Lo último en belleza natural y privacidad

Ábrete camino por el camino menos transitado hasta esta hermosa cabaña de troncos construida en la década de 1920.

La cabaña, la única en el lago, se encuentra en un terreno privado rodeado de tierra DNR con el único acceso público al lago disponible a través de un pequeño bote en el lado opuesto del lago (puede traer su propio bote para lanzar y puede atracarlo en nuestro muelle). Disfrutarás de la serenidad de navegar en canoa por el lago para ver presas de castores, cisnes trompeteros, águilas y nenúfares con solo un puñado de pescadores en compañía.

Si bien no hay vecinos, ¡no pienses que estarás sin comodidades! La gran sala cuenta con una hermosa chimenea de piedra y un televisor LCD de 42 "(y reproductor de DVD) para los días lluviosos. El comedor aprovecha la cabina que se encuentra en un punto y ofrece vistas de ambas costas. Hay una canoa disponible para su uso, así como un pequeño bote de remos. Hay camas king en las habitaciones principales y de nivel inferior, mientras que los lofts están equipados con 2 camas individuales cada uno. Además, tanto Eagle River como Minoqua (y todo lo que tienen para ofrecer) están a 30 minutos.

The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. The cabin and surrounding were beautiful and most days we were the only people on the lake. We did not want to leave at the end of the week.

The location and property exceeded our expectations. The cabin was homey and beautifully decorated. We had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. We appreciated the privacy of the location, small beach and lake access. Fishing was great. Hope to return!

What a hidden gem!

This property (for me) was as close to heaven as you can get. If you truly want to get away from it all then this is the place for you. It’s remote, just a few miles off the paved roads. There’s zero traffic as the road in ends at this cabin. It’s the only cabin on this lake. It does have a public boat landing opposite the cabin but it’s a sandy bottom and shallow landing so a 4 wheel drive is best. We saw just 2 other boats all week long. We quite literally had the Lake to ourselves. No water skiers, no jet skiers, just solitude. Relax on the deck after a day of fishing while listening to the Loons. Fishing was good with plenty of Panfish, Bass and Northern as well. The cabin itself was very charming with a modern kitchen and bathroom. Make beautiful memories that will last a lifetime.

The worst thing about this place is leaving it

If you're looking for a place to escape from the madness of daily life, look no further. The lodge is absolutely beautiful, and the guest book goes all the way back to the 1930s. There is lots to love about the property. First, if you want to know what complete quiet sounds like, you need to stay here. If you happen to be here when there's no moon, you'll get a taste of what completely non-light-polluted skies are like. The lake has almost no traffic. There are a few state-run campsites on the opposite shore, but you'll barely notice the paddlers. The lake does have a public boat landing, but it's not for those without expert-level skills in trailer maneuvering, so there is zero boat traffic on the lake. One year we managed to get a larger speed boat in there, but it was quite a process and not worth it. This year we brought my 1446 Jon boat with a 15 HP outboard, and that was perfect for this lake. The lake is pristine. It is loaded with fish and other wildlife. There were very rare cranes on the lake. The loons sang at night and are very friendly if you're quiet. I can't emphasize how healthy the lake is in terms of biodiversity. You'll likely see some water snakes, but just leave them be. They are not poisonous or aggressive and are quite curious and interesting. The beach is awesome for swimming and sunbathing. We saw bear tracks on the fire road near the cabin! I've been coming to the Northwoods for over 50 years. This is by far my favorite spot. It is a magical place.

An Amazing Cabin with Unmatched Seclusion

What a phenomenal place! We were struck by the privacy of the property and the lake, while available to the public, was essentially ours for the week. Would highly recommend and would return in a heartbeat.

There is wind through the trees. Hummingbirds singing eagles soaring in the sky. beautiful starry skies at night. The accommodations were first class. We only left twice to restock the fridge. Everything else was furnished very nicely The no other noise was priceless Thank you

Piece of Heaven

This is a one of a kind property —so unique, so peaceful, and so beautiful. An original log cabin from the 20’s, updated and modernized, but still keeping the history alive. No Wi-Fi, but the views and nature made that totally worth it. Sunrises and sunsets—gorgeous!

Up North Paradise (with horseflies)

This is an amazing, one-of-a-kind cabin in a great part of Wisconsin. The fact that this property is available to other families is awesome. We loved paddling out on the lake as a family while eagles soared overhead. Campfires every night. Easy fun fishing on a lake packed with hungry bluegill. There are lots of great spots to chill and look out at nothing but water and wilderness, including a great big deck with comfy chairs. Morning coffee with the loons was a favorite. The cabin itself is very cool and with two full baths, dishwasher, and a big library of movies when you need a break from bugs. The owners have done an excellent job making this place ideal for experiencing a Northwoods cabin on a lake. You'll be hard-pressed to find anything else like it!

Northwoods Perfection!

Unbelievably beautiful property, the only house on a calm and scenic lake with loons, eagles, herons, hummingbirds, small fish, and trumpeter swans in season. The cabin is historical but so well maintained, inside and out, with many much-appreciated conveniences (large refrigerator, big showers, comfy beds, plenty of kitchen supplies and utensils, toys and books for the children, live and well-kept houseplants in several rooms). Our four-generation family spent all of last week enjoying the sandy walk-in beach, the sturdy dock for mooring our boat, provided canoe and kayak, the beautiful deck, and spacious porch. The nicely furnished rooms are much larger than they appear in the pictures (suggest new photos with better lighting). One other suggestion: the description and/or photos should show the ladder access to the loft bedrooms and the spiral staircase to the lower level---both were a surprise when we arrived, and neither were especially navigable by over-80 great-grandparents and 2- and 3-year-old toddlers. We managed by using the extra bed and provided pack-and-play on the lower level, which worked out, but meant we never used the fourth bedroom, after having chosen this property specifically because of its having four bedrooms. We've stayed in many cottages, cabins, and timeshare units (both domestic and foreign), and have never before given a five-star review!

A place to get away from it all

This property was quite possibly everything we wanted and more from a vacation property. The dock and sand beach allows the kids (and adults) plenty of space to swim and chase minnows. We were able to catch several kinds of panfish off just the dock, and the rouge bass or northern pike. The provided rowboat was perfect for quick trips out into the lake to fish for pike and bass as well, with a rented motor. No trip returned without at least a few caught. The property itself provided comfortable furniture and had plenty of space for 7 people each day for a week. The kids loved having lofts they could climb up to for bed. The parents loved that the sunroom afforded us some isolation from the loft area when the kids went to bed. Every morning felt like a novel. Looking out over the lake early in the morning and hearing the loons or the seeing the bald eagles soaring with typically no one on the water (or 1-2 boats if that). The peace and quiet you feel out there is something that can't really be described. Being able to leave the garbage at the property was a major bonus as it cuts a run to town and allows you to push off thinking about leaving a bit more. The kitchen was fully stocked and never prevented us from making a meal. Though we tried our best to utilize the stone firepit right outside of the cabin as much as we could with the generous wood supply. Our families time there really did feel magical and was a needed recharge. Thank you so much for letting us into your little slice of peace.

Top notch privacy with clean lake

This cabin is the one you drive by and wish you owned it yourself. It is completely private and the grounds were meticulous. We had 8 adults and there was plenty of room with comfortable seating for everyone. The ladders to the two loft bedrooms were fun for the young adults to experience. The spiral staircase to the lower level was a little difficult to get down with suitcases but not a problem once you get use to them. This lower level open space with bedroom and full bathroom with walk-in shower was nice. We were very pleased with the amenities. The refrigerator was large enough for two families with room for food from 2 oversized coolers. The grill was amazing and ready to cook on in 2 minutes. Beds were comfortable and the windows were easy to open so you could have a beautiful breeze all day long. The walk to the water was a little difficult for my 78 year old father who has mobility issues but my mom at 75 made it down just fine. My dad sat on the comfortable outside deck furniture or inside where he could see the lake from any angle. The young adults hung out on the dock on the west side, they loved the privacy it offered and it allowed them to be away from the parents. They also played basketball on the bonus court we didn’t know about. I was so pleased with this location. Being the only cabin on the lake was precious. We didn’t worry about boat traffic as there were only a few locals who sporadically came out. We fished off the doc as well. The fishing is abundant if you know how to find them. We fed a hawk from our boat who was circling us waiting for some scraps and watched a turtle lay eggs on the beach. An amazing experience for sure. It is obvious that the host does everything they can to make guests comfortable. There were so many little bonuses like the firewood! There was plenty provided for our stay and we didn’t even use it all. Storing garbage in a locked cubby outside kept the area clean and worry free the entire time. The owners took care of the garbage after we left, which was another bonus. I feel so lucky to have experienced a cabin like this as it really felt like a once in a lifetime chance to be somewhere so beautiful and remote. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Heaven on Earth

If you’re a fan of undeveloped northern lakes, local history and artifacts, log structures, super-canopy white pines, wildlife, silence, dark skies, and privacy -- then it can’t get any better than this. There is vacation rental on Christner Lake near Hayward called “Heaven on Earth.” Not even close, there is only one “Heaven on Earth” and it’s here at Partridge Lake.

Quiet Escape

Our stay at Partridge Lake was very nice. Rachel was very nice to work with and easily reached with questions and concerns. The cabin is very nice and accommodating for any stay. Practically anything you could imagine you'd need at a lake cabin was present. A well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and lines, plenty of paper products, and firewood included. A small suggestion would be add a few more cooking utensils, otherwise the kitchen and items were great to work with for a week. The lofts are accessible through sturdy ladders and fun for children. The shower in the bathroom on the main floor didnt have great pressure which limited us to one shower for 4 adults and children. Not terrible but a slight inconvenience. The boat launch is not great. We have a Ford f-150 and almost a 17ft fishing boat and it was very difficult to get in due to a lack of a turn around at the launch. The beach was a phenomenal touch with little kids but the lake was very very weedy. Weeds started before I was waist deep. We did enjoy taking the boat to the middle of the lake to swim with the older kids though. The bugs were intense being so remote but we were prepared for this, our Thermacells helped. Another suggestion is to wrap the basketball pole with protective padding. The cement there gets easily covered with rocks and debris making slipping easy. My son did get injured this way. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed working with Rachel, she was very accommodating.

A perfect place to vacation

Our stay at the cabin on Partridge Lake was wonderful. This historic cabin was everything we could ask for and more. The picturesque setting, along with the solitude, created a setting for a great family get together. The rustic cabin was clean and offered many comforts. However, much of our time was spent on the well furnished deck or on the water fishing and taking in the beautiful sights and sounds. I wish that our time here would have lasted longer. Thank you for sharing this property!

Up north vacation

Where do I start, This place was amazing. Fishing, swimming, grilling out, smores at the firepit. Everything in the cabin was clean and neat. very comfortable. All the peace and quiet and the nature around you was beautiful. We all had a great time!! I have stayed up north lots in the past, but I will say I was able to see the most stars in the sky ever at this place!

Tranquil and Relaxing

We are a fishing loving family and the fishing was a lot of fun, from both the dock and a boat. The surrounding nature was breath taking! Bring tons of bug spray!! Keeping a bonfire going helped keep the mosquitoes away. Dog loved the freedom! House has a family friendly layout which the was perfect for our stay. Will definitely go back!

Just incredible!

I'll go out on a limb and say best property in the Northwoods!! Just an incredible slice of heaven. Super unique log cabin full of character and upgrades! Partridge lake is gorgeous and full of bass and panfish.
