Ocean views were amazing!

Great location! Huge deck and being right on the beach made it hard to be indoors at all. House was clean had everything we needed. Outdoor shower was nice and new with ocean views.

Our extended family had a great stay at this home right on the ocean. Having those beautiful views from the living/dining area and deck and going to sleep to the sound of the ocean was perfect. The house is compact (especially the bedrooms) but very well equipped, from the kitchen to the TV/stereo to the beach chairs and bikes. Everything we needed was right there. Ocean Bay Park felt like a great location as it is lower key than Ocean Beach, but the stores and restaurants there are within walking/biking distance. Dru was extremely available to answer any and all questions we had promptly. We were lucky to have great weather, but I think we would have enjoyed it no matter what.

The Perfect Beach House!

We had such a great week in this house. The deck alone is amazing with it's wonderful views. Dru was so kind and easy to work with. The house was stocked with bikes, beach towels and clean linens - as the title states The Perfect Beach House!

House was just as described.

Overall we were very satisfied. The house was lovely and the kitchen well stocked. The view of course was fantastic. I am a fan of outdoor showers and this one was great. It is close enough to Ocean Beach to visit but far enough away that it is much quieter. This stay just confirmed my love of Fire Island.

Paradise on the beach

Rented this property for an offsite location with my management team. We spent the days working around the table, surrounded by beautiful views (including whales playing just offshore), and evenings on the deck and going into town. It was perfect, and the whole experience was well communicated and organized.

Family Vacation

This is a very comfortable house in excellent condition with large decks with great ocean views. Ocean Bay Park is a small pleasant community. Not to be missed is Schooners a fun bar/restaurant with good food. The host is very accommodating and easy to deal with. It doesn’t get any better than this. Bill B

Had a lovely four days on the island. House 5 minutes from ferry, well stocked with anything we might need to include bikes for everyone. Dru, our host, was lovely and provided a wealth of information. She was immediately available when we had questions. In summary, a charming home with spectacular views.

The perfect beach house!

Stop scrolling and look no further! This beach house is pristine inside and out and has everything that you could want in a Fire Island getaway. I have been renting on Fire Island for years and this is the house we will plan on returning to from this point forward. Everything was as advertised. You feel like you never leave the beach. You can enjoy everything from your morning coffee to afternoon drinks from the spacious deck that overlooks the ocean. The ground floor room has 12 bikes to take in the sights and sounds of the neighboring towns and plenty of beach toys for the kids! Can't wait to come back....5 stars...highly recommend!!!

Beautiful home, relaxing vacation

We came here to celebrate our son and son-in-law's 30th birthdays with family and friends. What a wonderful, relaxing trip. This house is beautiful and easily accommodated our party of 12. The view from every room is amazing. The kitchen is fully equipped and The house has plenty of towels and sheets. Dru is so nice and even though she was out of the country she made sure a small problem with the air conditioning was fixed immediately. This was our first time on Fire Island and we had no idea what to expect or how to even get here. Dru was very informative from the start and made our journey a pleasure from start to finish. There is so much to do and explore on Fire Island. It is a wonderful, friendly and safe place to vacation.

Absolutely Perfect!!

I booked this house for my husband's 35th birthday for us to celebrate with our children and our in laws and their kids. First, the house is beautiful and the pictures do not do it justice. It is clean and literally has everything you will need (like seriously everything!). The deck is just wonderful and is the best place to just sit and relax. I honestly cannot think of a negative thing to say. From arrival to departure, Dru was amazing. This house has everything you need (bikes, beach chairs, towels, beach toys, sound system...I can do on and on). We are figuring out when we can book again for next year!

Oceanfront with unfortunate issue

Pros: direct ocean front with fantastic views and wrap around deck for sunset views. Large kitchen and dining room, large outdoor shower. Cons: apparently this season had a problem with roaches on the island. Owner had exterminator over as soon as I mentioned we were having an issue. Unfortunately the issue was inside and out. The owner did give us a 3 1/2% refund for our trouble. Even with that issue, we did agree to rent for next season.

Thank you, Christine, We are very pleased you have booked again for next season. We are very sorry that his happened during your stay. Unfortunately this issue arose- completely to our surprise. We not only had the exterminator come out immediately when this was brought to our attention, but had him return again three days later for a follow up and then again the following week. He explained that this was a new issue faced by many homeowners suddenly this season. Problem has been completely eliminated.. We will proactively treat pre and throughout the 2024 season to ensure this does not occur again. Our guests’ positive experience is of the utmost importance to us and we do everything in our power to address any unforeseen issues quickly and to ensure our guests’ satisfaction. This remains an isolated experience- we have been renting since 2007. We love our home and take pride in maintaining it and look forward to providing you a fabulous experience in an extraordinarily beautiful oceanfront location in 2024.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

Dru, the owner, was the perfect host. She was great about answering emails and providing me with helpful information. The house was roomy and the view was magnificent. We enjoyed the large, oversized deck morning, noon, and night. There were a ton of bikes and our entire family was able to explore Fire Island together, giving all of us a lifetime of wonderful memories. Highly recommend!

Amazing views of the ocean. It was cloudy all weekend for our beach getaway and we still loved it! Dru was easy to communicate with and we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this location!!! The only downside is that I don’t want to stay anywhere else on fire island ever again because it won’t compare to this house lol

Another Fantastic Business Treat!

We have utilized the lovely space of Sunrise Sunset for the past two years for our executive team's annual strategy planning. The space is warm and inviting with plenty of beds for the team & friends. The location is right on the beach with a fabulous wrap around deck that provides the absolute best sunsets on the island. It's also great for BBQ's or just a simple cup of coffee while watching the waves crash! You can do Yoga on the beach or stay on the deck (it's great team building). The views are endless! We were able to work in the morning and enjoy the beauty of Fire Island in the afternoons. We're looking forward to next year! Thx Dru for another great experience.

Paradise

The location of this property is beyond perfect. It sits at the foot of the dunes with views of the ocean from all its windows as well as the deck that wraps around the house. True to its name, the house allows full view of every sunrise and sunset - inside and out. The house offers all the amenities you need for a full and complete stay. It is very clean, comfortable, cozy and accommodating while also feeling contemporary. Such a short walk to the ferry and to Schooners -- which is filled with a very friendly staff and very good food. The communications form our host were very timely, very efficient and very helpful. They were in touch immediately after we booked the place and provided helpful updates each step of the way. Shortly after we checked in, we received a text asking how we were doing. They definitely care about the visitor experience. Our first night, we had trouble lighting the fireplace. Dru responded immediately to our text and then followed up with a phone call to walk us through the steps. The communication followed right through to check out and beyond, wanting to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We visited in the off-season and had remarkably mild weather. The comfort of the house and the magic of the beachfront offered us such an incredible experience. We've rented houses at the beach before but never on Fire Island and never directly on the beach/slash ocean front. This was a dream come true for us and surpassed our every expectation. If you want a true beach experience without giving up comfort, care and convenience - not to mention incredible access - this is the place to stay. We hope we can return someday for more of Sunrise Sunset at Ocean Bay Park.

The photos of the house say it all - we love Fire Island and the laid back vibe, but maintain our home in excellent condition and enjoy the creature comforts within! Updated with hot water on demand system so no one ever gets that last cold shower at the end of the beach day. We love our home and hope that you will too!

Fire Island is one of the most peaceful, amazing, laid back beautiful spots in the world! Your blood pressure goes down the moment you board the ferry boat! We looked at houses one-off the beach, or further inland with lovely gardens - then stepped out onto this amazing deck overlooking the ocean and a wide expanse of beach and knew this was the house for us!
