Ubicado a aproximadamente 5 millas del centro de Helen ------ Escondido en las montañas del norte de Georgia, encontrará que la cabaña "Sautee Woods" es todo lo que necesita para escapar del ajetreo y el bullicio de la rutina diaria. Esta cabina de lujo tiene un exterior de madera dura y una lengüeta y un interior de pino con surcos --- ventanas especiales traen el exterior, el interior. Una enorme chimenea de piedra apilada llega al cielo! Cocina totalmente equipada con cocina eléctrica, refrigerador con hielo y agua en la puerta, microondas, lavaplatos, y lavadora y secadora. Muebles a estrenar y tubo caliente añadido en 2018. Asegúrese de revisar nuestra cabaña hermana en la calle "OAKRIDGE", VRBO # 735289.

Sautee Woods cabin was a great home base for our adventures around the Sautee Nacoochee and Helen areas. The host was very easy to communicate with, the cabin was just as pictured, and the drive up to it was easily accessible. It was plenty spacious for 5 of us. The kids loved their own space in the bunk bed room, and we could all gather in the common area for games and dinner around the table. Would stay again!!

Very nice chalet with plenty of room and in great condition. Used the hot tub once. It was very clean and well maintained. The host was very pleasant and easy to work with. Enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend this place. In a quiet area only about 10 mins. drive from Helen, GA.

This is a fantastic place to stay. Extremely clean and has everything you need. We really enjoyed the hot tub and real fire place. It’s in a great location also. Quiet but still close enough to things. Steve has great communication. I would highly recommend.

The house smelled very strongly of wood smoke when we checked in. I do not know if the fireplace had inadequate ventilation or if the previous tenants did something wrong. We did not use the fireplace and spent the entire stay trying to air the house out. After we left, all of our clothing and luggage smelled strongly of wood smoke and we had to air everything out for several days.

We are so sorry you had an unpleasant experience at our cabin. After hearing of this , I had my chimney sweep service come to check out fireplace. They did clean the chimney and moved fire grate to the back of fireplace but said everything was in working order. Sometimes after a heavy or prolonged rain , it can smell “smoky”, I’m afraid that’s the nature of a real wood burning fireplace. Again , our apologies, Steve

This cabin was everything our hearts could have imagined! I would just bring a baby gate with you like we did if you have a little one. The host was as quick as lightening with responding to any of our questions and the cabin was stocked with anything we needed. If we weren’t planning a Disney vacation for next year we would have booked it again for sure!

My family enjoyed staying here very much! It was absolutely perfect for 5 people. The kids were thrilled about their own room upstairs and having a hot tub as well. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals with the food we brought. The charcoal grill was an added bonus. Our host was extremely easy to deal with and suggested many things in the area that we actually did and enjoyed. Our kids didn’t want to leave. Definitely recommend and we will be planning more trips in the future.

Pro's, awesome location to exploring the area. The cabin is well stocked with dishes. The layout is really accommodating. The Host was easy to contact and answer all my questions. Con's, dirty, it does not get deep cleaned at all. Could not use the broom or dustpan myself it was useless. The hot tub had issues that I was told about a day before check in, however it could still be used and the Host refunded me partially for the inconvenience. But because the place was so dirty I didn't trust the hot tub would be clean so we didn't use it. The furniture is so uncomfortable all of us were sore after leaving. Both trashcans on site were already full so we had to store our trash where the hot tub sits. The appliances are so old we didn't know if we should use them! For the price we paid I think we could do better and probably would not chose this place again. I don't know why in general these rentals are not cleaned better. If they did a deep cleaning and changed the furniture it would help. None of this ruined our trip though, it's just honest feed back.

We try to make every stay a pleasant one for all our guest, Sometimes things happen when you least expect it like the hot tub issue --and being in the middle of the holidays ---for that we are truly sorry. As far as the appliances go, they are all in working order. Im not sure why you were afraid to use them. I normally would not do this but I will have to disagree about the furniture being uncomfortable. Our family is in the furniture business and we strive to furnish our cabins with quality Beds, bedding, sofas, recliners, rockers, gliders, and accessories. We are sorry you felt cabin was not clean. I will reach out to our housekeeping staff with those concerns. Steve

Cute cabin in the woods

Absolutely perfect cabin for our family. Very inviting and relaxing. We enjoyed everything about the cabin - from the small balcony to the hot tub. We loved the fact that there was a charge onsite for our Tesla. We had our cord with us to plug in, so it made it easier.

We have always enjoyed making trips to North Ga. when we were young. Our Father use to rent a pop-up camper every summer and take us to the mountains! Those really are fond memories. Anne and I have always dreamed of one day having a place of our own in this beautiful area of the state---Once I talked my brother and sister in-law to going in with us on this venture---we purchased "OAK RIDGE" located across the street. When this property "Sautee Woods" became available---well it just seemed the perfect fit for our families. they are within walking distance to each other. Over the years we have continued the memories of going to the mountains---and now with both cabins--there is plenty of room for our children and grand children.

The first time we entered "SAUTEE WOODS", it reminded us of our beloved cabin "OAKRIDGE" across the street. We loved the massive stacked stone fire place and tongue and groove walls and ceiling. There is a quaint balcony off the up stairs bedroom, perfect for morning coffee. Another feature we enjoy is the wrap-a-around deck---where you can enjoy a game of cornhole or just enjoy the beauty of the thick forest---It's just Beautiful! and the cabin is comfy and cozy!
