Great location to access the Chaz

Randy was very hospitable and accommodating. Smooth communication and the home is easy to find. Can launch your kayak or canoe right in the backyard. Publix is very close. Overall great stay. Would stay again.

Great family rental on canal

Randy was a great host, everything plus! provided. The kids, young & old, were out in the canoes/kayaks every day. Also very close to Chassahowitzka River campground where some family camped. Very comfortable, plenty of parking. Everyone enjoyed it.

Perfect stay-cation

We did a short stay to celebrate our sons birthday. It was perfect. We could'nt have been happier with Randy from beginning to end. From his communication, to restaurant recommendations, fishing advice, and overall just a nice, welcoming petson. We look forward to staying there again. Such a wonderful stay.

Scalloping

We had a wonderful time on our family vacation. The home was very clean and had all of the amenities to make it feel like home. The location is great for boat ramps and grocery stores. Randy met us there at check in and went above and beyond to make aure we had everything we needed.

Nature Coast Getaway

I am an avid paddler, bicycle rider and hiker so love the whole Chaz area. This house was very comfortable and located conveniently to all these things. One can launch their kayak right from the back yard and paddle to the Chaz river. Randy, the owner, is going to make this even easier! I certainly plan on renting this house for another adventure in the future.

Great location, super friendly host Randy

We really enjoyed our stay in Randy's house. The bedrooms are cozy, the kitchen and bathrooms are fully equipped/stuffed. The washer and dryer are big bonus for us as we snorkeled almost daily. Most importantly, Randy offers free Kayak/Canoe which are a BIG thing to our family - we love kayaking and see wildlife. Let alone the house is just on the river channel. Most importantly, we see many manatees and the crystal clear 7 sisters springs are just 20-30 minutes paddling away. This is the best experience I had in Homosassa while visited Wekee Wachee state park. Dave and Tracie is supper helpful, too. We had a fabulous time for a week there. We will certainly be back and would strongly recommend to anyone who likes the old Florida feel. Grace

Great River Getaway

Chaz Weekend

We enjoyed our stay. The was exactly as described so no surprises. We didn't have any issues with area as it was not our first trip to the area. However, the rental was not the right place for our pontoon boat. If you are looking for a place on the water to stay so you can dock your boat, be sure your boat is a low clearance boat as mine would not fit through the canal culvert. I definitely would stay here again with a smaller boat or just using canoe or kayak.

Great weekend

The property was as described. What was much more than advertised was Randy. He was great to work with and gave us a great run down of everything to do in the area. His recommendations were spot on and he set us up with a great sunset cruise. His customer service is worth the price of the rental!

Excellent service on a slice of heaven.

Randy met us at the house and took us on a tour of the area. He brought a canoe for us to use. It was so calming and enjoying of the wildlife paddling the canals and river. Randy checked on us to see if we were having a good time and asked if we needed other pointers. Lovely experience.

Awesome place for weekend getaway

My husband, nephew, his friend, and myself stayed for a long weekend at Randy's cozy place and it was perfect! We come to Homosassa every January for canoeing with the manatees and this place was great. It was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, we had a movie night on the spacious couches, and played board games on the dining room table. Randy met us when we arrived in the late evening and made us feel like we were staying at a relatives home. Thank you again and hope to see you next January!

Location, location, location!

Randy's property had everything we needed to easily put our kayaks in and enjoy a great weekend of kayaking, extremely close to the chassahowitzka campground and River!! Two fridges and lots of ice, special touches with coolers made things much easier to enjoy our weekend, thanks so much for sharing your property!!

Perfect small getaway spot!

This home was exactly what we were looking for! A nice, small place along the water that was central to Publix & the boat ramp we used to scallop. Randy was super helpful and we'll definitely be staying here again in the future!

Spring break with the grandkids!

House on a canal that feeds to Clearwater springs river. Wonderful kayaking experience for ages 10 to 70. Randy, the host was so accommodating telling us about local restaurants and places to go. Must see, Weeki Wachi mermaids! For any scuba diver, they were amazing.
