Relaxing long weekend

Kandahar was great for a family getaway. We did not realize condo at foot of Mt. Cranmore. If you’re a skier- this is a wow location for winter. Very clean and comfortable. A fantastic game cupboard! ( we love us some fun games ) The area very quiet although near a lot that’s happening.

EXCELLENT!

We had a WONDERFUL time at this property. It was SO clean and very spacious. The only small blips we had were an issue with the lock box and losing WiFi one evening (which we relied on because cell service is spotty) but they were very responsive to questions. The house was well stocked with clean linens and so many extras (crock pot, additional kitchen items, games, etc...). The pool was nice, needs a little updating but did it's job. We have been waiting to find a property that we loved so much that we would come back and visit. THIS IS IT! Perfect for large groups!

A Perfect Getaway

I would give this place more stars if I could. The place was very clean and spacious for our family and grandparents. It was located just 5 minutes from downtown North Conway and situated where you can take a back road around the downtown area if you wanted to skip the traffic. Also Storyland was only 10 minutes from away so when it was really hot, I could take my youngest back to the condo to cool off and take a nap, then head back to the park quickly. We had a couple of rain days but it wasn’t bad since the kids had plenty of space at the unit to have fun and the board games were a big plus. Most of the bedrooms and common areas had ductless AC units too which kept us comfortable our whole stay. Definitely booking this place again next year!

Beautiful place to vacation

The location was close to everything. The accommodations were excellent. My family and I enjoyed the comfort of home. The kitchen was stocked, plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms. The only negative was wifi TV service especially in the bedrooms and one bedroom had no AC.

Great 2nd stay!

Our family came back for a 2nd stay after we had such a good time last year. There’s so much to do in North Conway, the house is spacious, and the kids loved the easy pool access.

Great Rental

3 levels...we had 6 adults and 3 kids yet didnt feel crowded. Very clean, fun pool. A very wuiet neighborhood yet close to downtown North Conway. A perfect family getaway

Annual family vacation

We are always looking for a place that is close to Santa’s and whales tale but a great place for adults to relax while kids have their own space. This spot was great. We didn’t get to use the pool bc weather didn’t cooperate

One of the Best NH Rentals

We like to visit different places during our yearly NH stays, but we might just keep coming back here from now on....The easy check in, (very much needed) central air conditioning, pristine property, quick response from the property manager, and quiet and beautiful setting will keep us coming back! The check in is with a lock box. There were three available keys, which was perfect if you have more than one family who will need a key. You don't have to being anything other than your clothes, toiletries and electronics, because this house is stocked to the brim with cooking instruments, utensils, pots and pans, some spices, serving dishes of all kinds...etc....Even the towels, blankets, and pillows were plentiful. The central air was a necessity on days like we had (in the high 90's and humid)!!! I will not stay at a place without air conditioning, because I physically get ill if it's too warm. That can ruin a vacation quickly! The apartment was quiet and nicely secluded,. Thank you for providing such a nice home to enjoy our vacation!

Great place and great service

Vacasa was a pleasure to deal with from booking to check out. Everything was simple. The property was very clean and well maintained. This condo had plenty of room for two families with children. We highly recommend it!

NH Getaway

Nicely furnished and maintained. Great location - around the corner from Cranmore resort and very close to downtown North Conway yet very quiet. The condo is among a small number of similar condos on a quiet wooded lane.

Relaxing getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at this roomy, clean condo in Conway! We were pleased with the level of cleanliness and comfort and had plenty of space. There were a few minor issues (broken toaster and microwave; unclear owner instructions about the heating and WiFi) and the Vacasa staff attended to everything within minutes of our calling them - they were friendly, helpful, responsive, and professional. The pool was clean and inviting and my family loved every minute in it. The kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy our homemade breakfasts and take-out dinners. The condo is very conveniently located to all the local attractions and our favorite Conway restaurants. It was our first getaway since the pandemic started and the Vacasa team ensured we had a lovely time - highly recommend it!

Very nice "homey" home

I stayed with my 2 teenage kids and another family member amd her 3 kids. The house was very comfortable and had most everything one would need. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that there was a grill after being told that there wasn't. It makes it very convenient to be able to cook in rather than go out every night. The house is appointed with many personal family items such as pictures and the like but we found it to be a nice touch. The only minor complaints were that we had some challenges getting things to work such as fans and the air conditioners never really kept the place cool enough. Also the television was strange. Finally I chose this home largely because of the pool however when I found the pool it seemed rather remote and not all that inviting and we never ended up using it. Other than those few things it was a great stay and a lovely home. Vacasa was extremely responsive to every question we had which is an extra Plus. Thank you!

Vacation at Mt Cranmore

We all really enjoyed the vacation home away from home, it had all the comforts of home and plenty of room for the families to spread out in! It’s close to a lot of the local attractions. Our group particularly enjoyed all that Mt. Cranmore had to offer, fantastic views going up to the top and back down on the gondola, other activities included the swing, tubing,mountain coaster and soaring eagle zip line, finished off with a swim in the pool. Also close to restaurants, although our first night was pizza at the condo and game night, which the condo has a great selection to choose from!! Making for some great family memories!!

Home away from Home!

We had a pleasant stay at Katahdin Condo! A great place for families. We were very comfortable there. Ample sleeping for all with many options for families. The check-in process was a little shaky in that we were rookies and had trouble getting the lock box open. Once we got the key out and opened the door we found out that alarm was engaged and it went off! The police came and the Cranmore property manager and they were both very nice and helpful. We got everything worked out and had no further problems. We also called the Vrbo number and they were also very helpful.. The only problem with the listing was that after reading it I was under the impression that it was central air and not window units. In any case it all worked out fine. The location was great. Very peaceful and hardly anyone around. We spent a little time at the pool and the grandkids had a blast! They are little but enjoyed checking out all the games in the cabinet! Lots of selections for kids to play with! Overall we had a great visit! Lots to do! Great places to eat and Santa’s Village and Storyland never disappoint also hiking at Diana’s Bath and don’t miss Zeb’s General Store in North Conway. We would definitely rent this property again!

We had a great time staying here. Plenty of room for all 8 of us. Beautiful home with great amenities. A few bumps at the start were quickly remedied by Dave without hesitation. I would recommend any family stay here for their next vacation in North Conway. Only addition I would recommend is an A/C for the living room area.
