¡ENCANTADOR 3 BR VICTORIAN EN EL DISTRITO HISTÓRICO!
A poca distancia de tiendas, buena comida, esquí, senderismo y mucho más. Sólo el paso fuera de nuestra puerta de entrada a la belleza y el encanto de Crested Butte.

Lugar de Kate se encuentra en el distrito histórico en 413 Maroon Ave., a una cuadra de la calle principal. Lugar de Kate fue enviado a Crested Butte pieza por pieza en 1922, como un kit casero de Montgomery Ward originales. Fue erigido por un minero local y construido sobre una base de piedra de la montaña. La casa lleva el nombre de Kate Starika, que vivía en la casa como una viuda desde hace más de 60 años. En 1990, Kathy y Doug compraron la casa y restaurar su encanto victoriano. La casa fue reconocido por el Consejo de la zonificación y Architectural Review como el mejor ejemplo de actualización histórica completado en 1990.

"Tratamos de mantener la mayor cantidad de la integridad histórica de lo posible", dijo Doug, "la renovación fue una labor de amor." Las pinturas y revestimientos interiores y exteriores reflejan todas las casas inicios victorian. Como gran parte de los detalles de madera original y suelos fueron retenidos. Another Great Stay

This was our third stay at this property and we always enjoy the proximity to everything south CB has to offer, in addition to ease of exiting the neighborhood for hiking and fishing in the area. The cleanliness of the house improved from our last visit, and our only issue was getting into the house with the code provided, but it was resolved fairly quickly.

Perfect cottage.

Adorable cottage, beautifully decorated in perfect location of CB. Walkable everywhere, lovely gardens, clean, comfortable furniture, and well appointed. Interesting art and creative use of space.I have rented many times in CB, and this is the best.My only issue: I misread: "King-bed, 2" means one king-bed to sleep 2 people. Not 2 king-beds.

GREAT LOCATION! STAYED 5 NIGHTS IN APRIL

This is the perfect place to stay in town for Crested Butte - walk to restaurants and shops surrounded by the beautiful mountains! This charming house had everything we needed from comfortable beds and seating to a very well stocked kitchen The town is so friendly and has some great restaurants! Would definitely stay here again!

Christmas at Kate’s Place

What a beautiful place to spend our Colorado Christmas! Such a cozy, sweet house! The location was perfect to walk into town and get a delicious dinner or hot coffee and yummy breakfast in the AM!

Wedding weekend

A great place to stay in Crested Butte. Super location - quiet block very near all town attractions. Comfortable beds and super well stocked kitchen. Upstairs main bedroom suite was great. We were in town for my son’s wedding and great backyard and deck served as a wonderful place to sit and visit with family who came in for wedding. We would love to stay here again when we return for another visit.

Cute & Eclectic

Location is excellent! Short walk to all the shops/restaurants. House is cute and eclectic. Stocked with all the things you might need. Price was great! For those looking to stay at this property - please note that that the bedroom with the bunk bed is extremely small... not much space to move around. The bunk bed is only suitable for very small children. Our 6-year old slept on the bottom bunk, but it was such a low clearance that she would hit her head when trying to sit up or get in/out of the bed. Additionally - the back door of the home is in this same bedroom - which I will admit, was a bit unsettling being that our children were sleeping in this room. All in all - a great stay! Thank you for sharing your property with us!

Fourth of July-wedding

House was great and worked perfectly for our group. 80 year old grandma was able to get in and around using cane and walker. 1st floor bedroom was a perfect space for her which was our primary concern. Upstairs master worked well preparing for the wedding with multiple mirrors and space to spread out. Exterior deck with table and umbrella was utilized as a workspace prepping for the wedding reception. We enjoyed being outdoors while getting the work done.

Great location and quaint property

The best location to walk downtown Crested Butte and catch the shuttle. The property was perfect for my family of 5. It was cozy and warm and perfect for relaxing after a day on the slopes. Kathy was very responsive when we needed to communicate which was appreciated. We will definitely be back when we come to CB again

Thanksgiving Retreat

We drove from East Texas for a wonderful week with our family in Created Butte. Our son has a vacation home nearby, and we were able to have meals at both homes. There were 11 of us and several grand children would occasionally stay overnight. The house was perfect for us. The master bedroom was so nice and roomy. The 2 bedrooms downstairs were small and perfect. We had problems with the internet and the property management company (Mike) promptly came out the day before Thanksgiving and then he contacted Spectrum who’s service man - we think Steve - spent 3 hours Thanksgiving day and fixed the system. We were so grateful! The kitchen was small and well equipped. The house decor is charming. We will be back to stay in this property.

We loved our stay in this clean and inviting home. The beds were comfortable and the home had everything we needed. The location is excellent as the Elk Street is a short walk from our front door. Perfection

This is one of the best VRBO‘s we’ve stayed in. This place is well appointed. Anything you want for is there. Everything is stocked, almost everything you would need for cooking, washing, barbecue. It’s very well located near downtown Crested Butte. Impeccably clean. Kathy is very responsive. you can tell she really cares about this place.

My husband and I purchased Kate's Place in 1989 and have been adding updates ever since as a labor of love. Now retired we get to enjoy CB even more and have learned that spring and fall are also special times and are busy exploring the area during these seasons too. We share some of our favorite places in the Guest Book waiting for you at the house.

We often visited Crested Butte to ski and loved the area. When we saw Kate's Place we fell in love again! The house is part of the history of CB and is all most 100 years old. Kate's Place is located one block off the main street of Elk Ave....walking distance to hiking, shopping, dinning and parks. Two blocks from the free shuttle bus to the mountain.

Outdoor beauty, friendly people, wonderful hiking, skiing, rafting, biking and more within walking distance. Great food and social events...everything for the perfect vacation!
Great 4th of July parades, weekly music at the park and on the mountain. Food and wine events. Summer chair lift rides with or without your bike. Art shows and the weekly farmers market and art show are just a few of the events to keep you busy.
