Great place with excellent views! Check in was effortless and the condo was one of the cleanest I’ve seen. This was our first time visiting Chincoteague and we will definitely be back!

The home was beautiful, with amazing sunset views! We spent a lot of time on the wrap around deck, and even saw dolphins. We visited for a fall weekend and would love to return.

Lovely retreat on the water

This is a very comfortable, well-equipped condo that is right on the water. This is our third visit, the first in winter. The views out over the bay are spectacular. And the proximity to the beach and wildlife refuge cannot be beat.

Beautiful Condo And Fantastic Location

Came for a long weekend with my kids and we had a fantastic time. Condo was wonderful, had everything you could possibly need for a stay near the beach. Location is amazing, right there on (over really) the water and within easy walking or driving distance of local attractions. Host Cynthia was wonderful and communication was excellent and responses were quick. Highly recommend this condo for your Chincoteague vacation!

We spent a very calm, relaxing weekend get away. The condo is lovely, picture perfect…We love the view from our balcony where we spotted dolphins from the balcony, two days in a row. We will definitely plan a trip back soon.

This property was absolutely amazing! We agreed that this place had the best views on the island - it could not be beat. We watched the sunset and sunrise and were in awe of the beauty. The condo layout was perfect for our family - the beds were so comfortable! The host was super communicative and gave us great recommendations for our stay. Be sure to stop by Island Creamery - that was a hit for our family! We would stay at Sunset Bay again in a heartbeat and can’t wait to come back again soon.

Perfect spot with awesome water views. Guests are required to wash the bed sheets before leaving, which seems a bit over the top considering the hefty cleaning fee. Other than that everything was awesome

Great place to relax and enjoy

Unit was clean and quiet with beautiful views to the north and west. We could watch the sun set every evening and also got to watch dolphins swimming in the channel a couple of times. Easy walk to shops and restaurants on main street. Also used the swimming pool a couple of times (Hurricane Lee was offshore, so the surf was really rough at the beach.) All in all, a great experience.

A wonder experience

This is a beautiful property with an outstanding location. The view is even better than suggested by the pictures. A well-equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Great pool. We will undoubtedly do our best to return. And to top it off, dealing with Cynthia was a pleasure.

Amazing views & great location

We loved our stay at Cynthia’s property. The room set up was perfect for our family and the water views from the balcony were priceless. We had an unusually cooler week for August, so we didn’t enjoy the pool as much as we wanted. The location of this condo is great for walking to shopping or restaurants. If you decide to drive, everything is still close. Cynthia was extremely helpful giving us recommendations and called me before we arrived. Thank you so much for a great stay. We are looking to go again!

We truly enjoyed our time at Sunset Villas and when visiting Chincoteague we will always book this condo!! Beautiful sunrise and sunset views of the bay from the porch & master bedroom. Well stocked kitchen with a large dining table. Easily accessible with elevator or stairs. Porch furniture is minimal with no cushions for the2 wrought iron chairs….the pool area & gym are convenient to condo. Able to walk to dining & shops. The condos host was always available and even texted us about an upcoming rocket launch. This is a GEM!

The apartment was convenient to walk downtown, carnival grounds and right next door, Ropewalk(restaurant/bar). The apartment was cluttered, not very clean, kitchen lacked basics, TV confusing and outdoor furniture needed updating. I would recommend for convenient location, view of water and pool. I paid several fees but the cleaning fee was ridiculous, when it was dirty/dusty and owner asked me to do at least one load of wash of sheets before I checked out. There were no cleaning supplies.

Emily, Thank you for staying with me and your feedback. Prior to your stay I purchased and added a very high end smart TV and a Salterino style wrought iron patio set updating for the 2018 season. My kitchen is stocked with all the basics for cooking any meal. There is plenty room at the condo for guests to relax and enjoy the view, plus plenty of room to move about freely. The condo is cleaned between each guests stay and bathroom are sanitized. Basic cleaning supplies are onsite and available for guests use. I was unaware of concerns mentioned here. Cute condo on the water.

Our family of 4 (two adults, two kids age 7 and 8) had a wonderful time staying here. The condo was stocked and cozy. The owner was very attentive and helpful with things to do in the area. The porch was perfect for sitting and watching boats and wildlife go by with fantastic sunsets. It’s walking distance to restaurants and cute theater where they happened to have a juggling performance (the kids loved it!). Highly recommend staying here.

Bay views from every room!

The views from every room were simply amazing!! The pool is just a walk down the stairs which was great for the kiddos. We had a wonderful stay and bathrooms were very clean. We enjoyed our stay!!

Lovely view but doesn’t sleep 7, comfortably,, no WiFi or TV, Post-It notes all over, cleaning expectations too high. Not adequate seating for 7 on the deck. The owner was in contact but intrusive. This would be adequate for 2 couples and 2 children.

Thank you for the compliment regarding our water views. Our goal is to provide the best for each guest as well as the same for the property. After check out there was a concern we addressed however no reply was received, instead an inaccurate review posted. The condo sleeps 6-8 guests comfortably. Emails and calls were answered promptly to assist guests. There were no concerns mentioned from guest during stay. Internet and TV all working. Meeting and exceeding expectations of each guest is our number one goal.

This unit (#219) and stack (above and below units) are the only units that will offer you privacy from other units and water views from all rooms. Chincoteague is a very quaint fishing town. There are a variety of activities for couples and families to enjoy; from fishing, nature boat cruising, charter boat tours, jet skiing, miniature golf, bike rentals, kayaking and so much more. There are several artesian shops within walking distance from the condo with unique pieces. The local folks are the kindest people. The beaches are clean and beautiful. The Chincoteague Ponies and other wildlife are lovely - nature at its best. You will enjoy sunrise and sunsets from this condo as it is a corner, end unit.

Many guests comment on how this unit compares to no others here-location, location, location. There are views of Wallops Island, Rocket launch pad and water, water and more water from this condo. It is like being on a house boat. The wrap around balcony gives a panaramic view and complete privacy from other units! The pool and gym is just steps from this unit! Bird Watchers and Nature Lovers will love these views!
