Wonderful relaxing location on the lake

We thoroughly enjoyed kayaking around Paugus Bay. We had such a relaxing stay just sitting on the deck overlooking the lake or playing cards down on the patio. Watching Fourth of July fireworks from the downstairs overlooking the bay was an added treat.

Great location - right on the water.

We enjoyed our week on the lake. Swimming and fishing were fun, neighbors were quiet, hiking_trails were near by. We would stay here again.

Wonderful lakeside location

We thoroughly enjoyed this cabin on the lake. It was convenient to Gilford, Meredith, and Weirs beach. We took in a concert at the Gilford Bank NH Pavilion, a hike, a wine tasting at Hermit Woods, and had several kayak trips on the lake. The accommodations were ideal for what we were looking for and loved the spot.

Amazing location

We’ve come to this little gem of a spot every year since our daughter was born. We absolutely love it, the location is perfect, the views are amazing and the owner is so kind! We have a great time every time we visit, thanks so much for another awesome year!

Family memories

For our first vacation as a family of four, we had a blast! We played in the sand at the beach only three houses down, visited Castle in the Clouds, Squam Lake Nature Center, and Funspot, and enjoyed some downtime "at home." Everything was perfect and we would definitely return!

Beautiful location

The location was great. The place was lovely. It had pretty much everything you would need. If you like a very firm bed you will love this place. It was a bit loud at times with all the boat traffic and lots of motorcyclists but it is Laconia so you can’t avoid that.

Love the property. Always very clean and kitchen is well equipped for anything you should need. Very quiet and well maintained. The owner is always very easy to contact with any questions you may have. Would highly recommend.

Perfect location

Absolutely loved this cottage and location. We brought our boat where the dock was feet away from the cottage, which made getting on and off the water a breeze. Owner was wonderful with any questions we had. We would love to come yearly and stay here. LOVED

Beautiful Gem

This is our second time staying at this property. It is a beautiful spot right on the water. The view is amazing and the cottage is adorable. Couldn't be happier with the location and the owner is very responsive and very nice. We look forward to continuing to visit!

Amazing Lakeside Stay

This is our second time staying at the lakeside cottage by Peagus Bay. The peace and beauty of being right on the lake is indescribable. Fantastic cottage, clean and with all the amenities- could. It ask for better! Booked next year already.

Great vacation spot, nice quiet neighborhood.

This was a beautiful condo that sat right on the water. A little disappointed that the “private beach” meant a very small beach down the road. I guess I was wrong to assume that a private beach meant we had a private beach.

We couldn't have asked for anything more. The home was nice and tidy with a beautiful view. The generous Host made us feel welcomed upon our arrival. Never wanted to leave!

My husband and I went with our 8 year old daughter and all 3 of us never wanted the week to end. We would absolutely stay again and hope to. Kem described the cottage perfectly and from all the photos it was exactly what I expected. We had great weather so we spent most of our time on the beach and our nights enjoying the sunset and fishing off the dock. We loved that the whole back of the house had a lake view - waking up to the water was amazing. Thank you for our stay and allowing us to share your beautiful cottage

Great fishing.. Comfortable and clean cottage

We love it here… the cottage is comfortable and has everything we needed for our stay. We really like that a slip for our boat is included. Kem is very responsive and helpful. We come here to fish for the week and the bay does not disappoint. Large and smallmouth bass are everywhere. Many of them we catch right in front of the cottage. This was our third time coming here and we are definitely coming back again.

Home Sweet Home

It only takes a day to feel like you live here. Everything you could need is provided for, and everything is well taken care of. The location is amazing with stunning views of the water, and a huge deck to enjoy it from. It's so much nicer to enjoy the lake from here instead of a hotel! Kem was extremely responsive to our questions, and throughout the rental process, everything was straight-forward and simple. I highly recommend the cottage to anyone who wants to relax at the big lake!

Family memories made for a lifetime!

This property was on the cutest little island with breathtaking lake views right from the back deck. The house was so clean and had all of the basics that you would need for a weeks stay. The owner was wonderful and answered all of the questions I had quickly. This home is the perfect size for 4 people. We rented a pontoon boat from in town and my son caught around 30 fish the whole week! You can find the best fish right on the bay by the small and big island right out from the house. We enjoyed the islands private beach and lake access a lot and made a ton of memories with our 2 teenagers. Would highly recommend!! Hope to return one day in the future!

Family Vacation

My family and I had a great vacation on the Island. Kem was extremely generous and the rental was extremely clean! We saw baby snapping turtles, a bald eagle as well as very friendly ducks at the beach. We look forward to coming here every year! Thanks Kem for all your hospitality!!
