Family vacation

A beautiful home. We used this as our home base for our Disney vacation. It was so nice to come back to the house and relax after each day at the parks. My only complaint is the temperature of the pool water, even though we paid to have it heated the water never got warm. But we really didn’t have much of a chance to swim. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect house for our family!

House was clean and well equipped. Pool was beautiful, our kids wanted to spend all day in it. Plenty of space for our group of 9. We highly recommend this home. It’s very close to Disney and many stores and restaurants. It’s located in a beautiful gated community which made us feel very safe! Owners are very kind and easy to contact. We will definitely be back!

Lovely Home close to Disney!

This is a fantastic property in a gated community that is well maintained with a very caring owner. A well appointed home that includes a screened private pool, hot tub and patio. An attached two car garage with a pool table and other games, more TV's than I could count and a community center with another pool, gym and nightly happy hour at very reasonable prices. I was here on business with colleagues but we all agreed we would pick this home for a family vacation. It is a must stay while vacationing at Disney and surrounding attractions!

Yearly Disney trip with family

The property was as advertised! Clean and beautiful! I highly recommend it. The pool and hot tub take a little while to warm up, but once they do, it is excellent! Communication with the owners was fantastic! Always called back and had the correct answers. Only thing missing was a can opener! L O L! We bought one of left one for the future guests!

Beautiful villa with everything we needed

We had a wonderful time in this fabulous villa. We have two young children and it worked perfectly out perfectly for all of us. The housewas clean, spacious and in a fantastic location close to all the Disney parks. The pool was relaxing as was the hot tub! This is a great location for all of the Disney parks, only 15 minutes away. Universal Studios was about 30 minutes driving. We shopped at a close by Super Walmart to get all of our groceries and supplies which was about 3 miles away. There is also pizza delivery to the resort which we took advantage of on our first day. Overall we had a fantastic time and enjoyed every minute!

Great stay in a great home in a nice neighborhood

Everything was as described. Owner was very responsive to our message prior to arrival. No issues other than hot tub wasn’t hot but with weather in the 90’s with plenty of sun we didn’t even report it. The kids could have cared less about that. Strongly recommend this house. My one tip for the host is not to charge 95$(50$ usage fee and 45$ cleaning fee)to use the gas grill, and then you still have to buy your own propane for the grill. It would be nice to have grilled some food for dinner by the pool. Thanks for letting us in your beautiful home!

Fantastic home in a perfect location

We were a UK family of 6 staying for a couple of weeks over Easter. We have stayed in many homes in the area over the last 20 years and this house is definitely one to return to. Emerald Island is a really lovely resort, the best in the area in our opinion and the house itself benefits from an ideal aspect with just grass, a small watercourse and a lovely tree line for a view - no rear neighbours whatsoever. Barely heard anything from the houses to the sides so time spent on the pool deck was perfectly peaceful. Pool deck furniture very comfortable, a larger dining table would be good for future guests, it's too small for such a large house occupancy (only seats 4 to eat). House interior very well appointed, comfortable beds and nice decor. Clean and tidy and a lovely home from home. Homeowners were very responsive to both enquiries and a couple of things flagged that would benefit from replacement. Perfectly positioned house for accessing the parks. We had a fabulous time and were sad to leave!

We have stayed at multiple properties in Emerald Island Resort. This house was one of the best. Lots of room for my family of 7. Clean and updated. TVs in every room were new and easy to use. Comfortable furnishings including a great couch for unwinding at the end of the day. Large pool deck. Game room in garage was a nice bonus. One area that could use a little extra would be more everyday kitchen utensils (like a pizza cutter), a blender for frozen drinks, and basic kitchen supplies like salt and pepper. Overall great house, responsive owners and would definitely rent this property again.

Big and Relaxing.

We stayed with our family of 4 with another family of 4. Upon arrival there were some cleanliness issues. Once the owners were notified they immediately had a cleaning crew over to the house and a pressure washer for the pool area. There were six bedrooms and we didn’t end up use an entire bedroom because it was so spacious. We did the disney park experience and it was always nice to come back to everyone having their own bathroom to take showers and baths. The kids loved the pool table and ping pong table. The house is really close to the parks and very close to restaurants and multiple grocery stores. Our days off from Disney parks were spent by the pool relaxing in the Florida warmth. These owners really care about their renters and make sure everything is taken care of.

Overall it was a good experience. Be careful with check out.

Overall the property was good and the hosts were great to work with while we stayed. Due to a small error in the listing we were expecting a pack & play but there wasn't one. The host was great and tried their best to have one delivered that night. The delivery got delayed but it was there the next day. We did have a disagreement on damages. We were charged a fee for replacing 8 white towels that were stained. We didn't do anything out of the ordinary with those towels and when we were cleaning up no one noticed any stains. The host sent us pictures and each towel had the same faded color stain. To me it looked like they were stained in the wash. Logically I think it was much more likely that 8 separate white towels with the same stain were damaged from the wash than from something we did to 8 different towels. Also most of the towels were not exactly brand new, so I felt like the charge to replace them was too much on top of my doubts that we caused the stains. We were pretty disappointed in that aspect of our stay, but everything else was good, so be careful with cleaning and checking out.

Lovely property, Attentive owners

We had a multi generational family gathering here for a two week period in July and August, 10 adults from both sides of the Atlantic. Everyone loved the house, all the rooms are well appointed and the beds are comfortable. The pool area is larger than most in the vicinity and paying extra for pool heating is recommended if you want to have a proper experience of the hot tub. Even in a hot August we got plenty of use from it. The fridge has plenty of ice and a cold water dispenser. Location is ideal, close to Disney and the 192 but feels out of the way. The house is certainly functional but the highlight is the pool area that isn't overlooked from behind and gives a feeling of space even with houses either side. The resort itself is well organised, the 24/7 manned front gate gives security and the staff in the clubhouse are very helpful if you have questions. We had a couple of issues with the Internet and power outages, both were outside the owners control but they were very quick and responsive to questions and concerns. Minor quibbles with the quality of the glassware and cutlery. There weren't enough decent glasses for 10 of us so we ended up buying some tumblers from Target. I presume they are still there. Some more wine glasses wouldnt hurt either, however I imagine most groups are not all adults. We all had a lovely time in the house and I wouldn't hesitate to rebook if I was looking for a property in the area again.

Joy is a true gem of HUMAN BEING and a world class home host.

The property was fantastic! The best part was the location's close proximity to all Orlando attractions. It was closest to Disney. The customer service was fantastic! I would recommend this villa to anyone interested in a hassle free vacation in a class location.

Great Staycation with family & friends

The property is decorated beautifully. The neighborhood gave a sense of a lovely tropical atmosphere. The experience was superb; however, it would be nice to be able to check in early at 12pm or 1pm without paying an extra fee. To ensure the villa is ready for each guest’s stay it takes several hours to make it the best it can be for you, our guests. To accommodate an earlier check-in request we must make special arrangements with the cleaning crew to accommodate the quicker cleaning which adds additional costs.
