Excellent place on the beach

Our group was very impressed with the property, and the price was quite reasonable. The amenities were plentiful, and the unit and outside property were immaculate and very well cared for. Pool and beach access were perfect, and we never had to wait for lounger use anytime we went to the pool. The kitchen was also well stocked for cooking. We will definitely be coming back in the future.

Great condo by the beach

We loved just about everything during our stay here. We loved being by the beach, hearing the waves and watching the sunrise in the mornings. The grounds and the pool are all beautiful and well maintained. The home was fairly well stocked, though the place says it sleeps 4-6 and there were only enough dishes for 4. Some of the cookware could stand to be replaced. Some of the towels looked a little dirty, but they smelled clean - they probably also need to be replaced but it wasn't horrible. And there were some stains on the quilt and sheets. The only other negative was that it was not as close to the village where everything is happening. It wasn't a very long drive but I think if we come back to Placencia we might stay somewhere closer to the village. But that being said, it was nice and quiet and the home was nice.

Peaceful, beautiful, friendly, relaxing, great condo

Everything was perfect. Four adults. Salt pool was perfect for laps or cooling off. Seashore was gorgeous for my morning coffee, walking, relaxing, swimming. We loved it there, we made our own breakfast and ate out for lunch and dinner. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Over all review

Some problems with fixtures. Refrigerator door was not working correctly. Wouldn't freeze ice. Bedroom wall light would shock you when you turned it on to read. Old kitchen dishes, bad condition and not enough. Pan coatings were coming off in the food when cooked. Lots of ants and bugs. Maintenance crew were good and friendly. Showed up when needed. They did said owner would not pay for repacements or repairs. All problems appeared to be caused by the owner lack of interest in making it a good stay

1st trip to Placencia

Upon arrival to the villa, there was a dirty bathroom hand towel hanging in bathroom, only 1 wash cloth for 7 day stay, 4 bath towels, kitchen sink had dried coffee in it, bugs all over the kitchen counter the whole time there, did end up using baby oil with lavender to rid them daily. Mini fridge leaked water inside (did contact someone about this via text, said they would reach out to maintenance, but nobody ever came, battery in smoke detector died, let them know about that as well via text, when we left the smoke detector was still laying on kitchen table.. The inside of the Villa needed a good cleaning, cob webs in bedrooms, and bathrooms, this Villa needs to be updated inside, both beds were hard as a rock to sleep on.

Loved it

This was the perfect place for us-- we have 3 little kids and had the best time at the pool and on the grounds. It's nice to have walkable restaurants nearby, especially with happy hours! We can't wait to come back. Oh, for those looking for a beach-- the water was not clear at the shore, but was totally clear at the end of the pier.

Great place to stay.

My sister and I visited Beachside Villas during the week of Thanksgiving. It was a much needed break. The villas are right on the beach (hence the name), and right next door to Robert’s Grove resort and restaurant. We had breakfast and most dinners at RG’s restaurant, and the staff and food there were fantastic. The villa was spacious and was exactly what we needed for the stay. You are a few miles from town, but a taxi to Placencia village is on US$10. Renting a golf cart is probably not worth the US$50 a day. Overall, it was a great place to stay, and we would recommend it.

Spacious, comfy, AMAZING pool!

Loved the pool (and view from pool!), pier, and convenient to have restaurant next door. Condo was clean and adequately equipped, AC was awesome.

Beach side condo

Great value for a 2 bed condo on the beach with pool. As an Airbnb owner we focus on comfort and quality furnishings. This property could use some upgrades in furnishings. With that said, we would stay here again. You can't beat the cost to be on the beach

Perfect retreat

This review was submitted before the home was managed by Vacasa. Our family of four stayed here for a wedding. We walked to a Crabs game, the farmers market, dinner and to the city redwood park. The space was clean, bright and we loved the feel of the outdoors all around us. I would definitely come back!

The house is spacious and clean and the manager is very accommodating. The village isnt too far either just a 15minute cab ride. Literally STAY HERE! We were feeling a little down after our last place and just wanted to go and relax somewhere nice, this was the place! Our room was in a resort so we got to use all the amenities that the resort had. They had 3 pools each one a little more different and fun than the last. The dock that led out to the ocean was also AMAZING. They had chairs set up so we could relax, and a ladder to help us climb back onto the dock when we jumped in the water. Our favorite had to be the beds. They were soo amazing and so comfortable to sleep in. Seriously won’t find a better deal for all your getting. You also get your own concierge who can call a taxi for you or can help get you to a fun activity. 100% would do this stay again!!”

6 nights at a Robert's Grove Condo Unit

The unit and the grounds are very well maintained even if the resort is becoming somewhat dated. The staff were all very kind and accommodating. TV was generally not available with weak signal issues and the wifi connection was very slow and sometimes non-existent. The unit itself was decently stocked very spacious and overall an excellent value.

Ahhhh. Chilllll

Beautiful. Everything we needed was there. Just fantastic. We stayed 6 nights and wanted to exstend our stay but the unit was rented and david was able to book us in 31 which is a 2nd floor 1 bed beach side. Awesome. We would stay in either unit again and hope to. Amazing views from both units. 3 great restaurants just a moment away. Grounds are beautiful and it is quite. And on and on .....
