La hermosa cocina es el sueño de cualquier cocinero, totalmente equipada con electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable y un amplio espacio de encimera de granito. Great Week at BMB

Our family loved the location of this house, close to the pool and easy walk to the beach. We enjoyed coffee on the porches and dinner on the patio. Plenty of beach chairs for all, and they were in good shape. Lots of fun was had playing ping pong. The kitchen was a bit small for us because we do a lot of cooking as a family, but well stocked with pots and pans.

This was a great place to stay! The home was lovely, in a great quiet location, an easy five minute walk to the beach, and full of extra touches. The communication with management was very prompt. I would definitely stay here again.

Great house and neighborhood

2nd time we have stayed here. Great house, short walk to beach, steps away from pool. Great backyard patio area for gathering. Plenty of beach supplies, chairs, wagon, toys. Great ping pong table in garage. Will definitely stay here again.

July 17 -20 stay

Very well furnished. Bed in downstairs bedroom need new mattress, has deep depression in center. Also need larger towel bar, towels are too big for racks, also need hooks or bars in showers for wash cloths. Really enjoyed all of the extras in garage for beach. Great location

Fabulous home !

We loved our stay at “these are the days” as it is a beautiful and well appointed home, making it the perfect place from which to launch your beach days 😊. The owners are very responsive and went above and beyond to help us when we made a mistake on our grocery delivery order . The ping pong table and games added to family fun and we loved the whole blue mountain beach area . Thank you for a great family get-together !

An Oasis from the Heat

Our family had a wonderful time staying here. The house is in a great location between Destin and Panama City, plus walking distance to the beach. It was spacious, clean, had comfy beds and couches, and plenty of towels (including the beach variety). Actually these were the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in away from home. The best part about the house though is the AC. We did not do our research well enough and had looked up average temps for June thinking 85 felt like 85, but it never cools down at night and the brutal humidity adds a minimum of 10 more degrees. Thankfully the AC in this house is a beast and has no problem hitting the 70 degree limit they have. I would be very scared staying in an older home. One other tip for future guests. The conditions on the beach are unpredictable. There were red and purple flag warnings almost every day we were there, but driving up or down the coast sometimes resulted in much better conditions. I have seen reviews of this beach as being pristine, but in addition to the rip tide and jellyfish warnings, the water was clogged with algae and seaweed when we were here. Just something to be aware of if you are expecting nothing but picturesque waters. The only minor inconvenience I had with the house was that the garage was too hot and small to really make use of the ping pong table. We had looked forward to using that, but barely touched it because of these reasons. Not a big deal though - we were usually exhausted at the end of the day anyway. Thanks for hosting us. It was a fantastic stay and we would come back here again, although probably earlier in the season.

Perfect beach getaway

The house is well designed for a multigenerational family. We enjoyed the large living space, a full bathroom for every bedroom, the multiple outdoor spaces, the ping pong table in the garage, the provision of beach towels and beach toys, and proximity to the walking path to the beach.

Fantastic Location

Our family stayed here for 5 night beach vacation! We loved the house. The upstairs rooms all had very comfy beds and were spacious! The couch was extremely comfy and cozy! Kitchen was fully equipped. They did have a playpen for babies. The bathrooms were very nice. Water pressure could've been better. Very very short walk to the beach. The nearest beach access (blue mountain beach access) has alot of stairs. So, not easy for kids beach toy wagons. Definitely not handicap friendly! Ice creamery and red fish taco walking distance. Many restaurants close driving distance. Publix is a short drive away. Neighborhood is nice quiet and kid friendly. Pool is ok. Small and crowded most of the time. The house had lots of beach gear. Lots of chairs, toys, wagon, inflatables, boogie board, kids umbrellas, & towels! Overall, great experience. We will definitely be back here.

Beautiful Home

This home was perfect for our family of 13 ranging in age from 1-53!! Beautifully decorated and plenty of space for all. Also, very conveniently located close to Blue Mt. beach Creamery and Red Fish Taco which were both amazing!

Great weekend trip

This property was beautiful and very well equipped! The owner supplied items we didn’t expect such as a welcome basket with a few snacks, bath and cleaning items as well as some detergent for dishes and laundry which were very helpful prior to our trip to the grocery store. There are great beach items as well. The home and neighborhood are beautiful and quiet. It is a little farther walk to the beach, however you do pass both a great coffee shop and the best ice cream shop!! Our stay was terrific at “ These are the days”!

Beautiful, clean, convenient!

Wow. We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. They thought of all the conveniences to make this a wonderful stay for our family. Clean and beautifully decorated! Minutes walk to the beach and Blue Mountain Beach Creamery. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of beach towels. Games for the kids. Pool toys. Beach chairs. Quiet neighborhood. About a 45 minute drive to Destin Harbor. The list goes on....I can say so many great things about this home. The only negative is that we had to pack up and leave!! We plan to book again in the future.

Perfect Location, Great House

This house was a perfect spot for our two families of 4 to vacation. It was wonderful to have two king beds for the grownups. The kitchen had everything we needed and the garage stocked with beach toys and pool table could not have been better. The beach is an easy walk and the pool is close by. Rebecca was very responsive to questions and we really enjoyed our stay- we hope to be back!

Clean and comfortable

This house was very clean and ready for our stay. 5 minute walk to ocean and pool right around the corner. The house was very comfortable, nice bathrooms and good room for the kids. The manager was great and easy to contact which I did many times before our trip with concerns about the pandemic. She keep me informed and updated. Great location with many good restaurants close by, would definitely stay there again. Our family made some good memories on the beautiful beach.

Perfect House that lived up to all my expectations!

12 friends and myself just had the most wonderful experience at this property! It was the perfect girls trip! And there was plenty of room for all of us. It’s a close walk directly to the beach and the property has a wagon and lots of beach supplies to make it even more enjoyable! We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and hope to be back again in the future!

Beach getaway

Our family always visits the Destin area every year with two other families. We’ve stayed in Ft. Walton, Destin, Miramar, and have rented a house on the bay side. If you like the beaches of 30A, this is a newer house with a cute surrounding neighborhood. We were able to walk down to the beach access in 6 minutes, but maybe it was just that day, but there was fine green seaweed in the beach. That didn’t stop people from going in and we’ve swam at other beaches with this seaweed, but that day we decided to drive to Henderson State park near Destin instead. So odd that you can drive 25 minutes down the coast and get a totally different beach. No seaweed there! We enjoyed walking to Blue Mountain Creamery a few times and ate at Redfish Grill one night. There are other restaurants nearby, but Redfish was a quick walk and had friendly staff. (I cannot say that about the staff at Blue Mabel though). When we all were in the house, we enjoyed the spacious bedrooms and the kitchen. We used the outdoor grill a couple of times. The only thing that may need some attention is the couch. It is white and looked like it could use a little spot cleaning. Also when we opened up the sofa bed, there were popcorn pieces in it. No big deal, we threw the bedsheet in the washer before having the kids sleep on it. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this nicely decorated home.

These Are the Days is perfect for families! The bright, open floor plan is fresh and traditionally modern. The living area and kitchen is comfortable and beautiful. We cooked in several nights and had a great time just hanging at the house. The back patio was great for after dinner drinks and conversation- it’s a perfect place to stretch out and unwind. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is huge when travelling with more than one family. The rooms are nicely appointed and tastefully decorated with upscale furnishings. Both master suites upstairs had their own balconies with seating, which was so nice! Lakeside neighborhood is very nice- all beautiful new homes- and the community pool and workout room is right across the street from the house! The path through to Redfish Village and the beach is right next to the house, making it the home with closest access. We walked to Trebeache, one of our favorite restaurants on 30A several times during our trip. Our kids LOVED being able to walk across the street to Blue Mountain Beach Creamery, the best ice cream shop on 30A.
