Marlin Bay resort

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was wonderful. Comfortable home. Some minor issues in the home. The toilet bowl in the power room on the second floor does not fill enough. The flushing handles on first and second floor are hard to use especially with arthritic hands. The outlet in the garage for the fish freezer trips frequently spoiling whatever is in there.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived at the unit the garage door failed to open delaying access until maintenance arrived to open the door. It failed again and was left open the rest of the stay!! We noticed small things that have changed in a negative way since previous stay.

Fantastic low key luxury resort home in the keys

Beautiful homes surround a serene pool at this resort. There is a mix of families coming is in their beautiful yachts to use the Marina and families coming by land to stay in the homes. I loved how every home was a little but unique. Fun to walk the docks. My kids loved using the provided fish food at the end of the pier to feed the school of large parrot fish. We were disappointed that the kayaks and SUPs never seemed to be available because it was too windy but once I called and was told there was too much sea weed. We were there on a very windy week though. Marathon was a good midpoint to explore the keys. We went to Key West, key Largo and Everglades NP days trips. Having Publix supermarket close by was very convenient. My family also enjoyed the Turtle Hospital and Crane Point Hammock Park which are both very close to resort. All in all, a wonderful week.

The Turtle Hospital is just wonderful and the Publix is super convenient. :) Sorry to hear it was too windy for the Kayaks and Paddle boards. Maybe next time! Thank you for the great review. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay with us.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We entered a drawing at the Ft.Lauderdale boat show and won a free weekend stay at this amazing resort. It was very quite and not much going on at the resort, but I think that the covid -19 had a lot to do with it, but other than that it was a fantastic place to stay.
