Beautiful property

The condo was beautiful and had plenty of space. Condo was very safe in a gated area and the grounds were beautiful. We loved the balcony space. Bunkbeds were actually full size bunk beds and it also had a twin trundle bed that you could pull out. The only bad thing about our stay was that housekeeping was lacking. Sheets had sand in them before we ever slept in the beds. The washer a dryer were VERY small. We could only wash 3 towels at a time.

Fun at the beach

We were a family of 7 and fit comfortably in this 3 bedroom unit. We enjoyed the space and the view....you cannot beat the location. The unit is a little tired in some ways, with extremely weak water pressure in the master bath, not enough towels in another and a refrigerator that did not keep items very cold. We did appreciate the bucket of sand toys in the closet!! Overall, we enjoyed our long weekend here.

Great stay

We have been staying in this condo for about five years and love it. The view is amazing and we love to watch the dolphins as well as the rabbits and turtles we see on the lawn. The property is beautiful and the pool is clean and never crowded. We enjoy everything about Amelia Island!

Amelia Island

Loved Amelia Island and enjoyed staying in the condo. It was a good amount of space for family. The grounds were absolutely beautiful. Due to the fast turn around needed for check in the cleanliness was not up to par.

AMAZING!

Our best Vacation ever!! Loved everything about this condo for our family! Everything was clean, and ready for us when we arrived. Only issue was top bunk was broken in 3rd bedroom, but let the property manager know about that the first night. We did a kayak tour though Amelia Island Kayak tours on one of the days, so much fun!! We will definitely be back!!

We always love Amelia! It was my birthday with 6 of my friends and we had a blast. The bed and bathroom situation was ideal. We loved the large patio off the living room. Great views! Only downside was not knowing the pool was being maintenance and drained. We made the best of it though!

Great Views Not Bang For Your Buck

This condo has spectacular views and a very quick walk to the beach. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The beach supplies, towels, and beach toys was a great touch. I was extremely disappointed in a few things. In the pictures and description that we saw before we rented, it was noted that the pool was close. When we arrived, we learned that the advertised pool was closed, and we had to drive to get to a pool. The condo had a musty smell when we came in and if you didn’t run the AC the on high it came back. The couches clearly had pets on them. My wife couldn’t even sit on them without getting itchy from the leftover allergens. There was a good amount of dust on fixtures and items across the condo. You can tell that the condo was updated in certain places (kitchen, patio, coat of paint when compared to other reviews). However, the condo needs a facelift and better upkeep especially the bathroom shower and closet doors, some were not even fully attached. Additionally, the side patio is beautiful but full of sand and no broom for us to clean it up to be able to fully enjoy it. Additionally, for what we paid, it was the most expensive condo we saw on VRBO to accommodate our family, I was really disappointed.

Great December Beach Visit

The condo, furnishings and view were all exceptional. The furnished rooftop terrace is a perfect place to watch the sunrise while drinking that first cup of coffee. Also, it was VERY clean.

A coat of paint and the running of the Children

We rented this property for a week long family Thanksgiving Trip. We regretted doing it as soon as we landed in Jacksonville. Jacqueline with Amelia Island Vacations called 2 hours before check in to tell us" They were painting the patio and we wouldnt have use of it for a day due to weather" Upon arriving in the unit we realized it wasnt a coat of paint. It was a major remodel of the patio. There was metal mesh exposed on all four sides, there was no furniture and the entire end of the unit was covered in plastic so you couldn't see outside.. We asked to be relocated, let out of our reservation or reduce the rent. They did nothing excpt send over their maintenance man Thor, who was the only positive experiece we had with the management company, to take down the plastic rope off half the patio for the week. The Patio was why we rented the unit. Jacqueline and Amelia Island Vacations didn not care. If that wasnt enough, there is a family who lives there year round above this unit that has two small children. They start running around @ 7am every morning. You cannot sleep through it.. We talked to them but every moring like clock work, you can hear loud running everday. The unit is in a great location. My advice would be to locate a unit on the top 6th floor and one not managed by Amelia Island Vacations.

Stunning views

The place is amazing. Two bedrooms have balconies overlooking the ocean. The living room has nice big windows facing the water. It was so relaxing having the ocean literally in your living room. The check-in process with the guard gate was a bit confusing as they couldn’t find our reservation. Ultimately, it was under Dunlop property management not Amelia island vacations. Just FYI in case you experience the same thing. A few of parts are in need of repair - like some of the windows don’t open/close perfectly. But overall, it really didn’t matter as the views/rooms were just outstanding. Would stay again for sure

Perfect location and views!

We absolutely loved our stay at this condo! The views were outstanding and the layout of the condo really took advantage of that. We loved having both an open sky patio and a covered one to enjoy soaking in all of that good ocean air. The walkway to the beach couldn't have been easier and it was a short walk to the outstanding pool complex as well. The condo was comfortably furnished and we didn't want to leave! Already planning another trip back to this vacation oasis!

Poor Communication and Response time with agency

Gate security had NO record of our reservation. We had to provide confirmation and information for them to put us in the system. Given wrong code for pool, twice. No access over the weekend. It was 3 days into the vacation before this was fixed. Beds were uncomfortable. One toilet was broken. Wifi only good in living room and first bedroom; back 2 bedrooms had no wifi. Will not rent under Amelia Island Vacations again.

Amazing location!

This is the third year we have stayed at this condo and it doesn't disapoint. The view is wonderful from the living area as well as two of the bedrooms. The kids love the pool and the landscaping is beautiful. The only issue out of all three years is that this year there was a lock on the thermostat and we felt like it was a bit warm but they did bring us in some box fans.

Everything was very nice except the refrigerator/freezer completely went out The property manager sent someone to check and they bought a small refrigerator but without coolers and family staying in a near by condo it was most inconvenient
