Retro Cool Beach Bungalow, Casa unifamiliar, patio privado, vistas al mar

¡Bungalow de concepto abierto de dos habitaciones / dos baños (no un condominio) que está directamente al otro lado del Golfo Boulevard desde el acceso a la playa!

Compramos esta casa con nuestra propia familia en mente. Queríamos un espacio para nosotros solos (lo que significaba que no había condominios) con mucho espacio para que nuestros tres hijos jugaran, todo mientras estábamos más cerca de la playa que el espacio de estacionamiento promedio en la isla. ¡El lugar que cariñosamente llamamos "The Beach Pit" se ajusta perfectamente!

Este bungalow de 50 años fue construido cuando la mayoría de las estructuras de la isla no existían. Para nosotros eso significaba que era una de las pocas casas que no estaba en una zona de inundación; para ti eso significa que atrapó uno de los mejores lotes de la isla justo al lado del acceso a la playa.

¡Te encantará el hecho de que puedes cruzar la calle con nuestro práctico vagón de playa y estar en la playa! También apreciará poder estacionarse en nuestro estacionamiento cubierto literalmente a dos pasos de su puerta. ¡No más arrastrar todos tus juguetes y equipaje a través de un estacionamiento caliente, solo para descubrir que el elevador está roto! Las escaleras y las situaciones de estacionamiento inaceptables fueron un factor decisivo para nuestra familia, y estamos seguros de que apreciará la comodidad de nuestro hogar.

A pesar de tener 50 años, ciertamente no sentirás que estás en un túnel del tiempo. Apreciará los nuevos muebles (en 2018) de Ikea y los colchones más cómodos en los que haya dormido. También hay dos televisores inteligentes (49 "en la sala de estar y 32" en una habitación), así que siéntase libre de ver Netflix si ha tenido demasiado sol. WiFi de alta velocidad también está disponible con gran conectividad en toda la casa.

La cocina está completamente equipada con ollas, sartenes y utensilios de cocina, así como la vajilla esperada. Hay una parrilla de gas en el patio trasero para cocinar y disfrutar de una bebida después de que se pone el sol.

My family had a wonderful week at the Beach Pit! Our 2 small dogs had a wonderful time in the fenced in back yard and we were able to walk across the street, onto the beach with them daily. Highly recommend this home!! Jacob was very responsive and everything went so smoothly. We also loved that SPI was so pet friendly! That is a huge deal to us bc of our babies. Hoping we will be able to go back sometime and would love to stay at the Beach Pit!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Beach Pit property. It was very spacious for a 2 bedroom/2 bath. It was really nice having a covered carport to park our car under during the heat of the day as well as at night. Our two small dogs loved playing in the backyard. The location of the property was super close to a public beach access, just cross the street and walk across a small parking lot to get to the boardwalk. The property owner was extremely easy to communicate with and promptly responded to our questions. We would stay here again.

Charming house with yard and driveway

As others have mentioned, there is some light wear. This is a beach area property, so some is expected. Wonderful is how we described the property and our experience. Conveniently located. Looking forward to staying here again.

Great home and location in South Padre

Our stay at the Beach Pit was amazing. Jacob was very responsive from booking to check out. Home is a great bungalow with vintage charm and amazing amounts of windows to let the sun in. Beach access located right across the street. If desire to hang out at the house there is a deck with fenced in back yard. If you want to spend a great vacation in a great home away from home I would pick the Beach Pit....hope to be back soon!

This place is a real score

For the frugal yet discerning traveler, you can't beat this cozy spot. It's just across the street from public beach access, and one block from beachfront dining (Palms Cafe--decent food and drinks overlooking the beach). The street and neighborhood are peaceful and quiet, it felt like a lot of locals and families would be living there. The casita itself is absolutely adorable and the perfect size for a group of friends. The kitchen is fully stocked with the basics, and there is a big, beautiful table that would easily sit a party of eight. That said, we took all of our meals out back on the deck. The TV's have every entertainment platform imaginable, the furniture is comfortable and modern, the beds are heavenly, and the entire house is cleaned and well-maintained. One of our favorite features was all of the complimentary beach stuff provided by the owners. There was a beach wagon, umbrella, 2 beach chairs, and a bunch of boogie boards (such fun!!)--all stuff we would have had to rent otherwise. This is a thoughtful inclusion by the owners. Thank you for a great stay! We're coming back for sure.
