This is such a beautiful home, we watched everyone that walked by look at the home because it was so beautiful! The short walk to the beach was very nice, the home was clean and had everything we could have needed.

Pool was great , although there were no instructions on how to turn the hot tub and pool heat on . The pool was very cold . We didn’t get to enjoy it until later in the week when the pool guy showed us how to turn everything on . Other than that everything was fantastic.

Amazing holiday

We've just got home after a week at this house, and miss it already. The house is gorgeous - the endless windows and open feel of the living room and kitchen, the large master bedroom, the outdoor space - all fantastic. Just a short walk to the beach, and a 12 minute walk down to the shops and ice cream parlor. Would definitely book again.

Great relaxing 4 weeks at the Dreammaker

The Glasshouse was a beautiful place for our family reunion We loved the openness of space in the living area looking out at palm trees , or lovely beach art inside. The master suite was exceptional, spacious and inviting with lovely view of the pool area. The only inconvenience we encountered was the thin wall dividing the two bedrooms, with a loud snorer in one room. We enjoyed the white sandy beach as well as the sanctuary of the protected heated pool area and hot tub. Any minor maintenance problems were addressed expediently We are sad to leave this lovely spot, but feel invigorated and full of happy memories

Glass treehouse with modern amenities and appliances

Loved the glass walls and treehouse effect. Didn’t like there wasn’t any downstairs bathroom. Also thought the beach was a lot further away than described. It is at least an 8 minute walk. Would have been nice if the owners provided a beach buggy located in the garage for renters use.

We just checked out of our house. We have been here 5/25-6/1. Have gone through Vacasa several times but will use a local vacation rental agency next time. I tried at least 10 times to get a local person in the **** ***** office and never got through. Wasn’t interested in speaking with someone else in another state that knew nothing about where we were staying. This was totally not acceptable! One thing I wanted to let someone know is that the master bath toilet is not sealing and water stands in the shower, toilet and vanity area.

This house worked perfectly for us. There was plenty of room to spread out. The pool is on the smaller side, but the hot tub was a real treat with the cooler temps at night. We didn't do any cooking, but the kitchen was nicely appointed. The smaller secondary fridge (assuming it was for drinks) is oddly located and kind of in the way. We did use it for beverages, though. The list of supplies provided were supposed to include shower wash, but that was not the case. We had to buy our own. The houses are also very close together. You can hear other conversations even though no one was loud. They do a nice job trying to buffer privacy with foilage, but the lots are zero clearance. We made sure to keep quiet, but worth noting if you have a louder group. Overall, we had a great trip and would definitely consider this house again.

Lovely home in Anna Maria- if everything works

The house is very pretty and was the perfect size for us- we had my husband and I and my son and his family. Location was great and the pool was wonderful. What wasn’t: we counted on cooking a lot of meals especially with a toddler with dietary restrictions. When we arrived the stovetop wouldn’t turn on. When we let the property management company know they sent over a young man who didn’t know how to fix it and said he would have someone else come out ASAP. Every day we contacted them management company and we were told the same thing- local manager was aware. For the five of us it cost us $200-250/day to eat out. The response from the management company had no urgency. When we left the house after a week, we still had not received a visit or a call. We loved the house but the management company will stop us from ever renting it again. Owners- the home is lovely but the experience was tainted by the management company.

2 stars!!!! First, the house is infected with termites. We needed to move the beds because of the termites, the roof is coming off and goes straight to the beds. How Vacasa can possible rent a house with this problem. I called to report the problem and as soon as the maintenance’s guy saw it he said he couldn’t do anything because we were there. The second night, an aninal was on the roof walking, making noises and scratching it, impossible to sleep. I called Vacasa AGAIN , the next day they sent someone and placed traps without luck, even the guy said that they had this problem before but the owner doesn’t want to cut trees. Out of 6 nights at least we heard the animal on the roof 4 nights. Pots in the kitchen in very poor condition. The house doesn’t even has a broom to clean the floor . Not a good experience!!!! If you are planning to go to Anna Maria and have a nice vacation, choose another house.

Decent, But Disappointing

My husband and I rented Dream Maker for a January winter getaway. The house was lovely and the interior was even better than the photos online. This was our first trip to the quaint and picturesque Anna Maria Island, and although it was their coldest week of the year, we still thoroughly enjoyed our trip and got lots of R&R. With that being said, there were a few basic rental features we are accustomed to when renting through VRBO that this property lacked; simple items like salt & pepper, decent outdoor lounge chairs and even decent-to-good quality bicycles. There were no proper lounge chairs by the pool (we actually went to the nearby Publix to buy cheap pool floats just to have something comfortable to lounge on outside of just putting our towels down on the hard surrounding pool area surface), the beach chairs in the garage were rusted and broken, and the two accessible bikes to use for exploring around the island were rusty and on their last legs (we took a short ride on the first day before heading back to the house in fear something on the bike would break mid-trip). They made horrible clanking noises when riding and didn't seem very safe. (They were actually kind of embarrassing to ride as the noises the overly worn parts made were extremely loud!). We prefer to cook most, if not all, of our meals ourselves instead of dining out and other properties we've rented were much more well equipped for this (i.e. no cooking spray, aluminum foil, spices of any kind, ziplock bags, the kitchen utensils are very outdated--spatulas on their last leg, most Tupperware sets did not match and knives were extremely dull). As a renter, we shouldn't have to sharpen our own knives. While we didn't mind purchasing these essential items ourselves, it would've been nice to already have these stocked like most other properties do. As other reviewers have mentioned, there is an issue with heat distribution throughout the home. The thermostat is located in the master bedroom which is in its own wing of the house--with the tall ceilings of the property, it was almost impossible to get the other rooms heated. We had to close off doors to the other bedrooms and take a box fan to put in the hallway leading from the master bedroom to the main living space (kitchen/living room) just to warm the rooms. Very nice vacation home near beaches

500 feet from nearest beach. Nice and quiet surroundings. Spacious house and lovely and luxurious interior. Pool was definitely too cold and I was not allowed to take out the pool cleaning machine :-). Lots of mosquitoes destroyed mornings and evenings at the pool.

Interesting house in lovely location

This house is beautiful and well-appointed. It's just a few blocks from the most gorgeous beach (Bean Point) and a quick bike or golf cart ride to the fun shopping/dining area of Pine Ave. The number of bathrooms was a real value-add!

Great Location!

This house was on the end of the island where there is not a lot of traffic. An easy walk straight to the beach access where you can watch beautiful sunsets. It is also within walking distance to the other side of the island where you can watch beautiful sunrises. The pool and hot tub are very nice. I wish there were lounge chairs by the pool. Other than that it is a great house. If you want to be on the quiet part if the island and stay in a beautiful home, this is the place.

Perfect Vacation!!

The house was perfect. Plenty of cooking utensils and pots and pans. We had one minor issue with the Keurig and Vacassa brought a brand new one in the box to is the next morning! Great job Vacassa!! The back yard and pool / Hot Tub area were amazing and a brand new gas grill!! Only thing I would suggest is some chase loungers for the pool area.

Very clean and well equipped

This house was wonderful. It had nearly everything we needed for a perfect beach week. It's quiet, beautifully decorated, and well located. I wish the master had a king bed and the pool area had loungers (instead of just chairs) but other than that, it was a 9.5/10.

Dreams were definitely made

This house has a fantastic location walkable to many entry points of Bean point beach and a short trip to many delicious restaurants and shops, along with many other beaches. The house itself was spotless and a fantastic home away from home for my family with young kids. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils you would need to cook and clean up. The openness of the floor plan and kitchen made the kitchen a great hang out while gathering for meals. The pool gets the perfect amount of sunlight during the afternoon hours and then when you turn on the spa mode, the jets heat up the hot tub for some relaxion. This home was great and I would highly recommend this property!
