Hermosa casa de 5 habitaciones, 4. 5 baños en la comunidad muy solicitada de Mountain Shadows en .25 acres. Esta casa ofrece 4,755 pies cuadrados, incluido el sótano de salida terminado. Family Wedding

Perfect home for reunions, weddings, graduation. Owners very responsive and go out of their way to help. Highly recommend. We had ten stay very comfortably with ages from 1 to 91.

Spacious house, well equipped

Our family had a wonderful stay at this spacious house. Location and neighborhood setting. Came well equipped and we were able to utilize the outdoor patios and grill several times. Can’t wait to stay their again.

Beautiful home and location for reunion of friends

We rented this home for a reunion of college friends. The home is beautiful and has wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces for gathering. Nice views of the mountains and Colorado Springs, too. It's close to Garden of the Gods and Manitou Springs. We enjoyed the game room in the basement for late-night billiards. We would happily stay here again.

We spent our family vacation at this FABULOS home. Wish I could give it higher than 5 stars as it was the best! Super clean, comfortable, best stocked home we have ever stayed in. I felt like I was in my own personal home with all the amenities and special touches. The snacks and starter home necessities were a fabulous bonus. The host/hostess was very caring and responsive to our needs. Can't recommend this home enough. It was a completely relaxing experience!!!

Excellent stay!!!

This property is exactly as advertised. We rented the week of USAFA graduation, and it was perfect. Home is large with wonderful amenities. We had a total of 8 people at different times, but there was lots of extra space. Owner is very responsive and welcoming. House rules were very reasonable. TVs all over the home. We’d stay again in an instant and would strongly recommend this home for anyone coming to the Springs for any period of time.

Great location and neighborhood

We were there for USAFA graduation and the house was in a convenient location just south of the Academy. Kim was awesome to deal with. The only down side was no cars are allowed to be parked on the street at night and the garage was not available. My son has a huge truck and everyone rented separate cars due to flight times so we had to squeeze 5 cars into the driveway. Thank you Kim!!

Foothills Fun

Planning a family Summer vacation with my Dad, Sister, Brother and all of their families. We wanted to go to Colorado where we had vacationed a few times when we were young and had fantastic memories. We were looking for a place near the mountains, definitely not the usual residential neighborhoods; BUT needed a large space to accommodate. Wow did we find the PERFECT place! Settled right in the shadows of the foothills so we were very close to everything we wanted to visit; Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds, Manitou Springs, etc. Everyday we got to see the wildlife; deer traversing for meals in the back yard, owls perching on the roofs in the evening, bighorn sheep right up the road, and more deer! All in a perfect sized home for 3 families with kids...plenty to do for the young ones including billiards, old school atari games and movies; all while the grownups got to relax on the 2 fantastic patios - one covered for when it rained or you wanted that early morning coffee to watch the sun rise, and the other for the grill nights and later evenings with the fire table for cocktail conversations! Home was extremely clean, the owner Kim is very responsive, and at the end of our trip we all agreed choosing this VRBO was one of the best calls of our vacation. Thanks Kim for helping us start some new Colorado memories with our younger family members!

Beautiful home, owner is not the greatest though

The home itself is really great, just be prepared for lots of last minute rules that youll be sent the morning of check in. For example, while fire pit and outdoor grill are listed as amenities, it will be up to you to provide propane if the tanks are empty. I will say the owner left an extra one at our request, but she also made it clear it was "on the listing" that we needed to supply our own. After reviewing the listing and the initial house rules, that was not indicated anywhere. You'll also be responsible for supplying your own toilet paper if it runs out, and taking out all the garbage your last day. While not a deal breaker, I think it was a bit silly to insist the guests buy their own propane and toilet paper. Also for what you pay for the cleaning fee, the cleaners could probably get the garbage themselves since they come an hour after checkout. The owner leaves a bit to be desired as far as being pleasant. However, their house is beautiful and well maintained and overall our stay was great. Just be prepared for last minute rules and silly things like getting your own toilet paper if you run out.

This guest was a red flag from the beginning but I decided to give her a chance. She gives 1-2 stars everywhere she stays and other hosts have rated her 1 star. I’m always willing to give people the benefit of the doubt, but other hosts should be aware. DO NOT accept a booking from her. I have had 5-star reviews up until now. Her complaints are unfounded so let the other reviews speak for themselves.

Amazing Property!

The owners were an absolute pleasure to work with. Colorado has a lot of rules but they were so accommodating and explained everything to us. Their home was perfect for our family. We had the best Christmas ever thanks to Kim!!! She went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and memorable. The neighbors across the street were so nice as well. They baked us a pie and we dropped off some after Christmas goodies to them before we left. Such a great trip!!! I highly recommend this property for anyone traveling to Colorado Springs!

Great house, great location and beautiful night time views

Several friends/family stayed here for the Pike's Peak Hill Climb Race. The location was perfect and the neighborhood was quiet. The views of Colorado Springs and the surrounding areas are pretty nice at night. The house was well appointed and slept everyone comfortably. Having three rooms with attached bathrooms was nice for the 3 sets of couples that were staying. The 'game room' with a pool table in the basement was a great space and offered another nice bedroom for a 4th couple. The pool table is in a little bit of a tight space, but it still works. We would definitely stay again if we come back to town.
