We had the best time! Our condo was clean, the view was AMAZING and its location is not bad. Right across from a Winn Dixie which was very convenient. The kids enjoyed the pool and our room overlooked the pool while still having the oceanfront view. We will definitely stay here again!

We really like the condo, the location and the amenities. We had ease of checking in and Jamie and Kim took care of all our needs. We had plenty of towels and enjoyed the large balcony. The large fridge/freezer was great also. We were surprised at how stained the couch was but dealt with it. The frying pans in the kitchen had baked on places and they were hard to cook with but we managed. Otherwise, we were very happy and had a blast during our stay.

Overall very good stay, wide parking spots in the garage, ocean front, right across from grocery store.My only issue is not the condo itself - quiet hours and hot tub/pool closes at 11pm. Had some people playing music in the hot tub after that time, but that cannot be helped unless you have security.

The rooms were good size, balcony was awesome. Easy access to the Beach and pool was nice. Condo needed some upgrades and general repair and cleaning.

Family Vacation

We had a great time. The view was amazing, the balcony is the perfect location for morning coffee. The beds were comfortable. The rubber crab in the bathroom was the highlight of the trip. The kids played pranks on everyone with it, the crab sure made its way around the condo.

Condo beautifully decorated. Beds very comfortable. Large. Well stocked kitchen. Shear curtains in living room allowed too much afternoon sun. It was uncomfortable in evening. No where was I told that during my week, I would not be allowed to purchase a parking pass. I received tow warning on my granddaughters car on Monday. Luckily we were able to park across street

Awesome location on the beach

Easy to get to the beach, very short walk with beach access right from the complex. Can’t beat The view from the balcony. Grocery store right across the street made it easy. You will need to bring your own beach towels, toys, garbage bags and dish soap.

The property was great. My family enjoyed it very much.

The dryer had a load of towels in it when we arrived. :( They had to be dried again and again. The dryer was not working well at all and it took forever to do a load. :( It really took away my fun time at the beach with my family. :( :( New one arrived and installed two days before we left.:)

Amazing View..Amazing Location ..... Room...NOT :(

Aqua Vista is for me the perfect location , perfect view, close to pretty much anything we like to do in Panama City and have always enjoyed our stay at Aqua Vista .. This was our first year staying in the room and lets just say will be our last.... floors was beyond sticky/dirty, TV's worked 2 days then would never connect to WiFi, bedrooms has no curtains had to put garbage bags over them so the kids could sleep due to the lights in the hallway, Owners response to our problems was ZERO response , stove top was nasty with dried food on it , ceiling was dust covered and black from vents, plugs didnt work in 2 bedrooms, took 2 people to open and shut the patio doors from the rust and broken handles , Just a miserable experience on this room, we have been going to Aqua Vista for 20 years and always had great clean service and rooms but this 3 bedroom unit was more like a $49 a night dive off the interstate

Great Location, Gorgeous Balcony View, Priced Well

Condo was as expected, I had read a lot of negative reviews due to the remodeling on the complex & traffic change from new Round about Placement. We had no issues with traffic, actually in a great location ! We were in the East Building - Left Side of property facing the road so it seemed most of the remodeling that would cause noise was completed. No issues with that. The kitchen was small but the living area had plenty of room & dining. The large mirror shown in the dining area has a large nautical rope for decor but it was literally taped with masking tape to stay on. Not a deal breaker but cheesy, if you’re picky this would bother you more than us. Plenty of sleeping room, We had 6 adults, 2 Preteens & a 6 month old. Balcony was awesome with corner view of pool/Ocean is amazing. The pool & hot tub have been updated, only issue was the bathrooms by the pool have a pass code and the men’s was broken for one of the numbers so it was hard to get into. Easy access to pool & ocean ! I had done a few reviews of the property and thought we had access to the Gym for my son who works out daily. They don’t advertise that on VRBO but do on the AquaVista website. It’s only available to owners ! Just a heads up ! Management was easily contacted by txt and quick response. We were exhausted and had a 6 month old, they were able to get us into the condo 2 hours early. Biggest complaint for us would be not enough bath towels for the number of us. Overall good property for cost !

The beach was great this condo not so much.

This condo could be very nice, but it has ALOT of things that need to be done. Starting with getting a new place to manage this condo & then new cleaning crew. It was not filthy but it wasn’t clean either. Floors haven’t been cleaned in a long time, things under furniture from the guest before, dishes that had not been washed or the dishwasher didn’t get them clean & they put them up anyway. Broken sliding glass door, thermostat not working properly & said the owner didn’t want to change it because they didn’t know how to remotely control a new one. Will have to say the guy that came to service the air the 2nd time after it kept freezing up all week was really nice & changed the thermostat anyway, said that was the reason it was freezing up. (It didn’t freeze up anymore) The lock on the front door kept locking us out & when they came to check on it we weren’t doing it right. One last thing, in the description it says you get 2 parking passes but that isn’t true, AquaVista only gives 1 parking pass to each unit. That would’ve been good to know because part of our party was staying 2 weeks & we were only staying 1. (Didn’t find out until it was to late to cancel) You can use public parking that’s like 5 miles away. Winn-Dixie across the street has signs saying if you park there you will be towed. I would just look for a different condo if your looking to stay at Panama City Beach. I would not rent anything from Panhandle Getaways. AquaVista is great but call them directly. Happy vacationing.

Scary elevator

The elevator shakes a lot, and they advertised a gym ( that is not open for the rentals, just for owners, sauna as well) they offer$25 gift cards for Dave and Busters per day you stay but I got nothing 🤷‍♀️So what is advertised is not accurate at all. The vanity bathroom drawers are broken but besides that everything was ok 😀

Thank you for the review. As advertised, the rental of this unit does come with free activities, including a $25 gift card to Dave & Busters each day of your stay. We send out emails to help you get your free activities set up with our concierge partners, and you can also reach out to us if you have any questions about claiming your credit. While we aren't involved in the elevator operations, we will pass your feedback along to the HOA.

AQUAVISTA Great Place to vacation- just needs a little work

The condo was nice and even though the cleaner was cleaning until 420 after check in at 4 , that was alright.. The owner needs to have the condo deep cleaned. Lots dust and grim on doors and walls and many holes in walls that need to be fixed. We own rentals and understand--but many people out there would not like the lack of cleanliness.. I do realize right now things cost more--but, at over 500 dollars a night we would expect a little cleaner.. We still had a fantastic time.... Thank You

Will never stay again here

First things first. Our refrigerator did not work the whole first day that we were there. The First Lady told me it was because they turn them off in between people who stay so it takes a minute to cool down and that it would be fine in 4 hours. We went down to the beach and pool for a few hours and came back and all of our stuff that was cold from the grocery store was now hot. We had to put everything in the freezer for it to stay good. I called back and the man on the phone told me maintenance had left already and to give it more time. Not acceptable at all. My husband ended up having to fix the refrigerator. Then the next day our AC went out. Opened the closet to the unit and it looked like the filter hadn’t been changed in years. The unit was froze up. I called and they had me send pictures of the unit and told me to turn it off. After sitting at the beach all day being in a hot condo that we paid thousands for was not ideal. Once again my husband had to fix this issue also. Our dryer took 3 hours to dry a very small load of towels. The closet doors in the bed rooms wouldn’t stay open. Internet didn’t work. Tv in one of the bedrooms didn’t work. Not a good experience at all. We spent a lot of money for a place to stay to relax from work and my husband had to work the whole time for the condo to stay in to even be remotely tolerable.
