Esta casa frente al mar de dos dormitorios y dos baños está justo al lado del servicio de ferry de Davis y a pocos minutos de Cape Lookout. Gran acceso a Core Banks para disfrutar de la playa para el sol y las olas o para pescar y cazar. Completamente amueblado con dos camas Queen y dos sofás cama. El muelle privado le permite traer su bote o puede explorar las vías fluviales con los dos kayaks disponibles. Las bicicletas están disponibles, puedes recorrer el pintoresco desvío. ¡También hay una ducha al aire libre! Disfrute de las vistas de Core Sound desde la cubierta envolvente o la terraza acristalada. El Floorplan es abierto y espacioso, ¡te da la bienvenida! Three best friends celebrating a Birthday weekend trip. Everything was very clean. Kitchen well stocked. Love the view from the home of the water. So peaceful.we enjoyed watching movies and playing cards. She has a variety of board games to choose from. We will definitely visit again! Thank you!

The property is gorgeous!! It was well stocked and there was delicious home made banana bread waiting for us. The owners left great instructions, restaurant, and local store guides. Everything that we needed was easy to find. It is minutes from the Great Island Ferry. We will be back!

The name absolutely fits. We were here for 9 days and enjoyed beautiful sunrises in a very peaceful setting. The house is spacious with a welcoming feeling like you're at home. We stay in numerous different locations each year and this is by far at the top of our list. We had one minor hiccup during our stay on a Sunday evening and Laurie had someone out within an hour to remedy the problem. The only issue I have now is my wife wants to buy this home. If you're looking for a peaceful relaxing vacation this is the place you want to be. Thank you to Laurie for sharing this amazing home with us.

We had everything we needed, everything is very nice and classy, nothing broken or not working. We were very comfortable and did not want to leave. We were here during a storm but it was still such a nice stay. The screened in deck was the BEST. Even with wind and rain we were able to sit out there and enjoy it. The screen seems to block both the wind and rain enough to enjoy it no matter the weather. It was absolutely fantastic. Thank you so much, looking forward to coming back.

Another wonderful week in Davis............despite a few days of unsettled weather. This was our 3rd stay at Sound Escape. The house was excellent as usual, and we really enjoy the peace and quiet of the area. Lost to see and do in and around Davis if you're willing to drive a bit. We love this place !!!

Mark's father is from Down East. Laurie fell in love with that area about the time she fell in love with Mark. For more than 2 decades they have been visiting the waters of Core Sound. Laurie and their dog Grace love to Kayak on the Sound every chance they get. Mark loves doing anything on the water.

If you are looking for a getaway that will make you appreciate everything nature has to offer - this is the place for you.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The screen porch is sure to be a highlight of your stay - at least that is what we hear. Sound Escape will allow you to throw a cast net off the dock, enjoy a good book on the screen porch, see more stars than you may have ever seen before and if you are lucky spot a dolphin or sea turtle swimming by.
When you walk in the door, you can look straight through the large great room and see Core Sound on the other side. If the weather is right, you might decide to turn off the A/C or heat and open the windows and feel the Sound breezes while you sleep or enjoy your breakfast.
Feel free to take a bike ride along the Scenic Byway (on one of the two bikes that are included), take a paddle on one of the two kayaks or hop on the Ferry to catch a ride to an amazing beach (that is practically private!)
Fish off the dock or in the surf if you would like (just bring your gear). If you have never been clamming, grab our clam rake and give it a try!
Walk down to Davis Shore Provision and grab some ice cream or dessert or stop in JDs one morning for a breakfast sandwich on a Davis Shore yeast roll. You have to try one!
