My in-laws live in Houston. We haven’t been down in about 3 years. We live in Arkansas. When we come we usually get a hotel room or condo this time I wanted more bc we celebrated our daughter’s 8th birthday. This house was everything and more!! So much room inside then you have the balcony and underneath too. Walking distance to the beach. Would recommend this house for anyone who has fur babies they take everywhere with them! Will definitely be back!!

Such a great stay for family & friends!

We loved the sand beach volleyball and the outdoor grilling/ fire pit area it was perfect for my birthday! We were able to walk to the beach. Such a fun stay!

Family that needed a vacation

Several things inside and outside the house needed repaired or replaced. The washer and dryer had soured towels and sheets left from the previous renters when we arrived. The dishwasher did not clean the dishes. We handwashed all week. No loungers as listed, no work station other than the kitchen island. Only tables to eat at are outside on the deck.

Older but clean

This west end Galveston house is older but very clean and well equipped. Only one bathroom and no tub/shower only, but there is a outside shower to rinse the beach off. Washer and dryer, and fully functioning kitchen. I did wish for more than one bar stool, as there is no dining set. Lots of living room, plenty of beds, and really cold air. 3 tvs, great internet, and outside kitchen/bar/firepit/volleyball. 2 sets of stairs and a ramp, which was great for our dogs. I’d love to stay there again.

Amazing!

We had a wonderful experience and will most likely book again in the future! My daughter had a small get together with some friends for her birthday and everyone had a great time. Host was quick to respond, so sweet, and super helpful with everything. Definitely recommend!

Memorable Weekend

Had a beautiful small wedding here. The backyard was amazing having the covered area. Location is close to the beach and the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home! Extra points for the ramp as our Great Dane is terrified of stairs!! The owner is the most responsive I’ve ever had the pleasure of interacting with! 10/10 definitely recommend this home!!

Great Sea Isle Location

The cabin was clean and comfortable, and the host was very helpful and responsive. The location was easily walkable to the West End Bar & Grill. My wife and I and our dog enjoyed our stay.

I woukd NOT recommend this property, period.

Upon entry, I tripped over a raised floor in the entryway that was not marked. Fell down and hurt my hip. The property was very cold, when we turned heat on and waited 2 hours, it was not working. Temp in property was 61 degrees, it never raised . We called property owner and 2 other numbers she had given us, no answer, left message. No one returned our call, finally after 2 hours we called property owner again, she finally answered. Said she was attempting to get someone to come see about problem, but since it was Thanksgiving, did not think it was possible. She would send someone with some space heaters . We also told her that the dishwasher had a LAMINATED sign on it saying it was not working, she claimed not to know about that. 4 adults for Thanksgiving with no dishwasher was a real pain! We had to sit directly in front of heaters to stay warm. The bathroom was so small, we could barely turnaround. There was a myriad of light switches, none labeled, it was like playing Russian Roulette trying to turn lights on and off. The paint on many walls was scuffed up badly and the kitchen cupboards needed a repaint badly!! I have had better stays in Motel 6, it CERTAINLY was not worth the money we paid for 2 nights. Do NOT stay here .

Charming house

Great house, i love the deck space. We couldn’t open the storm shutters to the smaller deck, but not a big deal as we only stayed a couple nights. Bed was comfy enough. I would stay here again if we bring our family next time

Awesome environment with fun times

This property was beautiful, from the volleyball net, to the porch and deck below. I celebrated my 21st here and don’t regret it one bit. The host was amazing and helpful from Check in to check out. 10/10 would rent from this host again :)

Family Vacay 2023

This place was perfect for meeting our needs during our family Vacation! Amenities were accurate and pleasant! Bridgette was great at communication and our kids had the time of their lives! The public beach access is within walking distance or you can drive there easy peasy! The kids had a blast playing volleyball and chasing crabs during the evening on the beach. There was plenty of room to sleep for all 8 of us, appliances worked and you know when you go to the beach several times you need to shower often and we never ran out of towels! Everything was easily accessible, recommend the marina on Friday night for Karaoke and you can have your meal there right on the bay! 10/10!!

Great getaway spot in Galveston

We had a great time. Short walk to the beach and a nice, quiet neighborhood. The best part was the owner. She was fantastic and easy to communicate with. Extra helpful with some nice touches at the house. Bring a volleyball to enjoy the beach court at the house.

Wonderful Vacation Spot!

Stayed for 1 week. House is spacious and had everything we needed. Loved the large deck outside. We ate most of our meals out there and enjoyed the evening breeze from the gulf. Our granddaughter that is in a wheelchair was easily able to move around the family rooms. Bathroom shower was too small for her, so she used the outside shower which easily accommodated her shower chair. She had a blast and really didnt want to leave. Will definitely rent again if available for our next vacation!
