Esta villa excepcional está construida en el estilo tradicional mexicano, con arquitectura moderna de mediados de siglo. La casa cuenta con una gran piscina, servicios recientemente mejorados y está decorada con bellas antigüedades y obras de arte.

Villa Castillo ha estado ofreciendo servicios de Hosting desde hace más de 10 años, y ha sido recientemente renovado, así que prepárate para tu nueva experiencia fantástica.
La Villa está ubicada en un acantilado en el exclusivo enclave residencial de Real de Conchas Chinas, junto al famoso barrio de Conchas Chinas. Las vistas panorámicas del océano, la ciudad y la montaña de la casa no tienen rival. ¡Imagínese sentado en sus pantalones cortos (con un personal preparado café, margarita o cerveza) mirando una vista completa del atardecer todas las noches!

Nuestros huéspedes constantemente informan que una característica favorita de Villa es nuestro personal muy dedicado de tres personas: el ama de casa, la mucama y un gran cocinero, quienes, en la mejor tradición mexicana, se esfuerzan por ver que se satisfagan todas sus necesidades. El personal trabaja 6 días a la semana (los domingos y feriados nacionales están libres), pero a menudo puede ser contratado para trabajar fuera de horas y días. Por ejemplo, si los invitados llegan un domingo, el personal trabajará y se tomará un día libre diferente. Las cenas son un evento favorito para nuestros invitados, con capacidad para hasta 16.

You wont regret it

I normally stay in resorts because frankly I am picky and like things easy. For my 40th 11 friends and I wanted to be close to the historic area in PVR so thought we would try a nice house. It did not disappoint! Erica, Alejandro and Cesar made everything a breeze from groceries, meals, cleaning and trips we were VERY well taken care of. (and the food was soooooo good!). You will not regret booking this stay!

Villa Castillo a wonderful vacation experience

Very nice and comfortable villa. Our group of 8 was treated to great food by our chef Cezar every day. We can not say enough about the food and presentation. It was a great dining experience every day for the entire stay of 7 days. Our maid Erica was there every day to make our stay comfortable and even gave us a going away gift. We liked the location as the beach and downtown are accessible by walking and or taxi. We hope we can all make it back next year. Thank you for making our vacation a special experience with great memories.

Amazing Stay, great views, excellent staff

We have stayed at this villa before and it was as good as I remembered it. The grounds are very well taken care of. Plenty of areas for sunbathing by the pool and amazing views. The pool was always at the perfect temperature and clean, an oasis. The rooms are clean, air-conditioned and the beds very roomy and comfortable. The best thing was the staff. The check in process was easy. Cesar, our chef and Erika our house keeper were incredible. Cesar prepared delicious meals to cater everyone's taste. The food was incredible and abundant. The house was cleaned every day, fresh towels provided daily, Erika did a couple loads of laundry for us as well. The common areas are perfect for family reunion, playing games and enjoying ourselves. We will definitely return.

A perfect place for a group trip

In a word: excelente! A group of 7 of us spent the week in PV for my birthday. The Villa was everything it was advertised to be. The pool and pool area are lovely with a gorgeous view of the water. The rooms are nicely appointed and crazy huge (at least the ones by the pool). And we were so well taken care of. Cesar (the chef) prepared a week's worth of delicious breakfasts and we hired him to prepare 3 dinners as well -- you will definitely want that -- he's an excellent, restaurant quality chef. Place was spotless and tidy. You will want to Uber everywhere but it's not a problem. The house doesn't have a sound system so you will want to bring a portable speaker for the pool. We had a marvelous time and felt very well-taken care of. Highly recommend if you've got a big group!

Terrible Management

we had trouble with the management team that started before we arrived at the property. We had a group of 10 girls were hassled about money (including being asked to make a cash deposit on arrival). We were falsely accused of breaking things in the house that we’re not even possible for us to have broken and it really ruined our entire experience in vacation. The chef was wonderful, and the house was nice outside of some insects and lizards in our rooms, which I know can’t always be controlled - overall dealing with the management company, Jamie, and Kim and their rude/threatening messages took away from our trip.

Thank you taking the time leave a review that we can respond to. Upon booking you made a booking for 8 people not 10. The extra money you were asked to pay was for the additional guests. As indicated when you booked, you booked at a rate for 8 people. The money we collect at check in is a $500usd damage deposit that although you were informed of that when you booked you treated the check in concierge rudely and degraded them in front of the villa staff. The tone was condescending and racial. Your group caused over 500usd in damages by breaking into a locked owners closet. Photos, video and other proof was sent to you clearly showing that your group broke into the closet and stole items from with in it. There was not threatening messages ever communicated to you. The messages were to collect funds for the damages caused by your group. They were not threats they were factual statements that we would have no choice to collect for the damages or that we would have to make a claim on VRBO. Following the successful claim filed with VRBO for the damages. You then proceeded to dispute the charges of the entire stay with your credit card company which resulted in VRBO taking back the funds for your booking. Truly, from the beginning these guests tried to get out of paying for their entire group and when that didn’t happen, they made sure they got their money back filing a credit card dispute. Unacceptable behavior. We have had hundreds of guests all with 4-5 star reviews without any issues.

The Most Amazing Stay - Book This Place!

My husband and I stayed at Villa Castillo with 8 friends for his 40th birthday trip and I cannot think of any other word to describe the property and our entire experience as incredible. We found the location to be ideal, in the picturesque neighborhood of Conchos Chinas, just a short Uber ride to downtown (Ubers typically come within minutes and are inexpensive.) The property itself is a dream - stunning views, heated pools, king beds in each room (everyone shared a room with one other person and there was more than enough room.) As amazing as the property itself is it’s the employees of the house that made our stay truly exceptional and memorable. Cesar is not just a talented chef but a kind and wonderful person. We planned to have just one dinner at home but ended up having four (his paella, ribs and traditional Mexican food were 10/10 - try them all!!) Breakfast every morning is a “can’t miss” we loved the fresh juice, mole and mole to name a few. The house overlooks a stunning sunset every evening and Maria cleans each room spotlessly every day. Sebastian, our property manager, goes above and beyond in every sense of the word to take care of your trip - he is the best person I’ve ever worked with in my rental experience. We felt safe, comfortable and well taken care of - we didn’t want to leave…we are already planning our trip back and wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

Amazing! Just like a little Resort

We had an incredible experience stay at Villa Castillo. We are a family of 9 over the age of 26yrs old. From the moment we walked onto the property we were made to feel welcome. Cesar the Chef was a dream. He and his staff made and served us a full breakfast every morning, we felt totally spoiled. We arranged for Cesar to make us a "Mexican themed" dinner one night and it was one of our favourite meals. The pool and outdoor area is where we spent 90% of our time and never tired of the incredible views of Banderas Bay. Truly a vacation to remember.

Exceptional Villa

We booked the villa for the month of January. We loved the house - and loved the staff even more. Maria is there every day cleaning top to bottom. Cezar the chef and Sebastian his assistant were amazing . Flexible when we had requests and surprised us with delicious creative meals. The pool deck has unparaleled views - pool is not heated but was refreshing on a hot day. The two bedrooms on the first level poolside were huge. On the upper level one bedroom was huge and had a view - the other two only looked onto the driveway. House is very secure. Concha Chinas location was a bit challenging for walking - steep hills. Taxis abundant tho and bus line is at the bottom of the hill. The house is undergoing transition and we had constant workman installing drapes and furniture but it all is improving the decor greatly. We made a few requests from the concierge that never materialized. There are water issues in the neighborhood and we were out of water a couple of days but the chef had water brought in the same day. The stars of the property are the chef & his assistant and hopefully they will improve his kitchen to help him create more marvelous meals. Overall a lovely stay in a old school villa.

We had the most amazing vacation. Villa Castillo was fabulous - but the best part about staying there was Cesar. Cesar made our vacation. He was not just an employee that worked at VC, who was an amazing chef, he became a friend to us. We absolutely enjoyed him and Sebastian. -!: we will miss them.

Cesar, Sebastian, Ashley and Villa Castilla for the win!

There were eight of us staying at the property. All adults, freinds who are like family. We come to Vallarta one to two times per year (except COVID times). We have rented all sorts of properties for many years (since 1994) and in several different Colonias. This property has been our favorite so far and we all agreed we we will be coming back and booking Villa Castilla for all our future trips for large groups. The two large master suites separate from the main house had an electrical problem the first day we got there (our hair dryer took out a circuit) and we didn't have electricity in two rooms for a day and one room didn't have power in the closet or bathroom, the whole week - but they were quick to fix and accommodate lighting in the sections not working for the duration of our trip and it didn't bother us. It did not affect the AC in our rooms, luckily! The water also didn't work for a day, but that was resolved and it didn't really impede our enjoyment. Cesar, the chef and all around house manager cannot get any better. He is an amazing chef, accommodating to everything we wanted or needed, arranged COVID testing, massages and accommodated last minute extra guests for dinner one night. Sebastian was a delight to have around and took extra care of us and did it with a smile. Ashley was just as sweet and helpful. The air conditioned rooms we large and easily stored our clothes, luggage and cooled very quickly with the AC. The main living room is quite large, but it could use for more seating and perhaps updating a bit. Some light bulbs were burned out and being the architect design person they were noticed, but I am picking at hairs here. The pool area is HUGE and this is the first property with a private pool we have rented that had warm water. I don't know if it was heated, but we spent hours in the pool, lounging night and day. The sunsets were spectacularly framed between the palm trees and the views were some of the best. It was quite private, no one was the home next door and we felt completely private from everyone around us. We can't wait to go back and will book when this property is open! There are some minor updating that needs to be done, but the overall property and Cesar/Seabastian and Ashley make it five stars.

Best place in town and affordable

Our group was 7 adults. Plenty of rooms to accommodate all 7 of us. The place is a secluded area with the most espectacular views. Can't say enough about this house. The staff at the house"our friends" Cesar,Sebastián and Ashley were the best. They always made sure that our stay was as comfortable as it could be even going the extra mile to provide every thing we needed. We are making plans to come back soon and after driving around the whole town and looking at other options villa castillo will be it for us every time we come back. thanks a lot for a wonderful weekend

Great Stay at Villa Castillo

Our group of 7 (ranging in age from 18-70) had an amazing time at this property. The property owner was very helpful & communicative throughout the booking process. She even scheduled our Covid testing to come to the villa which was very convenient. The property itself is beautiful with modern decor & an amazing view. It is Walking distance from the beach, although the walk has some steep hills! The real gem of the property is the amazing staff. Cesar & crew went above & beyond making sure all of our needs were met. They were awesome! I would definitely stay at this property again.

Thank you for taking the time to review us. Happy to report that in 2022, we have hired a new property management company. Under their direction, we have renovated and updated the property. There is a full time maid, gardeners and maintenance on-site on a bi-weekly bases. We also updated all the furnishings, the pool is now heated and TV's in all the rooms. Absolutely Perfect Get- Away

I can't say enough how incredibly happy we were with out stay at Villa Castilla. We were a group of two families, 4 adults and 5 children ages 9 - 3. Daniella, the host, was very communicative. She called us a month before our departure to answer any questions and replied to all texts & e-mails There was a ton of room for everyone; we probably could have had another family with us. The villa surrounds the pool area, making it the center living space of the home. The two biggest bedrooms each have their own bathroom and open to the pool area. The living area also opens to the pool and courtyard. Our goal was to get the kids outside in the sun; the layout did this perfectly. Also, we took time to hike (all hills) the neighborhood and look at the architecture of the surrounding homes - I recommend doing this if you like a workout. One thing we noticed is how Villa Castilla had one of the largest yards that was flat and fenced, making it safe for children. The other homes are built into the hillside on a slope and most have infinity pools; beautiful but not ideal for little kids. Cezar, the cook, is amazing. We wanted to take him home. Let me tell you, he cooked INCREDIBLE meals, including snacks mid-day for the adults and kids. He really wanted to please us, so he constantly was asking what we wanted for dinner and snacks. We finally told him to pick his favorite and, boy, were we glad we did. He even catered to our allergies by cooking gluten free. His food and margaritas are amazing. He did all of our grocery shopping, laundry and he cleaned the villa for us. We felt so spoiled. He was kind, respectful and anxious to take care of all of our needs. We were honored to thank him with a good tip upon our departure. The photos of the outdoors on VRBO do not do the view justice. The whole property faces the Pacific Ocean and we had the most stunning sunsets; I'm not sure a photo can do it justice. Also, do make sure to spend some time at the beach across the highway from the neighborhood; it is stunning. Our kids found the most beautiful shells and had a great time making sandcastles. One thing to note, supplies are minimal, we went out and bought floaties for the pool. We brought our own life jackets for the kids. Toiletries were a bar of soap and Head & Shoulders. We were totally fine with minimal, but it's something to note if you prefer extras. Daniella, Cezar and the villa were amazing. We can't wait to go back.

Thank you for the review. We appreciate you taking the time. We have engaged a property management company that have really working to bring Villa Castillo back to its glory. We now have premium amenities in the bathroom. WE have also updated the villa with new furnishings, installed TV' s in every room and the pool is now heated. All new loungers and outdoor furniture.

Nothing short of amazing

Not only was the house great but the staff was amazing. Ready to do whatever you want/need, even before you arrive, in order to make you’re stay a pleasurable one. I would definitely come back.

Birthday getaway was perfect

Villa Castillo was an amazing experience - the property overlooks the bay with rolling mountains in the horizon. The house is big with lots of open living space inside and casual spots to hangout outside. The staff were all very friendly and helpful each day and the food prepared was amazing. Definitely a place worth renting again!

Perfect Vacation

We had the best weekend staying here at the villa. The staff were so nice. Juan was very attentive and was constantly bringing out a new supply of margaritas for us. Silvia's food was to die for! It was the perfect vacation. The house was absolutely gorgeous and the views were stunning!

Beautiful location. Amazing views!!!

We loved our stay. Staff was wonderful. Looking forward to staying again. House was very spacious. Bedroom are huge but need TVs. I like to watch tv at night before bed but other than that it was great.

Exceptional!

We booked this villa for my 30th birthday trip. We had a group of 11 adults and there was more than enough room for everyone. The staff go above and beyond for you. They are all so helpful and friendly. We used our phones to help communicate with them. The food was some of the best I’ve ever had. Just let the chef do her thing and you won’t be disappointed. The views were stunning and the location was great. Short taxi/bus ride to shops, beaches and restaurants. Would highly recommend!!!

Wonderful family reunion

House was large enough for all 15 of us to stay comfortably. The staff were excellent. They went the extra mile to make our stay relaxing and comfortable. We asked the chef to cook dishes of his choice and were blessed with wonderful Mexican dishes that were served in a gourmet fashion. The leader of the staff, Judith, is a delight!!! I would highly recommend this vacation rental by owner home!
