¡Esta es una casa bellamente remodelada sentada en un canal perfecto para pescar cangrejos y nadar y toda la diversión familiar! El gran patio está cerrado para que sus mascotas corran libremente. Hay un deslizamiento para aquellos que quieran pescar en la bahía. La primera habitación tiene una cama king cómoda, mientras que la segunda habitación es ideal para toda una familia o solo para los niños. Cuenta con una cama doble, 2 gemelos y un futón más un televisor. ¡Es lo mejor de ambos mundos, siéntese cerca del agua y tome un corto trayecto de 3 minutos hasta la playa!

Overall we had a good relaxing time, the only downside on the trip was the weather cold and very windy and no fish. The house was in good condition and all the amenities were good.

Highly recommend this property! We had a wonderful weekend. Well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, bathroom was nice and clean, lots of outdoor space to hangout and a good yard for the pups. Great communication with the owner also!

Best hideout in Jamaica Beach

The property manager was great and the house was even better. It had everything we needed for a few day getaway. All the Neighbors on the canal were all super nice as well.

Excellent Stay

The property was everything it was advertised. It was extremely clean and well kept. The bedrooms were somewhat small, but the areas that counted .. the kitchen and living area and the outside were amazing. We enjoyed fishing from the porch and was just a short drive from all of Galveston’s “to dos”. We would definitely stay again! Thanks Amy for a great experience!

Nice, quiet and relaxing

Great property in a quiet neighborhood on the canal. Plenty of space down stairs for additional family that visited during the day. We kayaked, fished and crabbed and definitely relaxed. The yard is completely fenced which was great for our doodle. Laid back lake feel with the perk of the beach just a short drive away. Great time!

Spring Break 2023

We had a lovely time. The house was styled/updated nicely and very clean. It was the perfect size for our family of 4 with room to spare. It was chilly and rainy so we didn’t get to use the kayaks or enjoy the outside as much as we would have liked but the deck and downstairs would be so enjoyable during warmer weather. Overall, a nice place to stay in Jamaica.

Will definitely stay here again.

The house was the perfect size for our family. Very clean and had anything and everything we needed. We stay in rentals alot and this is the first one that I honestly only needed to bring food and our fishing gear. Everything else was provided. The bay was amazing and again Amy provides so many things you would need to bbq, kyate, lounge ( love the hammock ), or play on the beach. We definitely utilized the outdoor shower as well. Amy is great with communication and even let us know when the house was ready a few mins early. My family is still talking about how much fun we had. Thank you for everything.

Wonderful time

Thank you very much for allowing us to use your property for the week. We had a great time. The property was very nicely maintained with plenty of amenities to make anyone's stay a delight. Enjoyed being able to park our seadoo in the slip thank you very much for that. AC worked just fine we brought fans as well. Just a short ride from the beach and pretty much anything you need for groceries and the shrimp tacos at the Taco truck up the street were great. We hope we left it in as good a shape as it was in before and plan to make it an annual trip with our family that rented a larger location a street over which they enjoyed as well. Oh and the outside shower is the best.

Awesome place! Very peaceful and relaxing!

Wow!!! Everything is awesome about this place. This is one of the best places we have ever rented. The home is beautiful, clean, relaxing, and has everything we needed from pet accommodation to cooking needs, watching TV, WI-FI connection etc. Our pups love the yard space where they can run and play, and they also love relaxing and watching the canal over the deck. Amy, the owner of the rental is superb in getting all my questions answered fast, and offered great hospitality!! Thank you, Amy for everything!! We hope to rent your place again in the Summer. Very lovely and special memories made our pups during our stay. ❤️🐾🐶🐠🌴🏠❤️

Nice house on the water

My family enjoyed our time at this house very much. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We loved having the boat lift to store our boat, which made it very easy to go out fishing in the bay. Check-in was very easy and we had no problems while we were there. The only disappointing thing was that the fenced yard had so many holes and openings that our dog could have easily gotten out. So we ended up having to walk her on a leash instead of letting her run in the yard. The fenced yard was a selling point for us so it would be worth noting that the fence doesn’t work for small dogs. Otherwise the house was great.

Good Trip

The property was well cleaned before arrival. Fishing on the canal was really fun , caught good sized fish. Enjoyed the weekend stay , I will for sure come back again to this amazing place.

We had a good time. We enjoyed being on the canal. The kids enjoyed checking the crab trap and using the kayaks. The house was clean. Amy was very helpful.

I grew up in Sugar Land, TX. I spent many weekends visiting Galveston growing up. My husband and I graduated from Texas A&M Galveston and that is where we fell in love with the Island life. We have three children, two dogs and one cat. We have lived abroad and that is when we were blessed enough to buy a vacation home in Jamaica Beach and now share it with others to love as much as we do.

Welcome to our beautiful home! Our house is situated on a canal that is perfect for swimming, fishing and catching crabs. Crab trap included and if that’s not your thing then just hang out, listen to music and enjoy the views. It is a quiet street so perfect for families or couples.
The kitchen has all your cooking needs including a kuerig and a coffee pot. There are plenty of pots, pans, dishes and more to enjoy a night in.
We are shaded downstairs all day with a nice breeze most of the time. Downstairs there are two tables for plenty of seating whether you are bbqing (grill included) or trying your luck at fishing. There is an enclosed shower with hot and cold water to rinse off after a day at the beach. Sand toys and two children life vest are included in the brown box near the shower for your convenience.

The upstairs deck is spacious and a great place to sit at night while enjoying the breeze. Please know that the canal is shallow so do not jump off the top deck for your safety.
We love to spend the day in the canal floating on rafts and swimming. Please be mindful the bulkheads do have oyster shells so use the ladder to avoid any scratches.

The beach is just a quick 5 minute drive away.

Jamaica Beach is its own community filled with restaurants, a bar, a coffee and wine bar, two gas stations that have hot food and all your basic needs.

There are so many fun things to do in Galveston (Schlitterbahn Waterpark Galveston, Moody Gardens, Children Museums, Tours, The Strand, Opera House, Pleasure Pier and more).

A boat lift is available. Please enquire prior to ensure your boat does fit in the lift.

Pet policy: We are a family of pet lovers and wouldn’t make you think of leaving them home. Please notify of pets you intend to bring in advance and kindly pick up after them before leaving. Please be kind and note of any damages pets may make so we can fix before the next renters.
