Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit is absolutely beautiful ~ exactly as pictured ~ and is perfectly located. We didn't have to drive even once to enjoy every minute of our stay. There were restaurants and shops close by. Pier Park is just a short walk away too. The weather wasn't so cooperative, but we still enjoyed every minute of our time there. The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful, which is always a bonus. There was some construction going on, but it didn't impede our stay whatsoever. We're already talking about coming back again!

We stayed a month in February so comfort in the condo was important to us! 2 recliners was a plus! Great lighting; instant hot water in kitchen and showers; kitchen well stocked; new linens; master king bed comfortable (2nd queen bed not so much); and beautiful decor! Operating the Vizio TV was frustrating for my husband but overall it was a great stay!!

Disappointed in Aqua

I will say the dishwasher smelled awful. One elevator was out and the other 3 were very slow. The gate on our end to go into the pool area was closed, we had to walk clear to the other end and then back. We tried to get chairs by the main pool at 8:30 one day and they all had chairs on them with about two people at the pool. What happened to the "towels don't reserve chairs" rule? We have stayed at Aqua for many years and have been watching it slowly go down. Sad.

Nice 10th floor condo with 2 balconies but has a few issues

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve stayed at the Aqua every year for last 12+ years. We’ve had many different experiences & this wasn’t one of our best stays. Things we liked about this condo: seems Clean and well kept, updated Tile flooring, 2 balconies (small one up front, bigger one in back) beds and couch are comfortable. I wish I didn’t have to list the things we didn’t like about this condo on here but I’ve tried several times to report these issues to the Aqua management but no one has returned my calls. I even stopped by the office before leaving but 2 weeks later & still no one’s followed up with me. So my only other option is to list the things here we didn’t like about this condo: The skillets are horrible, you can’t cook with them, refrigerator didn’t get cold for 2 days. We had to buy styrofoam coolers to keep our food cold. We did reported this & someone came up to check the temperature 2x’s but didn’t do anything help cool the refrigerator. Men’s clothes in one of the drawers -very weird, No clocks except on the stove, no full length mirrors, Washing machine ruined a lot of our light colored clothes by leaving big stains on them, also left big stains on the towels. We had exactly 5 big towels for a family of 5 & the towels had holes in them. The worst part about this condo and I really hate to put this on here, but again I tried reporting this to the office twice but was told we were leaving the next day so they didn’t see the point in following up with me about the cockroaches that crawled out from underneath the refrigerator after dropping food on the floor. A little after 5pm cockroaches crawled out from underneath the refrigerator. We reported this 2x’s but was told it was after hours & not considered an emergency. So we left a pile of dead cockroaches on the floor in front of the refrigerator. If they fix these issues we would recommend staying in this condo but we spend

Disappointed 2nd Visit

These are my observation of changes from my visit last year.THE UNIT DOES NOT ACCOMMODATE 8 PEOPLE AS STATED! The sofa bed has been replaced with a regular sofa. The Kuerig which was a nice feature has been replaced with 2 coffee pots that have loose pieces, much of the tephlon cookware is scratched and unusable, the TV trays are no longer in the unit and only one wicker chair was on the balcony for the tall wicker table that is starting to unravel. Also only 2 hangers in the second bedroom closet where paint supplies are stored. Which also left the closet smelling of fumes. That being said we had a good time as a family. As the resort has many great amenities and the beach well God took care of that beauty!PS: IF YOU HAVE A DISABILTY BE AWARE THAT THE BEACH IS ONLY PARTIALLY ACCESSIBLE REQUIRING THE USE OF STAIRS AT THE BEACH LEVEL! THAT WAS A CONCERN AS I USE A CANE!

A lot of money for little reward

Reviewer Comments: The unit was well furnished and provided beach chairs and an umbrella. However, the king bed was extremely hard even through a mattress topper. The washer and dryer were both growing black mold and smelled horribly. In 2021, you would expect the television to have access to Netflix or Hulu or even basic channels but no tv in the condo had any of that. There was a very basic cable tv service provided and that was it. For over $2,000.00, I expect a lot more. Also - it is no fault of the condo’s but beware that there is extremely loud construction going on right outside of the balcony. This unit is the end unit and you can literally reach out and touch the construction site. Had I been made aware of this before booking, I would have booked a different condo. The noise level makes enjoying the sounds and view of the ocean impossible.

The unit was very clean except the floor which was full of sand as if it hadn’t been swept from the previous guests. As an end unit on the west end of the building the new construction of another condo being built very close ruins the view. The noise from the street and the helicopter pad were really noticeable in this unit. We have stayed at this property many times and love the location and all the amenities.

NEVER Returning - Liars & Inconsiderate

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Mmy family and I have been coming to PCB for 22 years. We love PCB. And we have always enjoyed our stays. We come for a week and don’t want to leave. This time however, was different. This time, we WANTED to leave early. Two of the four elevators were broken down. They said it just happened but the elevator maintenance man and other guests said it had been goin on since March. It was enough to make everyone very angry. There were multiple times over the course of 6 days that my family (all 28 of us on separate occasions) and I waited more than 30 minutes for an elevator. That’s just the waiting. Not to mention stopping on each and every floor. The **** part of it was that multiple sources said this has been going on since March. We received a text hours before check in that the elevators were down an verbatim said “we hope you packed your patience”. What. On. Earth?! That was the rudest thing to say knowing the state of everything. Massive amounts of people along with the insanely increased prices. Our trip was miserable. It is safe to say that I will NEVER return to Aqua. To top it off, I brought towels down to chairs at the pool and was heading up to eat breakfast and then come down 30 mins later. The security guard, told us we had to move them. I explained to her that at the time, only one elevator was working to which she said I was lying. I told her to double check because the lights around the buttons didn’t come on, on any of the floors where we had rooms. I told her it was our last day and that I would be right back and she said “I don’t care”. You would think there would be a little more compassion for people who are absolutely struggling to enjoy their time — there was not. She also said that I should “focus on courtesy”. I told her that she has the biggest problem with that. There were also bundles of hair on the shower walls in our master bath, the air did

Ongoing construction

Reviewer Comments: The unit was very nice, and we were excited to have a corner unit to enjoy the sunset and sunrise. However, there were huge construction cranes right next to our unit, making so much noise that we couldn't even sit outside on the patio. At one point in the morning it looked like the crane was going to come straight onto our patio. Very disappointed that this was not noted at all in the description for the unit. Another disappointment was the required 9AM checkout, even though we couldn't check in until after 4pm. That's very early for checkout when you're paying so much for these units. The cleaning crew was knocking on the door at 8:58AM! Another complaint is that one of the elevators wasn't working our entire stay, so the wait for the elevators would sometimes be 10 minutes or more.

Great stay, beautiful accommodations--- just a few small bumps

Our only small "road bump" was the code that we were given to access our condo was not correct. And because we arrived after hours, there was no one to help us. We called the emergency number but was placed into a special kind of **** that transferred us to the closed front desk over and over and over and over. I walked around the resort for nearly an hour looking for a security guard while my kiddos guarded our suitcases outside our condo but could find no one to help. I eventually called an emergency number I found in the elevator and was able to straighten it out and get into our condo. All that said, it was just a minor inconvenience (and we all make mistakes sometimes), so not going to take it out on the owners. Condo, view and beach were amazing!Clean and comfortable. Plus it was walking distance to great shops and food. Tootsies in the evening was great entertainment too. We will be back. :-)

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay. Check in and out was very easy with some changes made due to Covid. Pools were not managed by staff for social distancing so we stayed away from the crowded pools. Elevators were crowded with very little people wearing masks. Unit was clean and nice. Appliances worked in fair condition washer, dryer, dishwasher, stove and fridge all need to be updated. Beds were also uncomfortable and no sofa couch. Great location and great view! Side tip- we went to the local Walmart for groceries and was there for about 3 hours. Store was packed, hardly any masks worn and NO precautions taken for social distancing. Go during non busy times. We ate out once at Poppano Joes for seafood and had great food while sitting outside away from others. I would recommend this property but highly recommend updating appliances.
