Lake Weekend

Great place in a tightly spaced but very nice and welcoming community. Location on the lake, dock, and a boat ramp all fantastic.

Great location for a family vacaction. Need some attention to kitchen, lids for pots and silver ware. We can’t light the fire place and remote were out of batteries

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay! We will check on the lids, they should be in the cabinet behind the counter bar. Also, we had the handy-man come check the fireplaces after you left, and they turned on after clearing out the air in the lines as we discussed.

Beautiful house and views

The house was nice and in a very picturesque location. We found it well appointed and very comfortable—especially the master bed. Gorgeous lake views. A few things needed attention but nothing unusual and the owner gave us a credit for the inconvenience. We would happily return.

Perfect lake getaway

Enjoyed our stay. The deck is the perfect place to lounge and even in the 90s had a beautiful breeze that made it wonderful to people & boat watch. The cleaners did a great job prior to our arrival. Thought the house was bigger in person than the pictures showed. Mike (host) was great. There was plenty of water toys to use at the house, we brought our own, but it was not completely necessary if traveling with a packed car. Great place to bring the grandparents!

Problem with a/c when arrived, not cooling. Contacted property manager second day. Repair service came out, found problem and made necessary repairs. All handled timely and professionally.Arrangements were comfortable and view was outstanding. Would recommend to others and we would return again.

Fabulous property; disappointed with conditions.

Beautiful property in a prime location. Disappointed with the way the property was left for our arrival. Numerous lights not working, had to replace 5 bulbs and didn't have spare for one other. There was a broken glass and dirty hats left on the kitchen counter. Neither fireplace was able to be utilized due to no gas flow. We moved the couch to better be able to watch a movie and found about a dozen dead cockroaches under it. Very disturbing, however they were dead and we didn't see any live pests during our stay. The outside grill functioned but was very dirty. The space in the house was as advertised, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Michael, I'm glad that you enjoyed your stay and I apologize for the minor inconveniences that you experienced. I apologize that some of the light bulbs had burned out prior to your arrival, but that happens from time to time. We try to keep enough spares in the house to keep all of the lights operational for our guests. The broken glass cup was left by the cleaning crew so that I would see that the previous tenants damaged it. They did not realize that another guest was checking in before I would be back at the property. I have also instructed them to make sure they clean thoroughly under the furniture after each stay in the future as well. The gas fireplaces do work and I tried calling you and messaging you to walk through the process but could not get a hold of you. We will leave written instructions to operate the fireplaces at the house for future guests. Thank you for the feedback and we look forward to having you stay at the lake house again in the future!

Great views of the lake!

The home is lake front and has wonderful lake views! The house needs major TLC, ASAP! Fresh bed sheets and new towels are my suggestion as an inexpensive start. We felt as if you went to a flea market and found things to piece together and continue to do so as things break or tear. By charging premium prices, you are attracting guests that expect a little higher quality. If you are good with "glamping" this is the place for you!! It is cute and has potential! I think the landlord is fresh at this and just needs to invest more in the property.

Beautiful view of Lake Keowee

This lake house needs some TLC. The furniture in the upstairs living room was not adequate. Roaches were crawling everywhere. The kitchen lacked pots and pans to cook dinner for 5. We went out and bought one at the Dollar Store. The linens were not enough and scratchy.

We are disappointed to hear your stay was not worthy of a 5 star review. The furniture was pictured in the listing photos, so I'm not sure why that was a surprise to you. August is the worst time of the year at the lake for waterbugs, if you would have reached out to us during your stay we would have been happy to call pest control to come back out and retreat. A full set of pots and pans are hanging from the rack above the kitchen sink and more are in the cabinets. Again, an email or phone call from you and we could have quickly remedied this. There are towels and sheets for all of the beds and bathrooms.

Cute place but lacking updates

We had a good visit but can’t say I would totally recommend. I did appreciate we could roll our boat right up to dock. The Bad News: We were without refrigerator first day, one roll of paper towels, one trash bag, no hair dryer, no coffee filters and huge roach issue. Granite they just had new floors installed and I’m sure that brought about the pest control issue but the staples of a rental property is imperative and must be included in cost of rental. I expressed all of this information to owner.

Awesome location and views!

My parents, husband, two teen boys and I all stayed here 5 nights and had a great time. I loved that the lower-level was a place the boys could go and hang out so we weren't all near each other all the time. The deck was really spacious and we had fun playing card games in the evening, looking out over the water. Would recommend and would stay here again!

Truly relaxing vacation experience!

We enjoyed vacationing on this relaxing property with beautiful views overlooking a gorgeous lake. Loved just reading a book on the large deck with the breeze coming off of the water, plus the dock with designated boat slip just steps away was so convenient for family fun on the lake! We will be back!

Beautiful cabin on beautiful lake!

One of the most beautiful lakes I have ever had the pleasure of visiting and I’m from Minnesota, Land of 10,000 lakes! Cabin was excellent! The beds are super comfortable, even more so than my new bed at home. Just keep in mind that nothing is child proof. I had my 15 month old with. Had to block some things off but we were able to make it work. There was no tp or condiments there when we arrived. I found this to be odd but wasn’t a big deal. I made a point to leave some things for the next people; to, condiments, fishing tackle etc... Overall, I have no complaints. I would definitely stay here again and have already recommended this place to a friend who plans to visit soon.

Usually our housekeeping crew leaves out fresh TP, paper towels and bar soap to get our guests started on their stay. We will make sure this gets restocked asap!

Awesome Lake Views

This property was a great find. The views of the lake are incredible. The owner was great to work with. The beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again, it was mid lake which was nice and convenient as well. The kitchen was small but still worked for our needs.
