Nice Beachfront

This is a very nice property. Two Studios each with all you need. We slept in one, and lived out of the other. The beach is protected and gives a very secluded feel. The water was excellent, we could walk 100 yards (perhaps more) from the short and only be waist high in the water. Owners were great. Connected us with fishing, golf cart rental, cook and massage on property! Property manager was very responsive. Some observations. The house is quite a ways up the peninsula. There are groceries about 10 min south, but a better grocery store us just north of the airpot (Publics). We rented a golf cart to get to and from the airport and to get to and from restaurants. What we learned is that they limit the speed of the golf carts - for very valid safety reasons. We didn’t mind because we got to take in all the houses, the coast, the lagoon etc while in the golf cart. I think in the rainy season, we would get a car! We went to Maya Bistro, 1981, Green Parrot, the Brew Barge and the Placencia for meals. Enjoyed them all. Maya Bistro was best, followed by 1981. The whole Placencia peninsula is very laid back. Someone commented that it reminds you Key West 40 years ago. If you are looking to party hard, not your place. If you are looking to just relax and decompress, this is your spot.

This was the perfect anniversary celebration

From the beginning, we felt at home and welcome at the cabanas. The location made it easy to experience the entire peninsula of food and culture. We had the perfect balance of relaxation and peace and quiet and adventure. The cabanas were well stocked and furnished beautifully. We hope to be back soon.

Close and far away from everything simultaneously

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the cabanas. The property was clean, beautiful, private, and away from the busy city to create an oasis. We definitely suggest renting a kart or car as its about 15 minutes to head down to Placencia, but we thoroughly enjoyed not being in the city. The cabanas were quiet and simply well thought out. We seriously suggest getting breakfast from Maya Resort Bistro and dinner from Vern's in the Garifuna town. Definitely will be back to enjoy again!

Wonderful stay!

We loved our stay at the cabanas! Perfect for two couples; everything we needed. Cristina provided contacts for tours, fishing, catering, and even on site massages. Highly recommend this property.

Wonderful accomodations for couples

Oceanside cabanas is a great place for two couples. We enjoyed wading out from our cabana into the ocean, where we caught bone fish, snapper, jacks, ballyhoo and even a ray! The accommodations are first class. Make sure to have dinner at the Bonefish grill at the Singing Sands and 1981 at Naia resort.

Amazing Oceanside Cabanas

The Oceanside Cabanas are beautiful, well designed and in a great location! (easy 30 min into the Jaguar Preserve and in the opposite direction Placencia Village). The views from the property capture AMAZING sunrises on the beach and the view of the lagoon with Mayan mountains in the back -beautiful! First morning of our stay we saw a number of dolphins jumping out of the water right in front of the cabanas in the ocean. This was our 1st time in Belize and we were impressed with how much we got to experience during our 5 day stay; snorkeling trip to a beautiful Caye/Island, dining at some wonderful close by restaurants, visited Placenica to shop for local art, bird watching trip into the Red Bank rain forest, (we got to see the Macaws) visited a Mennonite community and bought vegetables, had a day of Flats Fishing where 2 Permit and (more Bonefish than we could count) were caught and released, and just some relaxation time enjoying the cabanas. Adam and Cristina were very helpful and responsive to any questions. Looking forward to going back and staying at the cabanas!

Gorgeous sunsets/sunrises

The cabanas were a wonderful way for two couples to share vacation time, while still having their own "space". The patio view, and space is absolutely gorgeous. The floor plan is open and allows for beautiful views of the sea and sunrise/sunset. Adam and Cristina were wonderful hosts, and provided details that enabled us to plan our trip ahead of time and they were very accommodating of questions, and providing immediate responses to questions. This was our first adventure to Belize, and we stayed 8 days. Would stay here again. Thank you Adam and Cristina for sharing your beautiful space with us.
