Perfect family vacation

Beautiful weekend away

Fantastic home with a lot of room

We stayed a week at Ortley beach and couldn't have been in a better home. We had 8 people and all fit comfortably. It was very clean when we arrived and we all slept very well because it was air conditioned. The beach was a small walk and there were great places to eat in walking distance as well.

We renewed our vows for our 25th anniversary with our children on the beach and our stay in your home was perfect. There was plenty of room for everyone. It was so close to the beach which made everything so much nicer. Your home is beautiful inside and out.

Great beach escape

This rental was absolutely perfect. Property was just as described and met our every need! It was very spacious with sizable rooms and comfortable beds and plenty of storage for our large family. The balconies were lovely~although we loved rocking on the front porch most. The owners were wonderful!! Thanks again for allowing us to use your home. We hated to leave and cannot wait to book again!

It was wonderful! Everything in the house we needed and even what we needed for the beach. Lots of chairs boogie boards. The house is beautiful and we felt right at home. Perfect location to the beach! The owners were quick in response to any questions we had. Thank you!

Ortley Beach Getaway

To say we enjoyed our week is an understatement. My family and I had such a lovely time at Ortley Beach. The house was even better in person! Very spacious—we were 5 adults and 4 children and never felt crowded. The house was also extremely clean and had everything we needed to make for an enjoyable stay. The house was steps away from the beach and local attractions/restaurants, which made getting around with a big crowd very easy. Also David and Cindy were a pleasure to rent from and very responsive. If you are looking for a beautiful home in a beach town I highly recommend this house!

The Perfect Beach Getaway!

Highly recommend this house! Located in a family friendly area just steps to the beach. Close to several restaurants and the local farmers market. House is newly updated and spotless. Kitchen was well stocked with essentials. Great deck off the back of the house with a large table and access to a grill. We were also big fans of the front porch that had several comfy rockers. Access to the garage was great for us since we have a little one. It was the perfect place to store all of our gear, strollers, bikes, etc. To top it off, the owner and his family were so friendly and great to work with. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful home and great location!

The house was absolutely beautiful, it was like staying at a 5 star hotel, but better! Great layout with kitchen open to dining and living room, first floor powder room too! 2 decks and backyard with grill. Beds were so comfortable, house is decorated perfectly as well. Home was so clean it seemed brand new! Location location location - walk to everything. There were 7 adults in our group and there was enough space for all. What a great vacation spot!

Beach Block Gem

PROS: Beach Block, bathrooms at beach access, arcade and mini golf on one corner, Kohrs ice cream on other corner, 2 blocks to bagels, 8 blocks to Colonial Bakery, Music Man Ice cream, king size beds, multiple bathrooms, decks with great views, house so quiet you can't hear the neighbors at all. CONS: Stairs. Understandable with Hurricane Sandy. Just lots of stairs for the grandparents.

Outstanding Home for a Family Vacation!

This is the perfect place for a family getaway! The house itself is beautiful, clean, spacious and the layout is extremely well designed. Located ½ block to the beach and ½ block to restaurants and shops, it is easily walkable. Parking is no problem as there is space for 2 cars on the property (plus plenty of street parking). In the backyard, we all enjoyed the outdoor shower, and the grill was great for barbequing! The the first floor deck, above the backyard, has a large table with plenty of chairs and was a favorite place to have meals. Dave and Cindy were wonderful hosts –friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with. If you choose to stay at this house, you and your family will be very happy!

Special thanks to Cindy & Dave for allowing us to share their home for our family reunion! They're amazing owners who are a joy to work with and keep their beautiful home in prime shape. Great location with many attractions within walking distance. They keep a lot of beach goodies in the garage so check with them before you bring or rent your own!!!

Excellent property and location

The house was open and airy. You’re just steps away from the beach, mini golf and what’s better than Korh’s. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners are absolutely helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Ortley Beach Oasis!

This property is beautifully updated, clean, and comfortable. It's in a great location, 5 minutes from the beach. This part of the beach is breathtaking and not crowded. The home that has everything and so much more!

When our family of 10 first arrived, we were so excited about what the home had to offer! A brand new beach house that was immaculate, with lots of space, porches with nice views and in a great location close to the beach! The rooms were spacious with plenty of storage for clothes. The open floor plan including the kitchen and living room area was perfect for entertaining! Also we were within walking distance to many different local eateries! Love that it’s new and clean and very comfortable.

We had everything we needed. Just unpack and we were all settled. All bedrooms and bathrooms were comfy. Love the proximity to the beach. Of course, what more could we ask for. Mini golf, restaurant arcade at the end of the block. And an ice cream store just as close. Exactly 1 mile south we were at the Boardwalk in Seaside.

Beautiful house, close to the beach!

We had a wonderful time. The house was perfect for our family get together...the kids loved the outdoor shower! Only 2 blocks from the beach made beach trips easy. Can’t wait for next year.

Wonderful Beach Getaway

This is a wonderful beach house just a few houses from the beach. The home is exactly as pictured, tastefully decorated with high quality furnishings and super clean! We loved the fact that there was two en suite king rooms, as we were sharing the house with other couples. There is plenty of space for 10 people and several private decks if you want to get away. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare you own meals, and there are several restaurants nearby. Sea Side is walkable, but far enough away to escape the crazy tourists. We loved our stay and have already recommended it several of our friends and are hopeing to be back again next summer.

Fabulous beach block vacation

This is the house to stay at Ortley Beach ! Perfect for families and couples. Lots of beautiful decks some with beach view. Very spacious kitchen and family room for relaxing. Spectacular king suite with gorgeous deck with stunning ocean views. 3 other awesome bedrooms, one with 2 bunk beds ! The bathrooms are gorgeous. Walking distance to beautiful beach with bathroom facilities and lifeguard station. Nice wide block for biking and strollers. Miniature golf and arcade within walking distance. Great little restaurants and shops within walking distance. We HIGHLY recommend this place and have already made our reservations for next summer !

My wife Cindy and I had always dreamed of having a beach house. We bought this Sandy damaged property in September of 2015 and embarked on planning and building this home. We designed this house with an open floor plan and tried to create a really relaxing feeling for our family. I have a large family and we are spread out over the country so it is nice to have 20 beds between both units for our family reunions.

Ortley Beach is a fantastic location! It is central to so many things. Seaside boardwalk is just a 5 to 10 minute walk, you can bike to Island Beach State Park in about 15 minutes or drive to Jenkinson's in Point Pleasant in 15 minutes. There are good restaurants and shops all with in walking distance, making it very easy to park the car for the week. Our neighborhood is great with a mix of full time residents and vacationing families.
