Thanksgiving Getaway

We had a very enjoyable stay! The location was really great. It was just a couple minute walk to the beach access. It's the last beach access before the national shoreline, so it's much quieter part of the beach. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare a Thanksgiving meal. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of seating in the living space.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great rental, nice and clean. Short walk or bike ride to the beach. The house did provide 4 adult bikes which was a nice surprise. Also a beach umbrella and wagon. Only issue was the timer on the stove did not work, which I finally figured out after burning 3 different meals, and the oven inside light did not work either. Besides that, the house was wonderful.

Great stay!

Writing this review a year late because it slipped my mind. Property was beautiful and had good view of the water with the open lot across the street and a great view of the bay on the back deck. More than enough room inside for the kids to play. Beach access was very close and easy to get to! During the day the beach was amazing, the ocean just brought the seashells to you with every wave. At night it was awesome seeing so many crabs everywhere we shined our lights. Will definitely come back to this property!

Nice clean bedrooms and a great open area to visit. Access to the beach wasn't across the road like the brochure you have you believe but it wasn't too far. Overall a great weekend.

GREAT proximity to the beach!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was in a great location and super close to the beach without paying to be “on” the beach. And because it’s the last public beach access before the National Shoreline and you are on the opposite end of the high rise condos, there is plenty of room for you and your family on the beach at any time of the day or night. You can see the gulf from the front porch between the houses across the street, but best of all, you can hear the waves from the front porch! There is a sound view from the back deck. Lots of room and great setup in the house and great selection of cookware, plates and utensils in the kitchen. Rental agency was quick to respond when the garbage disposal wasn’t working...literally showed up 15 minutes after messaging them. House was stocked with a wagon, chairs and toys for the beach which was an added bonus! Gave 3 stars for furniture because the bunk beds were cheap and squeaky but everything else was perfect!

Family vacation at ParrotEyes, Navarre Beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall our family vacation at the house at ParrotEyes was Okay. The outside needs some attention to paint and some cleaning, the bathrooms are very small. The kitchen faucet was very tricky at cutting the water back off after each use,and the Master bedroom needs new black out curtains. The Good is that it has a Great view of the beach from the spacious front deck, the beds, sofa's and chair and gatherings around the dining table were a plus.The garage below with and extra Frigidaire/Freezer and bathroom and shower was very nice and convenient.plenty of parking for our 3 cars and kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and washer and Dryer was useful.

Great Experience at Parrot-Eyes Cove!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an excellent time at Parrot-Eyes Cove! We rented the home with another family. The home was plenty spacious enough for both of our families. The layout worked well for parents and kids. The kitchen was laid out well and functional. Having the extra full bath downstairs was very helpful.There was plenty of space for parking, including the garage and carport. There are a few things that need to be updated or fixed in the home (i.e. the sliding glass doors did not work, the blinds in the bedrooms did not open and close, and the couch is worn out). However, none of these were big issues. The best thing about the home is the location. It is right across the street from the beach. It is an excellent spot and very convenient. Also, the location is far away from the large condos so it is not nearly as crowded as some other areas. The Pensacola board walk is an easy drive right down the road. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely rent this home again!

Vacation 2023

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we enjoyed the house. It was extremely disappointing that we were not notified that there would be construction on two houses across from us. One of the houses is in the process of being built so that completely took away the view that’s shown in pictures. The only other major issue was the fact that the lights for the stairs outside didn’t work so there were black tread things on some of the steps and the first few days were literally had to count the steps because with that black there in the dark it made it hard to see where the steps ended. Hopefully something is done about this before someone falls! And hopefully the pictures are updated to show the current outside of the house so people know there’s not a view from the patio area anymore. Navarre was a great place to stay and we did enjoy the restaurants and the beautiful water. Saw dolphins and a sea turtle rescue too so it was a fun vacation!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I personally would not recommend. The living room is much smaller than the photos make it appear and the furniture is ripped and not it the best of condition. The master bath is TINY and you could barely shut the door. The largest issue was the fact that it did not have direct beach access across the road. Instead it’s four houses down and then across the road with the rest of the public. With that being said we had to spend another $775 to rent golf carts. The outside of the house is definitely not keep up as well. The back deck needs to be replaced and the thorn vine growing up the stairs needs to be cut down.

Reviewer Comments: Three generations of us celebrated my husband's 80th birthday at Paradise Cove and had a fabulous time enjoying walks on the beach, football & the World Series, cooking together, and separate time for games and painting on the deck--a view of the last vacant lot on Gulf Blvd--which I painted because it was our beautiful clear view of the Gulf. We booked late so we couldn't get a house on the Gulf side of the main road, but we were more than pleased with what we had! Everyone had plenty of room and the house was well-equipped except for the grill which had rendered great service all season. It was not up to a seafood feast we had in mind, but the management delivered a big, shiny new replacement as soon as we let them know. An added bonus: Pet friendly so our little miniature long-haired granddog didn't have to miss the fun! Great service and hospitality! We can definitely recommend this house and the management to others.

FRAN Vacay

College friends, parent, siblings and one little one. We wanted to vacation on the beach together and this place was PERFECT!! We loved Navarre, it's a perfect quieter location for those of us not wanting the constant hussle and bussle of a lot of beach destinations ...yet close enough to Destin and Pensacola to make a couple day trips in for fun activities. LOVE LOVE LOVE this house and location!!

Perfect family and pet beach house!

We had a family gathering along with our little doxies and this house was perfect for us. A short walk to the beach access (about 4 houses down) was quick and easy. Everything we needed was provided and the layout of the bedrooms was ideal. It was clean and check in and out was very easy. We recommend this home for families or a large group (especially those who travel with their fur babies).

Perfect family house

We were here because my sister was getting married about 20 minutes down the road. It was the perfect size for my parents my sister who flew from Colorado my grandmother and my husband and myself . The house was very clean , smelled nice and had everything we needed . I will definitely be looking to book this property in the future to bring other friends and family down . Thank you for the early check in as we had to get my sister from the airport at the same time as check in and a late check out so we could all enjoy a little extra time together . This will be the last time we see my youngest sister until next year . To anyone looking this is one of the best properties I’ve ever stayed at !

Parrot’s Eye is a Pearl

We are driving home after a fantastic week long stay at Parrot’s Eye. This house was clean and cozy and had all the tools we needed to cook our meals. It was the perfect size for our party of 10 which included 8 adults and 2 pre-teens. A short walk to the beach for hours of fun and an easy drive to “off island” activities make it very convenient. Highly recommend!

The layout was really efficient with the bedrooms on the ends of the house with sliding glass doors in each bedroom. It was clean with blankets and plenty of towels for our stay. Paradise Beach was friendly and communicated promptly. Check in was a breeze. Plan to bring or purchase cooking spices. Great stock of kitchen cookware. Very safe location - Loved Navarre! House was a Good value for the price. The only thing we would have enjoyed is working screen doors for each of the sliding doors.

Christmas at the beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Outstanding, just like last year.
