Este es un lugar encantador para escaparse con familiares y amigos. Esta hermosa casa adosada con mucho espacio para todos está a pocos pasos de la playa. Un lugar maravilloso para reunirse en el piso principal permite que todos estén juntos o las habitaciones privadas permiten espacio personal. Dos suites con camas king en cada una, baños conectados a habitaciones con dos camas individuales cada una. Una habitación del cuarto piso con una cama Queen tiene acceso a una gran cubierta de árboles. Brillante y aireado, esta escapada con cocina bien equipada será un lugar donde se harán recuerdos. La ubicación es asombrosa. Está al otro lado de la calle de The King and Prince Resort. Podrá caminar hasta BBQ, Crab Daddy's, The Crab Trap, Echo and the King and Prince bar o la tienda de licores. Es un corto paseo en bicicleta hasta el muelle, donde encontrarás todo tipo de diversión y comida.

This was our third time staying here and next year will be #4. We are Blessed to have such a nice and convenient place to stay and this home has many memories in our journey here on Earth.

Wonderful Stay

The main highlight of the property was it’s proximity to the beach! It’s a great residence for multiple people and was in overall in good condition. No complaints! Minor issues were making sure to not overload the washing machine, and a nonfunctional coffee maker.

Great house and location

We brought our family to come stay for a few days and loved the house! There were plenty of bedroom options to meet everyone's needs and the living/dining area was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies that made cooking our meals easy. We loved the location as the walk to the beach was easy and we could also easily walk to the pier and shops. Check in and out were both easy and we would definitely recommend this property to anyone!

Beautiful property

The property is great. lots of room and convenient to all of the action. The map doesn't show its exact location but is close to Kings condos. Nancy and her mother Sallie were great host. We will return.

Not impressed.

We were excited to come here as we have been to SSI 3 years in a row and have always loved it. The owner let us check in early which was nice, there were plenty of amenities for us, and the proximity to the beach was good. BUT it was very outdated (ok no biggy), it was very unclean and some lights don’t work, and it is not fit for children. There are hot electrical sockets without any covers on them in the floor in the bedrooms, and my 10 month old daughter got her finger shocked within 10 minutes of being there. Thank goodness that’s all that happened to her. The only reason we didn’t say something right away is because we didn’t want to be stranded 3.5 hours away from home with no where else to go. Very disappointed and will likely not be back to SSI from our experience this stay. This house needs a deep clean, some major electrical work and renovations before someone else gets hurt.

Golf outing with 7 old guys

We need a home with 7 beds for 7 guys on a golf outing trip. This house fit the bill, was close to the Village and restaurants. The beds was comfortable and there was plenty of linens to accommodate everyone. We didn’t use the kitchen, but it seemed to have everything you’d need. The house does have a lot of steps but we old guys managed to do alright with. There was a couple of restaurants you could actually walk to from the house.

Convenient location but dirty and dated

The property has plenty of space and is very convenient to the beach and some good restaurants. And the fireplace and easy-burn logs were nice as it was a bit chilly. And the price was good. But the place was dirty. The carpets had not been vacuumed. A mask and a takeout menu were on the floor next to items. Counters and pots and pans were sticky or grimy. Showers and Keurig had old water mineral scum. Doors were sticky and handles loose. We could not find the beach towels until we tried to dry the ones we brought — they had been left in the dryer and were still damp. The beach chairs and umbrella mentioned in other reviews were nowhere to be found. There is a nice balcony on the top floors — but no chairs or other furniture. Generally not kept up.

David, I don’t know how this happened. Before you came in, housekeeping was there and took pictures of a clean house. All floors have been replaced and the carpet has been removed. The chairs and beach beach things are located in the garage/storage area. It is a shame we were not in contact during your stay as we could have perhaps helped with making your stay better. The floors and the kitchen are renovated and a deep clean has been done. I’m sure it will be more to everyone’s liking. Thank you.

Stay was Ok

House is in a good location, walking distance to beach and a few restaurants, plenty of rooms for a large family. The house itself has a few issues. Downstairs bedrooms stayed very hot, even after turning the air down. My suggestion is to put another ac unit down there. It was very uncomfortable being hot and the last two nights of our stay, my husband and I and our 12 year old daughter couldn’t sleep down there because of the heat. Kitchen ceiling had a crack and leaked. The rooms have no closet space and are full of random stuff so, no place to put your clothes. Dresser in the downstairs bedroom was broken and hard to open. Upstairs there was clothes left in the dressers. There were toiletries such as shampoo and other things left on the bathrooms- I feel like these things shouldn’t be left. There was also food items left in the refrigerator which I put in the bottom drawer and the pantry was also full of food and other items so we had no space to put our things. In my opinion, if a cleaning fee is paid, I feel the house should be cleaned and cleared of all food and toiletry items left from the previous guests, to me it’s unsanitary leaving open containers of items. There is not enough parking, we were able to put two cars in the driveway but we had to park a third car down the street. I feel this is a detail that should be put in the description of the house. There are lots of stairs so keep that in mind, it may be hard for some people to have to go up and down daily.

Family Vacation

Let me get the negative out of the way first. When we arrived on Sunday the two trash cans out in front of the property where you park where overflowing with trash from previous renters. We know from the check in procedures that trash is only picked up on Tuesdays, so with 10 people staying for the week, this is going to be an issue with where to put trash that we accumulate until Tuesday. We placed two more bags on top of the cans & by Monday this had become an issue with flies & a horrible smell. Keep in mind that this is a very tight space for parking & where these cans are located, you have to walk past these entering & exiting the condo. Moving forward to when we came off the beach Tuesday afternoon, we immediately noticed that the trash had not been picked up. You could actually smell it from the corner. I notified the owner who said she would get in touch with the sanitation company. At this point, it is a nuisance & quite disgusting with the smell & the amount of flies around the area. But, I understand the owner didn't have control until I contacted her to let her know it was not picked up. She notified me that the sanitation company would be out that afternoon or first thing in the morning. So, we are moving into our 4th day with10 people accumulating trash with nowhere to put it. On Wednesday is where I have issue with the owner. Trash again was not picked up & I had to let her know. At that point I think the owner should have checked with not only myself but also the sanitation company to make sure it was done. It wasn't until I notified her on Wednesday that it wasn't picked up that she called the sanitation company. Their response was to see if we would deliver the trash to the local dump. (UNREAL) So, long story short, the trash that was left behind by the previous renters that had been sitting there for well over a week, was not picked up until Thursday morning, 5 days into our vacation. Now to the positive. This condo is all about location. Very nice short walk to the beach. The place is well spread out inside & very comfortable. Easily slept 10 adults. Kitchen was well stocked & the use of chairs & umbrella (by a few that forgot theirs) was a nice addition. The parking is very limited, there is only room to park 2 cars back to back in driveway. We had 5 separate vehicles because of everyone coming from different locations, but were able to park the 3 other cars a short walk away in front of the King & Prince. No big deal.

I’m so glad that you liked the location and that the house was well stocked. We try to make it a comfortable and easy with the chairs and umbrellas. I apologize again about the sanitation. We did call them every few hours in that period of time to see if we could make them do their job and we set up an appointment with an outside fellow to help if sanitation couldn’t get their act together. We have talked to housekeeping and we have a back plan in place. We hope that is not a problem again. Thank you for staying with us.

Great place for a large group

We loved our first time coming to Saint Simons! The beach is a short walk away and the area is super nice and quiet. There is a little ice cream shop on the way to the beach that is so neat for the kids to play. The beach house has stairs but we didn't mind at all. We liked that it had enough space if you need to go take a nap or just need some peace and quiet from everyone else. Over all our stay was great and we would look forward to coming back to stay away sometime

Week at the beach

The town house is very convenient to the beach and a few restaurants that are in walking distance. Great spot to hang out with family for the week! Plenty of room to spread out but lots of stairs to climb. I would rent this place again because of the short walk to beach and restaurants! Right next to masengale park and king and prince resort! Great location

Very good experience with renting house. Problems with 2 toilets but owner took care of having plumber come out the same day that I sent her a message. Beds were very comfortable. Furniture in family room was porch like furniture and could have been more comfortable. Overall - good location and plenty of room.

Good location, convenient

This is a great location. There was plenty of space for everyone. It was nice not to have to worry about bringing linens and towels. Lots of amenities but we were disappointed that we couldn't ride the bikes as all of the tires needed air but no way to pump the up. We had older family members with us. There are 3 flights of stairs. There are bedrooms on the lowest floor but you have to go up a flight of stairs to get to the living area. This was not ideal for my parents or anyone who might have issues climbing stairs. As a techy family, we found the outlets were in odd places and some difficult to access (on the floor under furniture). Because we had to shift some furniture we noticed that it is probably time for a deep spring cleaning. The townhouse was easy and convient to access with a key code. Hope the code is being changed before each rental. Although I have listed a few observations, none had a negative impact on our stay. We had a great time in St. Simon. Loved being able to walk to restaurants near by! Recommend Crab Daddys but call for a reservation. Barrier Island Brewing had some tasty craft beer. Short walk to the beach.

Family and friends vacation

This was a perfect house and perfect location to stay with family and friends. The only problem was that the bottom floor sliding door wouldn’t open. Other than that, everything was beyond perfect! Great location! We walked to the beach and restaurants everyday!

Perfect location, perfect vacation

This condo is located in a perfect location in easy walking distance to the beach as well as a number of popular restaurants near the King and Prince resort. It is extremely spacious and was well cleaned and fully stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies. There is room for two vehicles in the driveway, but our group was able to find ample overflow parking nearby, even during the very busy Memorial Day weekend. We would definitely stay here again.

three generations on the beach

A wonderful stacked house allowing both shared and private spaces. The well appointed, open plan kitchen supports a nice variety of cooking activities in the common area.. The geographic location offers proximity to both beach, and shops. What a great spot !

The property was perfect for our family! The kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of towels in the bathrooms, and tons of beach stuff to us! The house had a fun layout that was just right for us. The beach was super close too. My only critique, and a very small one, was the sliding doors to the balaconies need some TLC. They were difficult to maneuver. They seem to just need some lubrication or something. They didnt really affect our overall stay though. We loved the property and would ABSOLUTELY rent again!!!
