The property manager, Sherri & her colleagues (Tommy & ?) were attentive, friendly & professional. Our Property Management Company (Select Vacation) were terrific and attentive, specifically when we mentioned the broken umbrella and lack of chairs. They allowed me to replace umbrella and reimbursed me along with them adding 4 new beach chairs.

Lovely rental

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was nice to stay in a place that allowed our dog and was a short walking distance to the Gulf. The condo was clean with privacy views from the back windows. The condo could use a few easy to fix areas. The top of the kitchen table was sticky so everything we placed on it stuck. It was necessary for us to go out and purchase a tablecloth. Two of the kitchen chairs were not safe to sit in. One was missing a support run and one was broken on the top side of the leg. Shower head in the guest bathroom was blocked by lime. carpets needed to be cleaned as well as the couch and loveseat. Hole in Lanai screen. Dishwasher racks were rusted. The smoke alarm went off every time we were cooking in the kitchen. Even when we were making toast or preheating the oven. That was frustrating. With that being said it was not enough to deter us from renting this condo again next year. We look forward to staying in this condo at the Island Beach Club next year. We met wonderful people and the area was quiet. Loved the pool, grill and of course the beach.

Sanibel Island

The trip was great, even through a tropical storm! The condo was clean and tidy and smelled great! I was happy to find a pet friendly condo that didn’t look or smell pet friendly! Room location was top floor with parking undercover. We had a storage room in front of our car where we kept our bikes and golf clubs for the week. We would love to come back to this property! Thank you for a relaxing visit.

Excellent condo, great property and location

Condo was clean and exactly as described. Very nice screened balcony, and nice island view from front door landing. Express check-in was painless. Great location for bike riding, area beaches and shops, and nature trails. Quick walk to beach. Pool area and grounds were very nice and uncrowded. Covered parking and storage shed for bikes and beach gear were great features. Would stay here again!

Top floor unit but the elevator was at the opposite end of the building. Exercise for us but would be difficult for the elderly. Ice maker did not work. Selection of glassware was spotty. One beach chair was broken. Overall unit was outdated which did not bother us but may for others.

Another incredible stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love this place, and stay every year. It's a friendly mix of residents and folks on vacation. Dog-friendly. Easy walk to the beach, which is a beautiful and pretty quiet stretch that seems almost private to the Island Beach Club. Easy access to Bailey's by car, bike, or even on foot on a nice day. Select Vacation Properties are friendly and efficient and better than other agencies we've used in the personal touches. The air conditioning can be a bit loud, but with a small amount of planning you can cool the place before TV watching, then turn it up and have no problems. Higher off the ground, we've never had any problems on the screened deck with no-see-ums or the like.

2021 teacher break from school on Sanibel

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family stayed at Island Beach Club #P1A the first full week of April. Although the room did not have a view of the water, it worked out well for our family. The overall complex property was clean and well taken care of. it was very quiet. The 2 outside gas grills are newer and large - I never had to wait to use one. The unit itself was very spacious. The master bedroom with the walk in closet area could easily have been 2 bedrooms. The living room area and screened in patio area was also very spacious. It was an easy 5 minute walk to the beach. The unit was on the top floor at the end of the building on the opposite of the elevator which was inconvenient for unloading and loading our stuff for the week, but it was ideal for our dog as we had virtually no traffic going past our room. The only 2 issues we had were the key that was left for us to unlock the storage area downstairs by our parking space did not fit the lock. The rental company was quick to get us a key the next day but there weren't many items we could use in there. One beach chair and one beach float were usable. We had brought all the items we needed anyway. The other minor issue was we had hoped to get in before 4 but the cleaning service wasn't quite done by 4. The unit says it is fogged after each use, but we were there at noon before the cleaning service had arrived so I am not sure how that could have been done. Those 2 items were minor. We had a great stay and Nadia at Select Vacation Properties was terrific to work with. We would definitely stay at this unit again.

Like many rentals, it could use a little "tender loving care", like new outlets, some minor updates (countertops in kitchen), etc. Overall a good unit, great location, excellent access to beach. Be warned - the air conditioning is LOUD LOUD LOUD. Not sure there is much that can be done about it.

Great property for a beach getaway !

The location of the property made it easy and quick to get anywhere on the island. Walking to the beach was a quick 2 minutes thru the property. We will be back - next time we will rent bikes for the week

Between southern hospitality and comfort you’ll find the island rentals. We were a 2 minute walk to the beach through our resort and had the luxury of a pool during high tide hours. Paradise for humans and dogs alike

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There are fewer places that take dogs on Sanibel, so to feel like you aren’t just settling is wonderful. The place is comfortable, and we like the corner unit patio shaded by trees adding more privacy. Comfortable and mostly quiet unit (the air conditioner is a bit loud if you are in the living room, but for us that was minor). A good kitchen for vacation needs. Beach chairs and umbrellas provided. Avery short and pleasant walk to the gorgeous beach, which is a quiet spot between the two larger resorts on either side. The place was built in the 70s and occasionally feels like it, but we’ve already booked the unit for next year for an even longer stay so if that isn’t a recommendation I don’t know what is.

It was only a short walk to the beach or pool from any of the units. The atmosphere was very family friendly from the staff to the residents who lived there.
