Siéntese en el porche delantero pintado de una casa de fusiles de estilo italiano en el lugar de nacimiento de Jazz. Se ha renovado para ofrecer todas las comodidades modernas, pero aún queda mucho encanto victoriano en las chimeneas originales, los adornos de madera y las bañeras con patas.

La casa exuda el encanto del viejo mundo: puertas francesas, chimeneas, techos altos, veranda y patio sombreado.

Treme es un barrio histórico, y el lugar de nacimiento del jazz. La ubicación cómoda y segura está cerca de toda la acción, pero se retira lo suficiente para descansar y relajarse. Cerca se encuentran Le Petit Jazz Museum, Lil Dizzy s Cafe y Rampart Streetcar.

Daniel’s Treme shotgun property was perfection! A beautiful home on a quiet street with a variety of wonderful hotspots within very easy walking distance. The interior is comfortably and beautifully curated. With thoughtful touches throughout ( and soooo many towels:) ). 10/10 will return.

This house was amazing. We stayed here for our wedding and it was a nice location, quiet and clean. The house was so cute. We ended up doing our first look pictures outside the house because it so pretty.

Great place, great location, great hosts. Stayed here with my bf and another couple and this was a perfect landing spot and place to hang together in the evenings. Highly recommend.

We loved this property! It is in the absolute perfect walking distance to everything. The property itself is in perfect condition, with lots of room to sit and relax or sit on the front or back porch. The kitchen has everything needed. The house is historic and well maintained, we had zero issues. Wifi worked without issue. Shared laundry if needed. The host was awesome.The interaction for check in and out were spot on, and the list of restaurants and suggestions were all valued. We loved it here and will return to it!

Clean, easy parking, good location to walk to the French Quarter (about 15 minutes). We enjoyed our stay. The only thing was that you share a wall with another vacation rental, and it's easy to hear loud guests.

I had a wonderful stay at this dreamy shotgun house in Treme! The location was perfect — close to everything we wanted to see and do — and the house itself was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The free parking was easy to access, which made coming and going stress-free.The space felt so warm and welcoming that it truly felt like a home away from home. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and every detail seemed thoughtfully considered to make our stay comfortable.I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting New Orleans.

Our worst nightmare. I chose this VRBO based on photos, descriptions & reviews on the VRBO/New Orleans site for: myself, my husband & our adult grandson. Walking in & seeing the actual property was disturbing & shocking. It barely resembles what is posted on the website. Issues: filthy front door-obviously broken into multiple times & not fixed, nor safe in current condition; paper thin bath towels; dirty nasty chairs; gross dirty pillows; cracked peeling paint everywhere; filthy dirty window curtain; dirty windows; dangerous ceiling fan & light ready to detach from the ceiling; 3 unusable fireplaces all closed up w/paint cracked, peeling & filthy dirty; tv that works on & off; a piece of furniture in the bathroom that has springs broken & exposed; dirty wash cloth in the bathroom; a DVR player that was returned by a fireman who said it had been at the fire dept. for a long time & no one ever showed up to take it back; no useable back yard that is unkept; front yard overgrown & in complete disarray. Daniel was friendly until I contacted him after one night re:concerns & then he became belligerent, rude & dismissive. Due to the messy unkept conditions of the entire property, he offered us a full refund. Fortunately, we found a different vacation rental, however, it took the entire day w/VRBO & Daniel for a refund confirmation. Daniel continued blaming VRBO & VRBO told me Daniel had not approved the refund. This property shld not be listed until it is cleaned up & made safe.
Broken into front door & lock- unfixed.
Piece of furniture in bathroom w/broken exposed springs.
Fireplace in bedroom that is unusable & filthy dirty.
A hanging mirror- potentially dangerous with cracked exposed wood.

Enjoyed our NOLA visit! Loved the property - felt very authentic staying in a New Orleans shotgun home - lots of character! Great location for us. Really appreciated the extra towels, blankets and many thoughtful amenities for use. The dogs enjoyed our walk to the beautiful Armstrong park! Thank you Dan for being a great host! Highly recommend!

Charming property in amazing location

This place is gorgeous! So much character, thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable. Dan was a brilliant host - responsive and gave loads of top tips about New Orleans which made our stay very memorable. Highly recommend!

Great stay in Treme.

The unit was clean, well furnished and had plenty of room. Really enjoyed the location and being able to walk to French quarter. Checking in and out was easy and host was very communicative. Would definitely stay again.

Shotgun House Mystery

We are four senior travelers who were very excited to see New Orleans. Upon our arrival, Dan came out to meet us. He told us where to go eat and was very welcoming. We had been traveling from Arizona and needed to do laundry right away. To our surprise there was a note on the door saying, shared laundry and clothes piled all over the top of dryer. The lady next door happened to come out and i asked if they were hers, she said no. My husband went next door and knocked on Dan’s door as to inquire what we should do with the clothes. Dan immediately became rude because he knocked instead of ringing doorbell. He then asked me if I had went up and down the street knocking on doors? I replied, I haven’t knocked on any doors. They were his clothes!! We were not informed about a shared laundry. His listing is very misleading. This was a very different Dan than we had originally met. The house itself is a cute shotgun house, however it was filthy. I have sent photos so you can see for yourself. The listing said dishwasher and grill, which there was neither. The back of the house, which he describes as a veranda, was a different picture than what it is. The picture was of his back yard not this back yard!! I have enclosed pictures so you can see the rotting picnic table and benches, the messy patio, and the broken down bikes that were thrown against the broken down fence. The home was very quaint, clean and decorated eclectically exactly like the pictures. The backyard does not have any grass and there is a shared laundry room and front and back patio to the next door neighbors. The home is amongst a gentrification area that has rehab homes but still some sketchy homes and locals. We contacted the host to ask about safety in the area and he was very responsive to assure us in his experience he had not had any issues. In our experience we saw several homeless people near the street corner, lots of foot traffic late into the night and homeless and riff raff in the vacant lot and boarded house across the street. We also heard gun shots late at night about 2 streets over. Even though we traveled with our dog there wasn’t really an area to walk her to use the restroom and my husband didn’t feel safe taking her out at night very long. The home is easy to get to and off the highway about 1 block, we were able to find street parking in front of the home each time we left. We enjoyed the home overall and it looks exactly like the pictures, I just wish I researched the area more so we felt safer having our young child with us. The host is extremely responsive and kind.
