We had a nice relaxing stay with our 5 weeks here in Waikiki. The condo was clean and seemed to have everything we needed and we would probably stay here again. we liked the building and it's location.

Gorgeous views and great location and amenities

This apartment had everything we needed and a comfy bed. We loved the big window that looks out to the mountains and the canal as well as the lanai with partial ocean view. The location is great. It’s a 10 minute walk to the beach and all the things. The pool and hot tub were a great way to end the day.

Lovely condo, great location, beautiful views

We would stay here again. This was the perfect couples getaway. The views are beautiful from both the living room as well as the balcony. There is a full kitchen. The condo was clean with some nice personal touches. The building itself is great with both amenities, pool, hot tub, small store and the building employees are helpful and nice. The location was perfect - you're a short walk to the beach, amazing restaurants, bus or rentals. We had such a lovely getaway! Thanks so much!

A little worn down?

Clean. Plenty of towels. Good bed. Nice balcony and diamond head view. Nice pool and whirlpool, good laundry machines. Plenty of places ti enjoy sun, shade breezes and grills around pool. I hate 10am check out. Minimalist silverware and pates. Worn and torn sofa cushions. Sofa springs are sprung. TV small. Art on walls flaps and clatters when any windows are open.

Mesmerizing View

The view, location, and condo overall with its kitchen, large living room, and balcony were great. If you are not used to sleeping through sirens, know that you will hear some. Not the best cooling system, clunky and only in the bedroom. Beds are bad but a better backup air matress was provided. Takes forever to get up and down the elevators since there are so many people using them. Pool area and hot tub are very spacious and having a market was cool!

The only thing they told the truth about with the unit was the floor it’s on and view

They said it’s was a queen bed turn out we got a full size the unit was furnished with OLD USE FURNITURE my dishes was still dirty reached out to management for towels NEVER GOT THEM &ETC JUST BAD SERVICE ILL NEVER RENT FROM THIS HOST AGAIN

Nice location, bad amenities.

The location of the Colony Island building is great, near everything in Waikiki. The unit being on 39th floor has great view of the surrounding, Alawai canal, Diamond head and the ocean. The bad things. The sofa which is also a slipper was broken, couldn't use it at all. I called Vacasa on the first day and every other day and complained about it, but beside apologizing once and again nothing happened. I stayed there for 9 days. Also the dining table had 4 little chairs which can be OK for children but less comfortable for mature people. The kitchen was equipped nicely and so was the bedroom. I read the reviews of this unit after I got in and found the same complaints of previous customers since 2021 so I am not sure that these issues will ever be taken care of in a serious way. Should I read the reviews before that I wouldn't take it. Sorry Vacasa, you had the chance to make a better impression, but you chose your way.

Love the view

We had a great time. Love the place. It was perfect for the 2 of us. The only suggestion I would make is to get a new sofa. You can’t sit on it. It sinks down too much.

Million-dollar Views!

We stayed in this same unit in 2019, and when we spotted it available in 2022, we booked our trip to Honolulu. I'm giving it a 5-star rating because of the basics of the place: it's a corner unit so you have a view toward Diamond Head, Waikiki, and the ocean and another view toward the mountains and over a golf course - absolutely spectacular! The amenities are great - a beautiful, large pool and hot tub, open-air laundry facilities, a little on-site store, on-site parking ($35/night), a 10-15 minute walk to the beach, and closer to tons of shops and restaurants. However, it needed a new sofa when we stayed there even in 2019 - don't plan on sleeping or sitting on it. We sat in the arm chairs, and we brought an air mattress for our daughter. It's a bit dated, but all in all, it's a comfortable, clean, and convenient place to stay with amazing views. We'd go back again!

High In the Sky Hawaiian View!!!

The incredible panoramic views from the living room & patio. Fresh breezes. We’ll stocked kitchen with big fridge. Very secure building that has swell people working in the lobby with a wealth of information. Splendid location, close to the beach, restaurants & shopping.

Apartment with great views

Last year we stayed in the same hotel but we were alone. The apartment was 4309. This time we were with children and took a one bedroom apartment. The corner apartment has a view of the mountains, the ocean, and we also enjoyed watching the majestic Diamond Head from the spacious balcony. Every day from this balcony we watched the amazing sunrise. It's not even worth mentioning cleanliness and order, everything was great. The apartment has everything you need, even fins and masks. A wonderful team Vacasa was with us throughout the entire vacation. Thank you very much. You are the best!!!

Good location, very nice view, bit outdated

The building is very nice, the staff really helpful. The apartment is at the 39th floor so amazing view, but if you are afraid of heights, maybe not recommended. Great pool, very clean. To apartment itself is fine. It has everything but it is a bit outdated. The kitchen is well supplied and the balcony is great. The sofa bed was so uncomfortable, we couldn’t use it. Therefor we used the air matras. The bed in the bedroom wasn’t very comfortable either, so we preferred the air matras. The window decoration isn’t closing well, so there is a lot of light from 05:00 am in the room so good to bring a mask. The location is convenient, very close to the beach and half an hour from the airport. We had a nice stay.

Incredible views, a great place!

Awesome place, conveniently located in Waikiki. Comfortable living room, clean and fully-stocked kitchen, and nice bedroom. And the views! Incredible from the living room window and lanai off the bedroom. And the ocean breeze that whips through was amazing!

I would not recommend to anyone.

All the furnishing in this place is cheap. It looks pretty in the picture but is far from it. The bed frame was broken. Instead of the homeowner replacing it, they decided to be cheap and try to fix it with wood and nails. I slept slanted and uncomfortable. Half of the blinds in the bedroom were broken/missing. I was woken up every morning at 5am by the sun shinning in my eyes on my vacation. The dinning room table and chairs were the cheapest set I have ever seen. I didn’t even touch it or sit at it in fear of damaging it and being charged for it. There were no matching plates, bowls, or cups. My partner ate out of a large glass bowl and I had to eat out of a small plastic bowl and that was all there was. Overall, this place was beyond terrible and I couldn’t believe they would allow someone to check into it. I paid a lot of money to stay here over a week and I am beyond irritated. This homeowner is more interested in making money off of their guests rather than fixing up their home to make it comfortable for the price they are charging.

Fridge had food stains that I cleaned. One wine glass ,I purchased two more and left them behind. No tea spoons. No tea towel. No drain plug . Short on cutlery. Dish were bulky and were difficult to fit in dish washer so the washer had to be run twice. Moldy shower curtain and mould around the tub. The tub is gray and looks well used.Poor shower head shower tape leaks,bathroom fan rattles. Closet doors we’re falling off the track and were dusty which I cleaned up.. Swifter handle broken. Mattress sags. Balcony door difficult to open and close. Appliances well used and need replacement.Views were spectacular. Living room windows were awesome. Place was bright. Has great potential If cleaned up and fixes made and attention to detail.

Uncomfortable beds

Bed in master was sinking we hurt our backs unacceptable. Couch bed in living room was wire no mattress ! Complained and manager switched out mattress but not the bedroom.

Nice view and great location however too many useless furniture and renew the beds and curtains

Too many useless furniture: 2 tables in the living room, a long chair, a telescope. We would have needed a storage unit instead. The beds are bad quality. The curtain in the room and the living room have to be changed. You wake up with the sunrise because you can not close it properly and some pieces of the blade are missing. Only 2 towels for 4 people. The chairs in the kitchen are wobbly and have to be replaced. The housekeeping was unpleasant and wanted to put us out of the room because we were not on time for the checkout. Broken chair and drawings were stowed in the dressing room so less place for our stuff.

Great location, but bring your bacterial wipes!

Great location and views. But, the place is beat. The toilet runs and isn't connected to the wall. The seat is SO worn it's down to the wood. The faucet in the Bath Room is broken and the dishwasher isn't fixed to the frame. I looked under the bed before I left to find garbage from previous stays. Yuck! The pillows were dirty and the sheets smelled like old men. I don't know...It looks like a junk store in the living room with additional furniture that isn't needed. I sat on a chair in the eating area and the seat fell through, it was so cheap. The glass coffee table (one of them) and other furniture tops had food embedded in the wood and crumbs everywhere. I just wanted to buy bacterial wipes and clean the place. I did wash all the dishes after I found food on one of the coffee cups. But...great location and views.

Best Views In Hawaii!!

The view will make you never want to leave! Corner condo on the 39th floor. You will have way more space than expected and a wonderful balcony to see it from. Location is a 5 minute walk to the beach. This Vacasa home will make you never want to even speak the word 'hotel' ever again.
