Good Experience

Good experience. Clean, well maintained and not hard to find. Good parking in back - it would be helpful if the house number was also shown on the back door to help with finding the right property. Contact with the property manager was outstanding and very useful.

Good price, but tight parking and some rough roads.

Good home easily located for a quick trip downtown. Parking in rear is nice but getting there is a tight alley with some large potholes. Not for a large truck or low clearance car…we had both so we just parked in the front. Other than that great place to stay.

Cute house

The house itself and the host were great. The only negative we had was the alley to get to the backyard where the parking spot is. It was very uneven and tight. It was pretty difficult to get our honda crv in and out. The water pressure of the shower was not great. Overall it was a good stay.

Chiefs game

Went for the chiefs game. Had a blast. Came back to a clean comfy bed. Just as advertised. Parking lot and navigating the back alley was a little rough as far as terrain goes but it was doable. Was able to get to the stadium in 25 minutes in pretty thick traffic. Hopefully we will be back soon for another game. Go Chiefs!!!!

Good location/affordable

This property worked out great! Everything was as listed, only issue to me is Andrew was somewhat rude and didn’t seem to believe me that the batteries were dead for the overall system and the thermostat. When you book and check out he’s very nice! When you bring up a small issue that’s when the response becomes a little unprofessional! Still a decent spot to stay. Just was very cold and if the batteries are dead how often do this place get checked on hmmm.. btw Andrew I know what a thermostat is lol you need to work on your communication skills and that will go a long way!

In town for the weekend

The property was great, just what we needed for a weekend. Just a short drive to GEHA field and a short walk to some restaurants. Property was easy to find and was recently updated. We would stay here again if in town.

House was ok, host was not so much

House was ok, not great. Parking was horrible. Had to take trash out from prior tenants which tells me what they did to actually clean the place. We aren’t overly picky, but whatever. Now’s where the problem comes in. Dryer doesn’t work. It is what it is I guess. Then in the middle of our stay, which I had to work during I will add, the host starts calling and texting non stop about a “w/d” that was supposedly getting delivered in 15-30 minutes. Apparently I didn’t respond fast enough to if we were home or not, to let him know if I would let some random people in otherwise he would from wherever in the country he was from (way out of state phone number) so he literally kept texting and calling. After all this harassment, and me telling him I was not comfortable with strangers being in there when we weren’t, but it was fine if he let them in. They never delivered it. Informed him the next day and he’s like oh yeah I tried calling them to see when they would come and they were supposed to be here 4 tenants ago. Last I checked no delivery company claims they are 15 minutes out and doesn’t show. I think he was just messing with us to make us think he isn’t a slum lord. Honestly if he hadn’t harassed me so much to respond to him I would have let everything go, but that’s the final straw for me. Stay at your own risk. Honestly we wish we would have just stayed at hotel instead.

Cozy House Near Many Downtown Attractions

The quaint house offers stylish modern decor, is well stocked with necessities and good working updated appliances, was clean. The back parking area was convenient.

This property held no surprises. The description and pictures are 100% accurate. Check in was seamless. Everything we wanted to do was within a reasonable short drive. We had a great time and would book again for another KC trip!

Book club getaway

I represent four adult women on a getaway for our book club. Are vacation was intended to include a little bit of shopping local eats and time together to relax. All of that was accomplished beyond our expectations. The location was perfect to explore local food and culture as well as unique shopping. We looked forward to coming back home in a comfortable place to just talk and enjoy each other's company. It is acquaint small home with lots of character. It has everything you need.

Pretty place but it might fool ya

I loved the interior of the place very gorgeous and roomy, had a good tv system and amenities. There was only two major issues, it was SO cold in that house, we did everything to try and fix it the owner even brought batteries to help but still nothing. It was kept at 55 degrees pretty much since I got there from when we left in the morning. There wasn’t a friend of mine that wasn’t complaining. The thermostat was completely dead, so was the furnace and the batteries didn’t do anything. Even the fireplace didn’t work, we had to go out of our way to go get a portable heater and bring it to the place just to be able to sleep.

Strawberry Hill Kansas City

The house was awesome, and we enjoyed our stay it was near restaurants, and close to the major highways to easily get downtown. The neighborhood was quiet. The host was excellent on communications and reached back out as soon as we texted for questions. Definitely would rent this place again if I needed to.

Looks can be deceiving

Nice place, however, they failed to include how many of the houses surrounding it were run down. There is an alley way to get to the rear for parking. They failed to mention the condition of the road. Numerous potholes, narrow, and overgrown with tree branches. We have a large SUV and we had a difficult time maneuvering into the driveway.

K.C. City Cottage

Awesome

An awesome property for a very affordable price. It was really close to everywhere we wanted to go, and it was clean when we checked in. The pictures online matched up exactly with how it actually looked. In fact, it was more spacious than I expected. Other than the couch being uncomfortable, I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this property. I highly recommend it.
