Pictures from listing are spot on. Beautiful views and wonderful accommodations and convenient location. Hate the weather wasn't better to take advantage of the kayaks. Meredith is the perfect host-very prompt in responding and providing whatever you need. Would book again!

Meredith Place is wonderful—very clean and well stocked with beach equipment, toys, and bikes. All the queen and king beds feature massage functions, adding an extra level of comfort. The view from the living room window is absolutely amazing!

Excellent View/well appointed condo

We visited during the January snow and therefore were house bound, but the view of geese, ospreys and sunsets made it remarkable.

Beautiful Sunset

Lovely home on the sound. Perfect for our small family. Sadly, it rained almost the whole week and didn't get to enjoy all the kayak's and bikes but we still had a great time.

Wonderful stay in Duck!

We had a great time! Enjoyed using the bikes, crab pots, kayak and beach toys. Very generous to have! Wish we had time to paddle board. Enjoyed the views and access to Duck, etc. Perfect getaway! Thank you!

Best vacation

We stood at this property for 3 nights. The stay was wonderful. The beds were very comfortable and the views were spectacular. The screened in porch was also a plus. The host is very responsive. I would definitely recommend this place. Thank you

Wonderful Stay

We celebrated our 16th Anniversary here and loved every moment !!! Our host, Meredith, was very welcoming and provided great suggestions for dining. The view of the Sound is beautiful as it changes moment-by-moment. The property is well-appointed. The perfect place to stargaze, followed by a great night's sleep.Thank you Meredith !

Beautiful sunsets !

Right on the sound in Duck provided for great sunsets. Meredith was great with communication. The property is updated , very clean and had all the toys you need for the beach. It’s close to Duck so the shopping and dining was convenient. The condo was well stocked. Thanks for a great stay !

Perfect!

Everything was just as described. Your own private quiet spot on the beach and all equipment for anything you’d want to kayaking, pickleball, tennis, paddleboard, fishing with the pier right in front of the condo. Immediate responses any time I had a question. We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation.

Perfect Place in Duck

My family and I had just a wonderful time enjoying this property for a week in April vacation. We watched sunsets every evening from the pier, we walked to the beach on ocean side as well as into town on the convenient walking trail. We also fished from open ocean side and bay side and my son caught a baby drum, 2 skates and a huge channel cat fish (all right off the bay side pier). To add to all that, the renter provided all of the amenities and toys to make everything so much easier and convenient.

We will be back

Meredith’s property was just as expected and more. The location was perfect for spending time on the sound and beach as well as all over the barrier islands. We also enjoyed a fabulous morning with Wild Horse Adventure Tours to see the Spanish Mustangs of Corolla as well as delicious dinners at Sunset Cafe and Village Tavern and Table, both are waterfront. The view from the condo through the picture window and out on the screened in porch are mesmerizing night and day, especially sunset. Already looking forward to our next visit and stay in this wonderful condo!

We just had a wonderful week at Meredith’s beautiful house on the sound! We will miss waking up to the beautiful views right from our window. The house had everything we needed, beds with massaging mattresses were amazing and the shower in the master bedroom is a dream! The beach was rough after the hurricane for the first few days we were there but we still had plenty to do in the area thanks to Meredith’s recommendations! We went to the acquarium, wild horses tour of Corolla, Dolphin tour and fishing tour off Manchese Marina, flew a kite at Jockey Ridge park, went to minigolf and arcade. Once the beach calmed down towards the end of the week we enjoyed our time swimming, the beach is beautiful and not crowded. Our favorite restaurants were Paper Canoe and Blue Point. Thank you Meredith for our wonderful stay and memories!
