Esta impresionante villa de 1 dormitorio y 1 baño se encuentra en una excelente ubicación y tiene capacidad para 4 personas. Tiene fantásticas vistas al mar desde el interior en la mesa de comedor o en el balcón compartido. El interior cuenta con muebles y decoración modernos, una cocina totalmente equipada, con asientos en el bar para una comida informal o una mesa de comedor redonda que se encuentra bajo un fantástico tragaluz. Relájese en el lujoso sofá seccional junto a la chimenea o en el sofá secundario que también funciona como sofá cama. Las puertas francesas se abren al gran balcón desde la sala de estar principal, para que pueda relajarse y disfrutar de las vistas y la brisa del océano.


El dormitorio tiene su propia televisión, un armario con puertas correderas, una cómoda cama tamaño king y una pantalla ajustable que proporciona una vista opcional del resto de la villa. El baño incluye una ducha y bañera separadas, un tocador doble y espejos envolventes. Otras comodidades incluyen wifi, un carrito de golf para 4 pasajeros y un patio con asientos en el balcón. The view and ambience were spectacular! Could not be better! We appreciated the grill on the patio and made the choice to buy groceries and eat here at the condo for all of our dinners. We sat on the balcony and overlooked the ocean. Such a romantic getaway for our 45th anniversary!

Lovely location. There is no air conditioner in the units and inadequate ceiling fans. Most evenings were hot and we couldn’t leave the doors open to let in ocean air because there aren’t any screens. The views are enchanting. Overall nice stay.

Everything was great. The only minor thing was the windshield on the golf cart, it’s hard to see out due to the “film” on it. It would be easier if you could lower the top portion and also get the wind flowing more. Again, a minor thing. The condo and view was fantastic.

The good The view is breathtaking and we really enjoyed the balcony. The meh: The tall outdoor chairs could have been more comfortable. The stove needs updating. The microwave is missing a panel in the inside. There were cobwebs in several places and at least 6 spiders. Not much use of the closet. About 1/4 at best. There are lots of stairs getting to the unit. The golf cart has definitely seen better days and it was hard to outrun the fumes.

Disappointment with local property management

Unfortunately, CVR, who is the island property management group. Their performance was very disappointing. Therefore, I had to rely on VRBO to take over. CIVR also shut the door of any communication because of my displeasure with how we were being treated. Communication was lack lesser to say the least by CIVR. They were very blunt by saying that I was to be conversing with VRBO over their participation by taking care of this property. When leaving the property, I was contacted by one of the cleaning people who asked if my husband and I were the new owners of this condo. We were a little bit confused because we were assuming it was the same owners. We were informed that the property had been sold and that there were new owners. We love staying at this condo, but would like to give a buyer beware to the owners of this property management for this condo that they probably need to reconsider using this local property management team.

Lovely Respite

We have no complaints about the condo only that there is some maintenance that needs to be done on the golf cart. It backfires a lot. Headlights and the headlight needs to be adjusted because it’s not facing forward. Windshield needs to be replaced as well because it is very difficult to look out And see oncoming traffic. The dishwasher is very loud and at the end of the day it never really cleaned the dishes. Housekeeping issues nothing major except for the golf cart does need to have maintenance to be done. We shocked many people going down the road, including us. Also the windshield is a real hazard. We plan on coming back, and enjoyed our stay immensely.

Gorgeous Ocean View!

Gorgeous! 3 sets of French Doors to huge deck with stunning ocean views Relaxing and lovely. Golf cart was fun to drive and made getting around super easy. Was nice to be out of the hustle and bustle but able to get to town speedy quick. Loved it! Will be back!

Exactly what we were looking for: a private, quiet, elegant villa just close enough to the city center to make it convenient to walk and just far away enough to feel at peace. The perfect space for a couple looking to get away in style.

A Letdown

My husband and I vacationed at Hamilton Cove properties several times in the ‘90s and had wonderful memories of those experiences. Fast forward to today, and suffice it to say, we were woefully let down. The management service texted us a code to access the lockbox to our unit. Unfortunately, they did not advise us that not all cellular carriers have connection in the Cove. Therefore, we had no way of communicating with the office. Fortunately for us, our daughter, who was staying with us, did have access. Next, there were no explicit directions on the location of our golf cart. We went up and down several flights of stairs looking for it. Upon calling the office, we were given the location of our cart. The cart itself was not exactly “state of the art” and backfired on one occasion and sputtered along in general. As to the condition of the condo; at first glance it appeared to be clean and tidy - until we went into the bathroom. The shower had a door once upon a time, in better times, I assume. Currently, the door has been removed and a shower curtain hangs in its place. Very tacky. But even more offensive, the toilet area reeked of urine, which intensified when the room was steamy after a shower. The unit was advertised to sleep 4, a pullout sofa bed being the accommodation to sleep two people. This was another debacle. In short, a good time was not had by all. 🙄

Perfect family getaway!

Even better than the pictures! Stunning views, lovely condo, and a golf cart to get around the island made this the perfect place for our family vacation! Check in was easy, the condo was spacious and clean. This was our first time in Catalina. Will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!!

Relaxing stay!

The location was excellent. Beautiful views coupled with convenient property amenities such as the private beach, pool, hot tub, and golf cart this made for a relaxing weekend getaway. It was an excellent stay and I look forward to staying again in the future.

Nice stay

This was our second time staying in Hamilton Cove. The best part about staying here is having a golf cart to use which makes it easier to get around and enjoy more activities. This property was reasonably clean but lacked upgraded items (stove/oven, dishwasher and toilet) probably from the 80's. The bedding, bath towels and kitchen towels were good but the unit could be more diligent to provide better items like new dish sponges or cloths (they only had 4 old scrub sponges so we had to use a dish towel as a dish cloth to hand wash dishes). Also items like quality paper towels, and 2-ply T.P. (the public bathrooms in Avalon had better quality). Otherwise, our stay was enjoyable and relaxing. We'll probably re-rent this unit but will spend an extra $10 to purchase better items for our next stay.

This villa has excellent views of Hampton Cove!!! It is a gated entrance, which gives you a secluded feel, yet the golf cart is right there if you want to go into Avalon for restaurants and shopping. Perfect for a relaxing or romantic get away!

Property itself was really nice. The view to the ocean is priceless. The ply thing I would change is having the property owners update the TVs, as well as the bedding. The tvs were only and bedding was not what I expecting was very worn.

Catalina is a dream!

CVR: very easy to work with and responded timely which was helpful. They even went above and beyond by shipping us the souvenir’s we bought for our kids that we mistakenly left behind. Most places would say ‘sorry, too bad’ or charge an extravagant fee. We really appreciated it! H-242: Pros: The bed was comfy to sleep on, the mirrors in the unit made it feel spacious, the balcony with patio seating was one of my favs since it was quiet and you could just listen to the waves. Having access to a golf cart for our stay made a huge difference. (In-town stays don’t include one so you have to rent them hourly and it gets expensive quick) Cons: While most of this unit was clean (the floor, kitchen and bathroom shower/sink, dresser & bed), the walls, white leather furniture and doors need a deep clean. I get that it’s a rental but all the dirty handprints and smudges were very noticeable on the bright white walls. (See pics) Some of the blinds were damaged and a window was cracked so we weren’t able to open it to help cool the unit off overnight (we didn’t dare sleep with the patio doors open since it is a shared patio that also has stairs connected to a common area). We did open a bedroom window and there was a fan. Note: Someone previously complained of ants, a slow golf cart, broken toilet seat, delayed unit access, poor wifi, dirty sheets but all of those were non-existent issues for us. The community: It was clean and well cared for, especially for when it was built. This was our first visit to Catalina and I didn’t realize how busy the town and other beaches get, even in Sept. The private cove and pier were awesome and much more quiet. The gated community felt safe, had security at the entrance, and was quiet. The pool was clean and HEATED. We will definitely return!
