The hosts were great loving people, the amenities were everything you needed plus more. The Lake House was clean, quiet and beautiful. I stayed there for 6 weeks and after the first day there I booked it for next winter for 10 weeks.

Great stay!

A very nice home in a great location! Beautiful lake views and even had kayaks to use! Host was very friendly and communication was great! Clean and comfortable and made our 2 week stay feel like home. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to others!

Fantastic

This is a pretty perfect property on a lovely lake with amazing sunsets. Wonderful owners who are extremely nice and very helpful. We had another peaceful stay on Calm Lake. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed our extended stay at the beach house. The home was all the latest equipment and comfortable. Great remodel job. Sunsets were spectacular as was the fishing. Will consider this place again should our travels take us to Florida

wish we could have stayed longer

The house was clean and bright, and the kitchen was extremely well stocked. The owners are very responsive and nice. The views of the lake from the screened porch were an extra bonus. We would stay there again.

May Getaway!

This is the second time we have stayed here! This place is definitely a great place to get away for a bit. Clean, comfortable, quiet, cozy and more! It is close to all the big stuff, but nestled away on a lake in a quiet area. The hosts are very good and provide good communication and I feel would be there for any issues, should they arise. We thoroughly enjoy staying here!

We had a wonderful stay at this quaint and peaceful lake house. The house was very clean with a fully stocked kitchen. Cooking any type of meal in the kitchen was easy to do with many basic seasonings and most kitchen cooking tools and appliances that may be needed. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms are nicely updated. The main living area is furnished with a comfortable couch, chairs and TV. There’s a nicely furnished screened patio which included a dining table and chairs with a great ceiling fan. The HIGHLIGHT of our stay was the beautiful lake with gorgeous Tampa sunsets and active waterfowl. We were privileged to have daily visits from a pair of sandhill cranes and their recent hatchling. The host, Shannon, was very communicative and kindly addressed any questions or concerns. In addition there is a great welcome “manual” provided with comprehensive info regarding the property and surrounding area. The location was perfect for our needs. Grocery shopping, restaurants and a mall are a close drive away. Highly recommend this property!

Great Location

Work trip to Tampa, Training at Local Flight Safety facility 12 minute drive. Location of this house is wonderful. Local restaurants, grocery stores! Relaxing back porch and kayaks to venture out on. Bass fishing is a bonus. Kitchen has all the needed supplies. Wifi and washer & dryer. Will visit again.

What a find!

This lakehouse was perfect!!! Beautiful renovation of a mid-century build. Modern appliances. Adorable decor. Hot water for days under lux showerhead. Well stocked kitchen. View amazing. Appreciated the use of kayaks. Great neighbor. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Christmas Week at Lindsay Lake House

We were pleasantly surprised at how modern and clean this lake house was. Everything was new and fully equipped with what you would need from a home away from home. We enjoyed everything about it. Very comfortable and even used the kitchen to cook. We had family over for a BBQ and we used the fire pit one evening. We would definitely rent this lake house again.

Odessa diamond on the lake

absolutely wonderful little house on the lake! beautiful sunsets! clean and comfortable! awesome screened in patio! well stocked kitchen! easy to follow directions for check in! And most of all, a really good host! they communicated with us before checking to make sure all was ready and made sure we were comfortable after we arrived! An enjoyable retreat that we would like to go back to! All in all, a great place to stay!

Outstanding Lake House Stay

A beautifully renovated, up to date house with exceptional lake view. Gigantic screened in porch provided many hours of relaxation. Kitchen is superbly maintained and enhanced by multiple touches - welcome gifts, drinks in the fridge and treats galore. Small personal touches throughout the home made it a special place. Very comfortably furnished. Entire property is well maintained and easy to reach.. Multiple lake activities available, including kayaks. Boat launch directly from driveway makes it easy to enter the water. A great value all around.

Excellent relaxing environment

This is our second time at the Lindsay lakehouse. We spent five weeks enjoying the peaceful surroundings, the cottage, the lake and wild life activity. The cottage is close to Live theatre, golf, restaurants, shopping etc. we found a lovely deli close to the cottage on Gunn highway called Joey,s Deli. Delightful. Shannon is very responsive and respectful of the guests staying at the cottage. Her communication is immediate although we had no issues while there. The description of the accommodations is accurate. The kitchen is fully equipped and the availability of a washer/dryer invaluable. My husband and I highly recommend this cottage.

The Lake house is very peaceful and relaxing. The kitchen is the most well stocked of all the places we have stayed in.The hosts were eager to make our stay enjoyable.There is a Welcome book that is very well organized and informative. Before you do anything else, look at the Welcome book. It will save you some time looking for markets, fun stuff, etc.We started everyday on the lanai with coffee , watching the waterfowl, listening to birds, and enjoying the view. The lake was like glass most days. There were a pair of sandhill cranes that visited almost daily, sometimes spending the day with us. The sunsets were phenomenal. And although we didn’t use it on our visit, there is a fire pit where you can spend evenings near the lake enjoying the night air and friendship. The lake house also has corn hole, kayaks, and fishing poles. The lake is spring fed and its colors change with the morning light. Beautiful

Christmas at the Lindsay Lakehouse

We enjoyed our two week holiday stay at the lake! The home is charming with well appointed comforts of home. The owners thought of many touches to make your stay comfortable from plush throw blankets, beautiful beach towels and all the kitchen gadgets you need! The beds are very comfortable and it’s just enough space for your family. The true prize of your stay is the lake view. You never tire of it and sunsets are something to be cherished. There is a fire pit, kayaks and a charcoal grill to enjoy. The owners were very responsive when we did reach out on inquiry of the property and with a few questions. Winn Dixie is a mile down the road. The surrounding area offers nature preserves, Tampa Bay walking/biking trails, Citrus Park Mall, golf courses -something for everyone. Do not hesitate to stay here!

There are not enough words to describe the amazing stay we had at this adorable lakefront house. Shannon, the host, was so helpful and quick to respond when I asked questions about the area and when we needed to make some slight adjustments to our trip(adding a couple of days). The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials. We took advantage of the kayaks that were provided and throughly enjoyed the screened in porch. There were several evenings that thunderstorms came through and it was incredible to sit out on the porch and watch the storm. There are grocery stores nearby, great restaurants, and its not too long of a drive to the beach. Shannon has made this location a warm and welcoming place to land during vacations. The neighborhood is quiet and we felt very safe and secure there. It was so peaceful to wake up in the morning and go out on the patio to enjoy the sound of the Sandhill Cranes and other birds while taking in all the beauty of the lake. We really appreciated Shannon's notebook that walked us through check-in, check-out, all the details of our stay, and ideas of activities, restaurants, and things to see. There were even a few coupons in there for local activities. There aren't enough stars to truly show our overall rating on everything about this property. When we travel back the the area, we will absolutely stay here again! Thank you Shannon! Also, don't miss out on Q's Que & Boil, its delicious!

Loved the "Lake House".

We loved the "lake house." Sunsets are spectacular indeed, but ordinary days are lovely, too. Kayaking and birdlife are a plus and all is generally peaceful (nice neighbors too). The house itself is clean, cool, and charming. The screened in patio really extends the living space (and no worries about mosquitos or intense sun etc). A pleasure to come back to, after a day at the beach and braving the Tampa Bay Area traffic. Shannon and the crew were very kind and responsive. We hope to return (frequently). Highly recommend it!

Great Lake house

This is a very well maintained lake house with a nice screened in lanai. The hosts supplied all the necessities along with a few goodies waiting for us when we checked in.

A refreshing Oasis

This place far exceeded our expectations! Very peaceful and relaxing time for us. Very clean and well stocked Shannon was very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions we had. We greatly enjoyed the bike/walking trails close by. Gorgeous sunsets over the lake. A very peaceful haven! The screened in porch was a highlight as well! Would definitely love to come back!

Fabulous Lake Retreat

We loved our stay in this lovely home. We enjoyed having the lovely view of the lake everyday. The finishes in the home are beautiful, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, and the neighborhood is very quiet. The owners were very responsive making sure we got in okay, and checking in with us the day we were scheduled to leave. We would definitely stay here again!
