The condo was lovely. It had everything necessary for an enjoyable getaway. Located in a beautiful complex, walking distance to many fun places we always felt safe and comfortable. I also appreciated that the coastal vibe was conveyed with color,texture and finishes rather than a lot of beachy tchotchkes. We had a wonderful visit!

Good view from balcony, comfortable bed, good kitchen facilities. Not very clean, especially bathroom and kitchen, beach chairs were very rusted and dirty, AC did not keep up with the bedroom at all, there is a very musty, mildewey, dank odor throughout. Other than that, it was ok.

Room was as pictures on VRBOBasic cleaning of rentals. Towels were typical of rentals. Bring your own if you are more pickyUnits all have an indoor air conditioner unit and outdoor unit, which when running are loud. Unit next door had a larger air conditioner on balcony, which is very loud. When we were there it ran 24/7. So when on balcony was noisy.

We thought the condo was nice and in a great location. The bedroom did smell very musty to me. Suggestion for hooks in the bathroom and bedroom to hang townsend, clo.

Nice location.

We enjoyed our stay even though the condo was smaller than a 1 bedroom condo in Seaside Villas II. There was no top sheet on the bed, but we got one from the sheets meant for the sofa bed. There was very little storage space for clothes and no hairdryer. The view of the ocean was very nice.

Overall the property was small, but it was perfect for the two of us. The bathroom bluetooth was everything. I absolutely loved it that feature. I didn't like the bed it needs a new mattress and the headboard needs to be tighten. I also didn't like the bed being at the door, however that's a design issue. I loved how close it was to the beach also. Not a bad stay at all.

Thank you for your review, it was discovered a previous renter broke the bed frame and that was causing the impression of the mattress. The frame has been replaced and the issue has been resolved for future renters.

Could have been better

Beautiful beach-nicely decorated unit. Unfortunately water from bathroom faucet a small stream-insufficient for brushing teeth, washing face or hands. Kitchen sink without hot water. View of beach was from an angle. Initial arrival at gate very confusing (other families arriving had same dilemma).

Thank you for your review. The water flow was part of the design of the eco friendly designed faucet. The limit of flow was excessive in its design, so we have completely replaced the faucet with one that does not have the eco friendly water saving feature. This issue was resolved right after the stay. Gate arrival details are provided in the welcome letter but since this stay, the HOA has finally approved a code operated system for the gate and this should add clarity for any renters who arrive.

Spring break getaway.

It’s a great place for couples. The bed is in the entrance beside the villas hallway, kind of an odd design. The view is awesome especially in the morning with the sun facing the living room. They installed a new refrigerator while we were there (funny story) that makes it a little tight using the stove top. We usually eat in quite a bit, but went out a lot this trip so it wasn’t a issue. The beach is beautiful, can’t comment on the pool it was a little cold when we were there. This was our first trip to Hilton Head, there are more than plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Lots of bicycles everywhere.

Quiet condo

Quiet 1 bedroom condo in a great location. Smaller than expected condo but was nice and comfortable. Bed was comfortable, bathroom and kitchen were totally updated and nice. Only downsides were no water pressure in the bathroom sink, just a trickle of water. The thermostat didn't cool in the bedroom so it was hot even with a ceiling fan. The patio sliding door didn't lock either. It would have been nice to have had some coffee stocked in the kitchen for the keurig. Otherwise the condo was clean, quiet and an easy walk to the beach. Great for a short stay!

Would not recommend

When not in communication with the owner our stay was great. When we checked into the vrbo it very dirty, there was poop in the toilet for reference. It was very unfortunate. The owner happened to have another vrbo that was not rented for that night, thankfully we were able to stay in. The owner was not very accommodating as far as customer service so we were required to move our things back and forth between the vrbo.

This review is misleading. what had occurred upon checkin was that the unit they had booked was not ready upon arrival due to an issue with the cleaning company being delayed so we provided them the same unit, size, layout, view and finishes down the hall and refunded them the cost of that night for any inconvenience from not checking into the unit they originally booked. They then moved into the original unit the next day. The renter then tried to get additional funds beyond the free night they were already provided and were denied. We were extremely accommodating, available and responsive during the entire process.

Good location but property needs cleaning

Every place is different. But we left mid-way our stay due to reasons noted below. The good: location (near beach), communication/instructions, and relative ease of check-in process. The bad: cleanliness. Literally no dusting or washed bedding (with several unmistakable spots). Wipe anything and find dust. The sliding door did not lock at all. The hallway of the building leading to the room smelled like pee. The sink faucet was literally a drip no matter how much you opened.

Beautiful condo right on beach

We abosolutley loved the condo and the location. We walked to Coligney park. Everything was updated. Our favorite part of the condo was the updated bathroom with mood lighting and blue tooth phone connection to play music. So Nice! Very nice porch/balcony furniture, and great view. Super easy access to beach. Condo included 4 beach chair but we brought ours anyhow; but nice option. Plenty of towels for the 3 of us. Nice welcome basket with lots of essentials. Condo was very clean and the check in@out process was super smooth. Read the emails from owner before your stay entirely with all attachments. The only negative thing I will say about our stay and this condo was when I booked it was My husband and I and daughter who is 20. Condo said 1 bed troom with Queen and a pull out queen couch in living room. The first night I went to setup bed and pull out. bed was completely broken. It leaned back and if you tried to sit on bed the whole couch lifted up in the back and you still were sloping down toward the couch with your feet elevated highter then head. Thank god they had a single roll away bed in closet with sheets and everything;but If I would have had 4 adults like the condo said it could hold we would have had a major problem. The couch needs replaced with another sofa bed couch. Period. The other furniture was great, bed very comfortable. Loved the layout of everything. We would totally stay here again and are thinking about coming back next year.

Honest Review

It was our first time visiting Hilton Head Island. Admittedly the dimensions are listed, however the condo felt much smaller than we anticipated. We booked our 10-day stay thinking it would be nice to hang out inside on some days. My husband was planning to work a little as well. Unfortunately there was no room for a work space. I am sensitive to smells and the bedroom was overwhelmingly musty. The sheets were too small for the bed and just were not comfortable. There was easy access to the beach as well as walking distance to restaurants and shops, which was nice. For the money, it was not bad but next time we will spend more for a newer, larger place.

Hilton stay

The beach was beautiful with a nice boardwalk out to it. The exterior of the property was decently maintained and most things were very conveniently located. Proximity to most of the island's main spots was nice too. Our biggest gripe was housekeeping. Whoever takes care of that does not do well especially removing dust and dirt from shelves, picture frames, fans and ledges...it hadn't been done in some time. And there were some dirty fingerprints on the wall. I communicated this to the owner and he is checking into it. The condo was very nice and updated with some great features like ceiling fans with remotes and a fan in the bathroom that has Bluetooth speakers in it. (Great for singing in the shower) LOL All in all a good stay, I would not be afraid to rent here, Jim is a great owner 100%!

Great for the most part

My family had a great time at this rental. It was very close to the beach and close to pretty much everything you would want in a beach trip. It was clean as well. There were minor annoyances such as the sinks not getting hot, the water pressure in the bathroom sink very low, comforter stored in a pile in the corner, and bed is not very comfortable, but overall we had a great trip. Jim was also very responsive to any issues we had as well.

Faucet was a Eco Friendly faucet that limited the flow of water. This has been replaced with a faucet that does not have that feature. The issue with the bed was discovered to be a renter broke the bed frame. We have replaced the bed frame and this issue has been resolved.

Beautiful Beach!

The location at Hilton Head was accessible to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Unfortunately, the bed was very old and came to a V thereby not letting us sleep. Also, there was not enough hot water to take two showers.

The bed was brand new and the mattress was a $1,000 so was a good quality. The issue we discovered is a previous renter broke the bed frame so once discovered we replaced the bed frame and the issue is now resolved. We have not had any reported issues with hot water, there could have been temporary maintenance occurring during the time of your stay going on within the building.
