Frente al mar, dos habitaciones, tres baños completos, perfectamente ubicado a solo unas pocas cuadras de The Pier Village. Tiene vista al mar desde la sala, el comedor y la cocina. El porche se extiende al lado del océano con mecedoras y sillas para relajarse y disfrutar de su vista de Jekyll y el Océano Atlántico. Hay dos chimeneas a gas que solo se encienden de enero a marzo. Quick 4 day trip

Carol's Grey Side Pent House is amazing and beautiful, right on the water. The views off the balcony are beyond fantastic. Going in Sept. was ideal as there were very few people on the beach. Very quiet and peaceful. Of all our rentals over the years at the beach, this Pent House was by far the BEST. Also, so close to all things--shops, restaurants, etc. We will definitely recommend the house to our family and friends. Our favorite restaurant was the Barrier Island Brewery. Be sure to go there and get the beer cheese/pretzel appetizer. I had their steak sandwich and it was wonderful. Great service also. We were not impressed with Brogen's food. Slow service and dry burgers. The Porch was OK food if you like a huge fried chicken on a bun. The breakfast place, Fly In, Fly Out wasn't worth the money. The eggs were "fake" eggs. Only thing good there was the bacon.

Best Vacation Ever - Every Year

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family has been vacationing here since 2006. At high tide we are 20’ from the Atlantic Ocean - southern view. The weather is very consistent with the time and month we can plan and count on. This is perhaps the most solidly built structure on the island. Annual maintenance on the building and private floor elevators assures us of a very secure stay. Maid Service is performs an impeccable job between renters. The third floor Pent House is a beautifully decorated upscale beach front home with antiques, artwork and furnishings just made for entertaining or a very private quality of living. A spacious covered deck surrounds the south and east side of the PH and comes with cushioned chairs, rockers and wood benches for those who want to see the sunrise in the am and sunset in the pm. The kitchen has every amenity imaginable. Not withstanding home cooking, some of the island’s finest dining is within a few blocks from an 8:00 am breakfast of bagels & lox served with a Bloody Mary (don’t ask for spicy hot) to an early evening piano bar seafood Resturaunt that presents fish and meat dishes made famous around the world. And of course Brogans is still on the lighthouse park to serve a beach front quickie of burgers and fries. Parking on the ground floor of Carol’s Greyside PH accommodates six vehicles under the building. The management staff at Golden Isle Realty has answers for any question and 24hr service for any mechanical requirements.

Clean, comfortable and well maintained with private WiFi and elevator serving Pent House only. Furnishings and amenities fit for a King. Parking garage 10’ from the elevator and beach entry literally as you step outside. The kitchen is complete for any cuisine. A fireplace in the living room accommodates the occasional early morning and stormy day chills. Three blocks of Oceanside walking to am breakfast or pm fine dining. Wonderful place - we will be back.

Grey Side review

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the pent house, location, ease of arrival. Only issue we had was when we arrived late Sunday afternoon and went into the pent house, it seemed fairly clean. There were a few things that seemed off, but having not stayed there we just weren't sure. Ex. kitchen garbage was not empty. Used soap bars were in the showers and on bathroom counter, and the beds were made but not quite like they should be. There were no towels in bathrooms, but we found them later in closet. It wasn't until the next morning when the cleaning lady showed up that we knew it had not been cleaned. In fact, we slept in an unclean bed!!!!! Covid???? Seriously. We had to tell her to come back, because we weren't even dressed, yet. I probably could have over looked it, and actually did in that I was nice about it, but when I stopped by the rental office to make sure it would be cleaned that day, the young girl showed no remorse, except to pretty much say, "Sorry about that." I know things can get mixed up some times, and it did not affect our over all stay, but I just felt like during this time of a pandemic, that a little more concern shown would have been warranted. Once everything was cleaned, the place is fabulous and we really did love staying there.
