Charming, precious, picturesque attic apartment in downtown Nice. Clean and thoroughly renovated, we very much enjoyed our short stay here. Apartment is equipped with everything you need - full-size kitchen appliances, dining room, and lovely bedroom with colorful accents. The skylights and dormer views of the square were extra special. We lived our stay here.

I loved the apartment, clean, cozy, nice decoration, the BEST location, AWESOME view, well maintained, walking distance to the old town, markets, beach close to everything while staying in Nice. Also reasonable price. I’ll stay again at this place.

Perfect location

Best location to all things in Nice. Tram stop nearby and if you are a walker then this is heaven. Just moments from the beach, shops, food, and historic sights. You do have to climb a few flights of stairs to the apartment but it worked for us. Not to mention the view from the apartment is amazing.

Only one key, no idea the door of hotel would be locked never got a code, locked out of building and never got an answer on messages screw up on both hotel and owner? Still waiting to hear back. Too bad room is in an excellent location with great views

Great Location!

Simply amazing! Great location and walking to most things. A couple of downfalls: no stairs, shower goes everywhere and low ceilings (watch your head). Absolutely no problems with anything and honestly was nice to have a washer and a little extra space! Love to open the windows and over look Place Masséna!

Beautiful apartment in an amazing location

The location of this apartment is exceptional. You are steps from the ocean, as well as from the flower market and Vieux Nice. There is also a tram stop nearby with access to Place Massena. Yes, you do have to climb stairs to access the apartment, but this is well explained in the listing and was not an issue for us. The apartment is extremely clean, spacious, comfortable, and well appointed.We had a few issues with communication (host did not respond to a couple of my questions) and the check-in with the desk clerk at the Hotel below the apartment was a bit unpleasant, but other than that it was an excellent stay. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Stay

The apartment was beautiful, exactly as pictured and with all of the listed amenities. The location was superb, a three minute walk from the beach, the tram and right at the edge of Vieux Nice. The bed was very comfortable, the washing machine and air conditioning were huge bonuses but the weather ended up being so perfect that the AC wasn’t needed. The windows and close proximity to the ocean give the apartment great ventilation with fresh air. The view from the windows is also great, it was nice eating breakfast and people watching. Overall my stay was everything I hoped it would be!

Great location with a Great View!

We really enjoyed staying here with a great view of Massena Square. The location was close to the beach, the tram, and bus routes. We were able to see everything we had planned and more. It was a large space that had a modern kitchen. Just be sure to watch your head in some places (exposed beams and sloped ceiling). With four flights of stairs, it may not be for everyone, but we are young and didn't mind the exercise. It fit our needs perfectly on our European trip.

Excellent Location- lovely apartment

Other than having to ask for toilet paper (none in room luckily front desk gave us some) this was an excellent experience. Clean, excellent location, comfortable- do need to watch your head as ceiling sloped (great character though). No elevator so a bit of a walk up stairs so just be aware. Would stay here again! Used washer and had several drying racks which was great. No issues at all. Big fridge and freezer was nice.

The location was perfect, very close to the center of the old town and to the beach. There are everything one may need, including a washing machine. There was a small issue with the vine glasses - only one was available. The apartments are on the roof area so you have to climb to the 5th floor, which is a good exercise. It was quite quiet before the jazz festival, just next to the building, started. The loud music continued till 1 am for a few days.

The property location is phenomenal and 5 min walk from the main beaches and does have the view of town square, communication could be slightly better with PM but overall good. The view is accurate of the Apollo Fountain and you can hear people playing the piano in the main area. It is walking from many beaches, bars, and many restaurants (including some Michelin). There's two rooms both with its on HVAC unit, so spacious, but be cautious if you're tall as I was ducking a lot to navigate the place. There's not elevator / lift so be prepared to carry your luggage up 4-5 flights of stairs. The toilet unfortunately clogged during my stay, but the host was very amenable about it, refunded the nights not stayed. Hope the problem is resolved now and people have a good stay here!

Au cœur de Nice ! Excellent séjour.

Parfaitement conforme au descriptif. Nous y sommes restés 4 jours du 1er au 4 nov 2019 et avons été très satisfait de la prestation. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir. Les + : Très bien placé à 3 min du vieux Nice à côté de tous les restaurants et des commerces, facile d'accès, calme, très bien insonorisé grâce au double vitrage, très lumineux, spacieux, agréable avec l'essentiel pour y passer un excellent séjour, excellente literie. Les - : Pas d’ascenseur pour accéder au 4ème étage (pas gênant pour nous) , niveau vaisselle, le strict minimum (ne pas s'attendre à faire de la grande cuisine), 1 seul essuie mains et pas de torchons pour essuyer sa vaisselle (prévoir les siens). Pas de manuel d'instructions pour les visiteurs (ou trouver le code WIFI, ou sortir les poubelles à la fin du séjour, commerces à proximité pour ceux qui seraient un peu perdu...) ce que l'on retrouve parfois dans les locations du même type.

Appartement lumineux et très bien placé

Super séjour sur Nice grâce à ce logement bien placé qui nous a évité de prendre la voiture. Très lumineux et agréable. Clim très appréciable. Propriétaire très disponible et arrangeant. En deux mots: très bien.

Great location but poor communication from owner and terrible shower

This apartment is in a great location, but that’s kind of where the good ends. I received no communication from the owner on how to check-in despite sending him messages asking for them. I ended up having to call on our way there and even then the instructions were not clear. The listing was also misleading as it said parking was available - turns out, only paid public parking was available, and the closest parking lot is about a 5min walk. It wouldn’t be too bad if you have little to no luggage, but horrendous if you have more because you cannot even stop in front of the building to unload the luggage due to it being a single lane road with a lot of traffic. We had to park in the lot a few blocks away, then make 3 separate trips to bring in luggage - up 5 flights of stairs! I believe the apartment owner has an agreement with “hotel de la mer” (which btw, is NOT a hotel, more like a b&b) in the same building to handle the key exchange and housekeeping duties, but the guy at the check-in reception didn’t understand that we were there for the apartment, which meant that the owner did not communicate to him that we were going to be checking in that day. After we finally got into the apartment, no one could tell us how to connect to the WiFi, including the owner. The ridiculously long WiFi password (some 8-9 words long with dashes and all) was posted on ge cable box, but no one could tell us what WiFi network to connect to. The owner literally said “just try the strongest signal”. Well, there were like 10-12 different networks available and half of them had strong signals! The apartment was cute, but the layout wasn’t. The bed is angled in a way where one person would have to bend over to get out of the corner. Half of the space was like that due to it basically being a finished attic. There was a lot of floor space though, and cute nooks by the windows where you have a great view of place Massena. It is, however, TERRIBLY NOISY. Not just from all the traffic and people on the streets, but also the neighbors who liked to stay up late. Worst part of the place was the shower. It’s a shift-make shower with no door, just 2 pieces of glass and a super shallow base right next to the bed. Water overflowed onto the bedroom floors every time we took a shower, and only 2 medium sized, thin bath towels and 1 hand towel were provided. We would definitely not stay here again and we would not recommend it to anyone.
