Visit the vibrant fishing port of Kirkcudbright (pronounced ‘kir-coo-bree’), 8 miles away, for an arts-and-crafts trail with more than 100 venues, or Castle Douglas, 13.5 miles away, for its array of places to eat and foodie businesses.
