Family Beach Vacation

We have stayed here multiple years and so enjoy the wonderful living space and the beach! It's got a great gathering space for the family where we play together as well as lovely bedrooms to relax. It's perfect for our 3 generation family and we look forward to being here again next year!

Lots of steps but worth it!

We had a wonderful time just sitting on the beach during the day and watching some movies at night. Loved how quiet it was and how easy it was to get around. The 48 steps to and from the beach were a struggle at times but we truly enjoyed it. The sunsets were amazing!

Gorgeous home and location!

What a beautiful place to stay. It has everything needed and the property is beautiful. Eating on the deck part way down to the beach is the location you would choose at the most beautiful restaurant and it is right at your location! Hanging out on the beach is also the best place to be for entertainment and nature's beauty.

Beach time

Our family has stayed here a number of years and always looks forward to coming back! The cottage is lovely where there is wonderful space to play as a family, games in the evening, beach time on property, barbecues with meals outside overlooking the lake. The cottage is well appointed and lovely with gathering space as well as room to spread out. We'll be back!

Great summer vacation

Property was as described: clean, open, spacious. Lake views were 5-star. Waterfront was great. Management was quick to respond to questions. We had zero issues or problems during out 1 week stay. I would recommend the property to all. We hope to return in the future.

Great week on beautiful Lake Michigan!

We had a wonderful time in this clean, well outfitted, comfortable, roomy house. The kitchen had everything we needed and we cooked almost every meal. Gorgeous views and sunsets. Beautiful sandy beach. Amazing master suite- I wish I could take the bed home with me! Swimming, Blueberry picking, kayaking (2 at the house for use!), Lewis Adventure farm and zoo, and live music in Muskegon all made for a very fun week!

Fabulous place!!

We were so excited to stay here again, (we had stayed here last August as a family). It was our best vacation EVER!!! I grew up on Lake Michigan in the summers, we had a family cottage for 51 years. After my mother died, we had to sell it unfortunately….but we found this amazing place on VRBO and fell in love with the location, and the beautiful home. We were so pleased to be able to rent it again this summer, and we loved every minute we had at this fabulous cottage! It is a 5 star location, home and host…perfection!

Wonderful Family and Friend Reunion

My husband grew up in Muskegon and his family still lives in the area. When I saw this property it looked like the perfect place to reunite with friends and family, and it was! There was plenty of room for everyone's daily visits with beautiful views. The "window room" ended up being where we all sat and spoke of the past, present and future. If we get the opportunity to visit Muskegon again this will be the first place I'll look for.

Another awesome visit to this Muskegon home

We are always impressed with the simplicity of check-in and check-out and the friendly way of Kim, the house manager. This visit we had fun exploring more of Muskegon, visiting such places as The Deck with live music, the beautiful new Lake Bluff Grille with many delightful dinner choices, pickleball in town with friendly residents, and Muskegon Lake. Our all-time favorite is eating on the deck at this beautiful home overlooking Lake Michigan. It is like having the best table at a fancy restuarant. Thanks again, Kim, for another nice stay.

Escape to the Lake -

I found this property in June as I looked for someplace to stay with a view of Lake Michigan (and with beach access). This property did not disappoint with its spectacular view of the lake and easy access to the beach! The property manager contacted us before our arrival to go over check-in details and gaining access to the house. We did not need to contact them during our stay, but I'm sure we would have been able to if needed. The house was just as pictured and had plenty of space for our family of four! : )

Lake Michigan Splendor

This is the second time we have stayed at this property and this vacation experience was as terrific as the first . The house is in a great location, the amount of Lake Michigan beach is amazing and the hosts of this property are outstanding . Whether you are sitting on the lawn, the lower deck or the beach, the views are tremendous. The kitchen has every utensil you could possibly need . Laundry and closet space are great and there are a couple of kayaks for use . Also, cable and wifi have recently been upgraded; we had 4 in our group that needed to work remotely a few days and had no issues . We look forward to returning!

Dream Come True

Since I was a young boy, I thought a Lake Michigan cottage would be the ultimate experience. We had always stayed in a tent at the state park. Finally, now past 70, I was able to enjoy this with my wife and daughter. This was as a great place for some family visitors as well. Searched for the best choice for all of us and had a wonderful experience. This beautiful lake home is well kept and very pleasant. The beach is wonderful and not too many steps down. A great surprise for me was being able to actually see the waves meeting the sand from the corner of the sunroom. The trees provide shade and atmosphere but are trimmed to allow for a beautiful panoramic view of the lake. My wife has mobility issues and Kim was very helpful and provided necessary information regarding her needs. My daughter learned about a phone app to track boat activity on the Great Lakes. We watched a freighter leaving Muskegon and moving north as well as the ferry in and out of Muskegon twice each day. We enjoyed experiencing a variety of weather, sunny, cloudy, rainy, sometimes large waves and sometimes calm. We had a wonderful week.

Perfection!!

Wonderful hosts!!! Incredible views of Lake Michigan, pristine beach, lovely nature views everywhere. Home is well appointed with every modern convenience you would need, the master bedroom is exceptional with size and view, with a luxurious bathroom, The lower level is a kids delight, for games, sleeping and reading. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the outside grill is great for many delicious meals! The family room area is great, and loved sitting on couch, reading with beautiful Lake Michigan views. Amazing views out every window! We loved every moment! Would love to make this a new family vacation tradition every year! (My family had a cottage somewhat nearby for 50 plus years, but my mom passed away last year, so we no longer have it….but this was an amazing experience that we would love to repeat!!)

RELAXING LOCATION

We enjoyed a relaxing week as a family on this Lake Michigan waterfront property. There are No smart TV’s and very limited cable allowed for less distractions, especially for the kids. The area is quiet and beautiful. Kim called prior to check-in date to go over specifics for our stay which was helpful. Our favorite parts were the sitting room overlooking the lake and the upper sitting deck. The beds were comfortable and the master bedroom was large, had 3 sliders to the deck and an en-suite.

Impressive Lake View

The property highlight is an expansive view of Lake Michigan. The home was clean, comfortable and provided all we needed in addition to the sandy beach. Monarch butterflies are an added bonus from milkweed on the bluff.

Fantastic views and a great place!

We had a great time at this house! We've been cooped up for the last year and wanted a week away in an isolated place with great views and lots of space and this was the perfect spot. Beautiful sunset views every night and when itnwas warm enough we would walk down the beach.

Magnificent Views, and a spacious and well equipt home.

Everything was amazing at this property. The beds were super comfy, the kitchen had enough appliances to cook every meal during our 1 week stay, and the views were breath taking. I would book this space again in a heartbeat. I would say that my kids were pretty shocked that their televisions could not connect to Netflix and Hulu, but we figured out a work around We enjoyed our stay for sure!
