Con dos dormitorios y dos baños, este alquiler de vacaciones único presenta toques arquitectónicos fantásticos, acceso a una piscina compartida de borde infinito, vistas a la playa y mucho espacio para hasta cuatro personas. Tenga en cuenta que esta suite es la planta baja de una villa de dos niveles.

Aunque puede ser difícil abandonar este refugio tropical, la península de Placencia tiene mucho que ofrecer. Si nunca ha experimentado la vida silvestre submarina, ahora es su oportunidad de alquilar equipo de buceo en la ciudad cercana y reservar una guía para ver la belleza bajo el mar. Accommodation was very nice, especially the pool. We did have a lot of cockroaches and frogs at night. That needs to be taken care of before I would stay there again.

Loved the unique organic design of the house. It was perfect for 2 adults and a teenager. We had lots of space, the air conditioning worked well and it was close to good restaurants and activities. For an affordable unique accommodation it was perfect!

We enjoyed our stay so much. The views of the lagoon are beautiful. The infinity pool was so nice. We used the complimentary kayakes and had a blast. The paddles through the mangroves and around the little island. They offer free yoga class and I had my first yoga experience poolside with sunset lagoon views. We loved our stay and will be back.

Joyful relaxation

We did three rentals in Belize, and this was the best. Lovely and unique design. Gaudi-like. Good staff. Good text communication. Lovely pool. Relaxed setting away from the road and near the water. Top comment I can make… I would book it again. Miriam is good manager - friendly and helpful

Very nice property, roomy and comfortable with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The architecture is unique and admirable. There is a nice restaurant at a nearby resort and a store you could bike to with their provided beach cruisers; the rest of the sights and destinations in Placencia are on the very far end so you will want to rent a vehicle of some type during your stay here. The manager arranged to have a golf cart dropped off for our use and that worked out just fine; they were also very helpful and available with planning tours and other activities in the area.There are some maintenance issues which seem to be known by the management but they are not resolving. A bathroom sink in one room did not work and there are a lot of cracks and things that cockroaches and geckos found there way through. The entire property was listed for sale at the time we were there.

Such a Unique Property

Wonderfully located a close distance to the main town of Placencia. This property was super unique and tucked back far enough you felt like you were super secluded. The accommodations were great and the staff attended to any issue that arose. Make sure to take the hummingbird highway down if you drive from the city. Also, don't forget to stop for tamales at Mrs. Betha's at mile-marker 26 on your way down. A couple of quick notes, you are in a tropical location, so we did have some little ants and other animals make it into the home, but nothing serious unless you hate geckos in the shower! The property is also on the lagoon side, so we were told to stay out of the water there although kayaks were provided as there are crocodiles that tend to live in that water. Super quiet, great pool, close to any needed amenities, and an all-around fantastic time. Highly recommended!

Property is managed by 3rd party that communicates via WhatsApp. No direct line of comms between 3rd party and host. No concession for natural disasters. Wasted close to 4,000 on a trip we were warned off by 3rd party. Uninstalling app

This policy is in line with many of the other vacation rental management providers and OTAs like Airbnb and Vrbo if you care to review their policies on natural disasters as well.

Unsafe

Several hundreds of dollars was taken on the first day from this house from my purse that was in a bedroom. There are 5 doors that will go outside and the bedroom door was unlocked when we checked in (we did not know this). The safe was also strangely not working. Unfortunately, the staff is not to be trusted. The man that sprayed for bugs outside was seen by myself and my daughter checking doors to see if they were unlocked. The property is beautiful but that does not make up for the safety issue.

Unique Stay

Such an interesting complex with a fantastic pool. Great location in Maya Beach area. Definitely need a car but many excellent restaurants nearby so don't need to go into town every night. The two bedroom two bath Lion Fish has a well equipped kitchen, AC and great shower. The only downside is the uncomfortable couch. The Concierge Service was excellent, thanks to Pamela!

Something different to the bland normal rentals

Lion fish is roughly 15 mins drive outside of Placencia in a nice quiet location. There are ample good restaurants in the immediate vicinity within 5 mins drive. The view across the lagoon having the mayan mountains in the back drop is truly amazing. Onsite security guard was very diligent. Will definitely stay here again.

The villa we stayed in was beautiful the pictures don’t do it justice. Even though it’s not right on the ocean the lagoon and mountain views made up for it. The property mentions that there is a security guard at night, however, we only saw him twice out of the seven days we were there. This wasn’t a concern of ours though because we felt safe and comfortable on the property and in Belize in general. It also mentioned that there is a beach across the street (75 yards away) but I really wouldn’t even call this a beach. If you want to spend a nice day at the beach id recommend driving/biking/golf carting down to Placencia beach. When we booked we were so excited to see the place, once we arrived we were blown away with how beautiful the villa was and the rest of the property. We got to utilize the kayaks and we asked for life vest and they were quick to respond with the life vest for us! The pool was relaxing and perfect temperature. They have hammocks that you can lay in right by the pool, which makes it even more relaxing. The only thing I’d criticize is the cleanliness of the villa. It seemed very surface level quick clean wish they did a better job at doing a more in depth clean of the villa. From my understanding the whole property is fairly new so it would be a shame if the housekeeper people don’t keep up with the cleaning of the individual villas. LASTLY my favorite part is the property cat we became friends with. She was so sweet and would keep us company anytime we were outside. Overall I enjoyed staying here and would definitely rebook here again!

Great stay

This was a great stay for there were not very many people around, had pool and kayaks to ourselves. Felt safe knowing had security all night, great restaurant closeby. Building very unique and lots of fun.
