Villa Gran Dia is a stunning 9200sq ft multi-leveled Mansion currently operating as one of the best luxury rental venues in Puerto Vallarta's south shore. This custom-designed home features six master suites, each with terraces and ocean views, indoor gourmet kitchen, a pool, and a private and separate 500sq ft BBQ patio and bar next to pool . 

Our luxury villa offers a full staff, kitchen, outside bar, a majestic garden area with two patios, and a pool overlooking the ocean, our main goal is that you relax and leave the rest to us!

Thank you for the review and concern. It’s very hard to pin point where guests eat/drink during their stay. We use a food service for our guests the food is delivered the day you arrive and never had an issue. Also you were at the Hyatt and complained you were sick upon arrival to the Villa you also went to the Villa by me for a wedding the day before you left. With that said I appreciate the concern and we were unable to identify where you got sick. I do take this serious I’m sorry your trip ended that way.

Wonderful place for a memorable event!

We recently stayed here for a family event close by. Such a breathtaking view, and amazing area. The villa fit our group perfectly, and chef Danny and Lucia made our stay so memorable. Additionally, the owner, Jennifer was very helpful through out the planning process, and was very helpful with our changing plans.Highly recommend!

Perfect for bachelorette party!!

Myself and 9 other gals stayed here for my bachelorette and it was the perfect villa! Spacious rooms with beautiful views, amazing chef (shoutout to Daniel for the amazing margs, mojitos, steak, churros, and guac). Jennifer (and Yolanda) were also easy to work with and attentive to our needs in booking a bunch of activities and cars for us. Great experience and highly recommend!

Great family trip!

We went with two other families, so ended up having 6 adults and 6 kids between 3 and 6. The kids had a great time in the pool. Adults enjoyed all the food Chef Daniel made, and the delicious Margaritas by Remy. We would definitely come again!

Nice place with a nice view

Our group had a great time at this house. We spent a lot of the time in the pool which was great. The owner connected us with a property manager that was able to help us add the final details to our trip. The onsite staff was great and the food prepared by the chef was top knotch. Overall a great time.

Our group of 9 had the best time at Jennifer’s Villa! From the moment I booked, Jennifer and her property manager were extremely communicative and answered all my questions. They went above and beyond to ensure I had a special birthday celebration, and accommodated my request for unscented laundry detergent due to an allergy with no problems. When we arrived at the villa we were so impressed with the welcoming staff - Chef Daniel and Lucia were so kind from day one til the very end. The villa itself is stunning and absolutely massive. It was so nice to have AC in the bedrooms, comfy beds & strong WiFi for work meetings. Chef Daniel is truly talented and I’m happy we let him take the lead on the menus (with a little guidance on our likes/dislikes). He prepared restaurant quality meals and some of the best margaritas I’ve had. We worked with the property manager and excursion partner to book our activities (boat day, yoga class, tarot card reading, etc) and all went perfectly and the providers were all great! There is a bus stop right outside the villa (10 pesos) which we took to the smaller beach, Mismaloya (10mins) most days to get wonderful, cheap, massages with ocean views (Azul Spa was our favorite!). You can also take it to the Romantic Zone (30mins). Very safe and lots of tourists on board. I liked being away from the busier part of town and with the reliable bus it was easy enough to get around. 10/10 would recommend and will return!

Home away from Home!

We had plenty of room to spread out and find peace and to come together as a family for an amazing vacation. We had amazing views for sunrise and sunset meals, it is close to great public beaches. Danny's food was amazing and his drinks are magical. Lucia is the sweetest most efficient housekeeper she would leave my daughter little things.Jennifer is great about keeping in touch and making sure everything gets done.they all made our stay so worth it. Hopefully we can come back soon!!

Unforgettable vacation!!!

The villa was perfect for our group of 13. We especially loved the outdoor space. Jennifer and Yolanda were easy to deal with if I had any questions. Chef Dani was nothing short of AMAZING!! Every meal was so delicious. Lucia was always smiling, taking great care of us as well. I would not recommend this for anyone with mobility issues as there are a lot of stairs

Just What I Needed!

This property had everything I needed. Very quiet neighborhood and literally minutes away from one of the best restaurants in that area The house staff was awesome and the chef prepared some of the best meals I’ve ever tasted. The owner was very responsive and handled any issues that arose swiftly. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Staff is Amazing!

The staff is amazing!! We stayed with a party of 11, small kids and adults. The house is very spacious and everyone can have their own room and bathroom comfortably. There were a lot of stairs for the little ones to play on so we had to be mindful of that. The staff was amazing and very helpful. Chef Danny exceeded our expectations. Completely worth the money we paid for everything!

Family vacation

Our family of 15 (kids/adults) stayed for one week; there was a lot of space for everyone to spread out both inside and outside. chef Daniel was amazing - the food and drinks was the highlight of everyone’s trip! We enjoyed a couple of evenings with plated dinner service and all other the food was hot and ready for us to enjoy at our leisure. Lucinda was so helpful with everything- such a wonderful smile! Yolanda assisted us with organizing transportation to and from the airport, meal planning and learning the area where we stayed. The local bus picks up and drops off right at the door, perfect for a quick trip into PV or catching an excursion. The home is wonderful and the beds comfortable. The only negative is there no ability to walk anywhere - no sidewalks and the roads are extremely narrow. We would stay at this home again- no question. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

best staff ever! beautiful home!

our stay at Grandia, near Boca de tomatlan just 45 minutes south of the airport, it was incredible. Even the preparation and check in process with Jennifer, was great. Her responsiveness was on point, and I already knew this was going to work out well. She connected me to an on-site manager to develop an itinerary for me and my family, celebrating my wife’s 30th birthday. via WhatsApp and email, we were able to coordinate things, and it went beautifully! The staff taking care of the home, led by Chef Danny, who is truly a world-class chef, we’re great. They were kind, helpful, never intrusive, and just provided the best service you could ask for. We certainly recommend a stay here for a large group of people anytime!

great stay

We had a wonderful stay. The villa is huge. Bedrooms are enormous with large balconies offering beautiful, but partially obstructed, ocean views. Internet was excellent. TV only has ROKU access with spanish language programming. Despite what property manager said, kitchen was fully stocked with spices and condiments. The chef and housekeeper were awesome, although Lucia (housekeeper) only has a very basic understanding of English. She did our laundry on the last day without us even asking! We bought our own groceries. Best to purchase them in PV, as options are very limited in Boca, the nearby town. Don't plan on walking anywhere as the main road is very busy and has no shoulder or sidewalk. Bus service is good. Uber from airport was only 25. Both owner and property manager were very responsive to questions.

FIVE STAR, then HURRICANE LIDIA

It was a wonderful vacation for our family of 11 from Friday until Tuesday night.....The Villa has spectacular views, lots of space for all to spread out and enjoy. The pool and outdoor area was perfect. The staff was helpful and constantly communicating with us. The house was always clean, the margaritas and other special cocktails were always available...made wonderfully by Remi. And Chef Daniel is second to no one. His creations were masterful....any "foodie" would be very impressed. Jennifer was awesome....my 94 old mother wanted to rent the house, but needed a handrail installed to get to the kitchen and dining room. Jennifer made that happen, 5 star all the way around!! AND THEN LIDIA HIT. Our family can now say we survived an almost direct hit from a CAT 4 (it was probably a 2 when it hit). We had to leave the next day...no power, warm water, food and a lot of water in the Villa. Jennifer urged us to get out quickly, and thankfully we did. The road was open briefly and, then a landslide that closed the road....probably for days. Thanks to Jennifer for being in constant communication with me to make sure we all got our safely! A tale of two vacations, and certainly a memorable trip for us all.

50 wedding anniversary

We loved our vacation! The property was perfect for needs. Having the bus outside the door was very convenient. Chef Daniel made magnificent meals.. his mahi-mahi and mix grills dinners were big hits! He definitely catered for our wish for authentic Mexican fare. There were only 4 lounge chairs poolside. A few more would have been nice.

Wonderful Vacation

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Casa Gran Dia, the house staff were wonderful; Daniel the chef prepared some delicious and varied meals for us, Remi made the best margaritas and Yemi was an angel cleaning up after us! If you travel by taxi or Uber to the house, it is hidden from the main road and isn't that easy to find but it on the right hand side of the road coming from the airport not long after the Oxxo. We did plenty of exploring whilst we were at the house and would highly recommend taking the water taxi/boat across to some of the beaches e.g. Las Animas. It is a bit of a strenuous walk down to the fishing village so wear sensible footwear just in case. If you want to get around when you are there by taxi, we would recommend using Victor for large groups, his number should be in the notebook at the house. His rates are very reasonable and you can easily coordinate with him via WhatsApp. Jennifer is a great host that really strives to provide top notch service for all her guests, if you have any issues at all she jumps on it straight away and gets the right people to contact you.

Absolutely Fabulous

This is a beautiful property that sits up on a hill and overlooks the water on the south side of Puerto Vallarta. The home is meticulously cared for by an amazing staff who are so attentive to every detail. The house is large and very roomy for a large group with lots of rooms, beds and bathrooms. The owners and hosts were very responsive and very proactive in arranging all of our needs ahead of time and in constant communication about our logistics (meals, transportation etc) throughout our stay. Truly amazing people. Finally to everyone who we worked with on this trip - from our van drivers, our boat captains, our masseuses and even the COVID test company that came to the house to provide our tests (airline requirement) prior to our departure - all were so kind, punctual and accommodating. Finally to our chef Dany. Omg! He was just spectacular. Daily breakfast with something different each day. Beautifully crafted appetizer displays. Wood fired grill one afternoon - amazing. Fresh margaritas - delish!!! 5 stars all the way around

I have traveled extensively to Asia, Europe, South America and Mexico. I purchased the Villa in Vallarta with the intention of eventually moving here after retiring. The people of Mexico have opened their arms and the experience has been amazing. To the millions of visitors all over the world, I invite you to visit the Beautiful Villa and enjoy the hospitality of the staff, great food, beautiful coastline, and friendly people. Amazing ocean and jungle views from every room in the Villa with Wine Food and Sunsets of Bandera Bay with the tropical forest sounds of night. I invite you to get lost in the amazing views and take advantage of the Villa and enjoy it as much as we have. Enjoy your travels and I look forward to seeing you soon.

Boca De Tomatlan and its' tiny fishing village is only 1.5 miles south. On the shore is a local family-owned restaurant offering fresh fish, salsa and fresh guacamole

Our property manager will coordinate meals, excursions, and events. Staff will clean daily and are available for your entire stay at no additional charge. Yolanda is bilingual and will be available 24/7 if needed. A chef will prepare breakfast and lunch

Guests are responsible for all costs for groceries and alcohol. We provide fresh distilled water at no cost. The chef and staff are very flexible please let Yolanda and the chef know what you would like daily.

Casa Gran Dia is completely private which many villas cannot offer. Beautifully landscaped yard has a fully heated pool, a 500+ square foot covered patio, a covered outdoor bar and a poolside covered pergola with plenty of seating.
