Kay we were so sorry this happened. There were Wi-Fi issues by spectrum in the entire complex for several days. I recently spoke with a friend who said the issues had just recently within the past several days been solved. So sorry this was beyond our control and since that time we have placed three Roku TVs in the unit so that there is no issue with local cable. It's all a one stop shop now with the Roku as long as the Wi-Fi is up and it usually is. Again, we're so sorry. I understand the frustration with Wi-Fi outages, but beyond our control. Please come back to see us again. We love our repeat guests.

Glad you enjoyed your stay!! Pinehurst North Carolina is very hot in the summertime. We recommend leaving the air down pretty low and that's why we have fans in all bedrooms and on the porch. But you definitely have to turn it down more than you might at home. Come back and see us!!

I am so sorry about the broken drawer. With the US Open, it had been hard to get a repairman. It is fixed now. The pool is completely usable by guests staying in the unit, but not by visitors not staying in the complex. That rule would be the same no matter what pool you are using. If the pool were open to the public it would make pool use a nightmare so I appreciate that rule whole heartedly. We were unaware that your pool fob did not work and since you used the pool, it must have. If you had contacted me, there is another pool fob that I could have directed you to or remedied any mechanical issues. I am so sorry the community did not live up to your expectations:(. We find the pool to be a real plus in the summer for guests and the location ultra convenient for golfers.

Brian, we explained from your first complaint that pollen season in NC is messy. The outside of the unit is wood siding, and for about a month in the spring carpenter bees appear (they are only interested in the wood). The inside, as well as the outside porches are meticulously cleaned by our amazing cleaning service before guests arrive. I think you were spot on when you said that you cleaned the spider webs, and they were back the next day:( That is also a springtime issue that goes away. I requested to see pictures of any bugs inside so that I could have an exterminator come ASAP but unfortunately, you never provided those photographs to me. My cleaning service looked high and low for bugs on the inside when they were cleaning after your stay and saw none. The cleaning service did say there was a bit of a brown leaf in the dishwasher not a roach . I also called VRBO to see what our options were for refunding your money and explained that you were welcome to leave but VRBO processes refunds. They called you to discuss this and you hung up on them. The pool is not advertised to be open on the off-season. It is generally only open after Memorial Day through Labor Day, and sometimes even that can be delayed. We are so sorry that you did not enjoy our place or your stay because we have had nothing but years of happy customers and repeat visitors. We are always available (24 hours a day) as I was to you and willing to do anything to make your stay more enjoyable. Unfortunately, we cannot control the out of doors and spring season.
