We had a group of ladies staying for a friends' long weekend. We were amazed at the amount of space once we got inside. The kitchen is impressive. We played games at the large dining room table. Everyone had a comfortable bed. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Island bliss for the whole family

Reviewer Comments: I’ve been visiting St. Simons since I was a child and after many years away, I decided it was time to gather my extended family there once again to keep theory tradition alive. We loved Harbor Light for its thoughtful interior design: good separation between activity spaces, clever loft sleeping area arrangement and giant kitchen island for the whole family to gather around. It was great to be a quick walk from the beach on a quiet street with plenty of parking. The next time we return, Island Bliss will be at the top of my list.

East Beach House

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was so well appointed, clean and ideally located close to the beach. I had limited mobility, so the first floor was perfect for me to move around. We will return next year for a couple weeks.

Great stay at the Harbor Light

We had a great stay over the Memorial Day weekend, the location was fantastic and the redo of the kitchen space was very nicely done. House was well stocked in the kitchen, had nice beach equipment (Bikes) and plenty of fun games and puzzles. We did have internet issues but the company did quickly bring us a hot spot to get us through the long weekend. The history of the house and family is really cool, so spend some time in the office learning about St. Simons, the house, and the great family.

Girls trip!

Moms/daughters/cousins 2nd annual girls trip. We enjoyed the beautiful home, no words for the kitchen renovation!!!! Home had everything we needed. We enjoyed the shops, local eateries, walks to the beach, the lighthouse and even lucked out and we're able to attend the Shrimp and Grits festival in Jekyll Island.

A cozy home away from home

We really loved this property! The house was a sweet bungalow in a great quiet neighborhood. We loved: the renovated kitchen the upstairs bedroom the proximity to the beach the quite neighborhood, private feel the new, clean bathrooms It was a perfect place for our family of 6 (4 teens/tweens) to enjoy fall break from school!

Great family weekend!

We had a wonderful time. Check in was smooth. We loved the willingness of the staff to share the map of the island and recommend restaurants. The house was very well appointed & comfortable. We spent so much time eating, laughing and playing games around the massive kitchen island.

Pictures don't do it justice!

This property is much nicer and larger than the pictures give it credit for! The kitchen is huge and newly remodeled. The upstairs area is great and the outside area is more useful that it appears. Location is good. We rented a golf cart and used the public parking for the beach about 3 blocks away but you can go down the 4th street access then cut over to the 3rd street access (4th isn't assessible to the beach any longer) and go to a more private area of the beach. Also 5th street is fully accessible by golf cart with parking. The Village is about a 5 minute drive so we used the golf cart for that also.

Walkable to Beach

So spacious with plenty of room and beds for 8 adults. We loved the outdoor shower, being able to walk to the beach. The front porch was great for sitting. Great house.

Perfect Home away from Home

This house was the perfect fit for bringing our boys and and our oldest son's friends. The five 17 and 18 year old guys shared the second floor bedroom, with a bed for each. We were celebrating our oldest turning 18 and spent a great night grilling and cooking before eating, sharing stories and laughing for 2 hours around the large dining room table. The beaches were very close, with great waves and sand to hang out at. I just wished we could have spent more days at this lovely house!

The house is very spacious, comfortable, clean and conveniently located. We were only a half block to a beach access. The house has all we needed from beach towels to appliances to dishes to an assortment of games, cards, and books. A great house and we'll definitely try to get it again next time we go to SSI

A well-stocked kitchen and comfortable furnishings made it seem like home, but the art and historical decor helped us fall in love with beautiful Saint Simons Island. Plenty of space on the first floor for 5 adults, but wished we had some children along to make use of the cozy bunk room upstairs! House is located in a very comfortable neighborhood for relaxing on the porch or walking around. Can't wait to come back!
