Muy luminoso, tranquilo, con piscina, este apartamento completamente redecorado a finales de 2016 por el propietario, decorador y pintor, ofrece una magnífica vista del mar, la bahía y el puerto de Funchal.
Te seducirá su encanto y su ubicación, a 2 pasos del casco antiguo y su famoso mercado, y a 10 minutos a pie de la catedral y la costa.
Muy bien equipado y muy práctico, el apartamento es ideal para pasar unas vacaciones muy agradables y descubrir la isla de Madeira.

This was a perfect location for us - close enough to the shops and the seafront but also tucked away and peaceful. We wanted somewhere we could manage without a hire car, and it was easy as pie. So glad we chose to stay here. The apartment was very well equipped, homely and comfortable to relax in. It was lovely to sit on the balcony and take in the view, and the pool was much bigger than expected - it was excellent. The complex felt calm and well maintained, with a mixture of tourists and residents.The only minor issue was the noisy lift, which can disturb any light sleepers using the twin bedroom. Of my two teenagers, one didn’t notice it, the other found it quite disruptive.Madeira was thoroughly beautiful - and if we come again we would not hesitate to stay in this apartment.

Property is looking a little tired, needs a bit of decorating, soft furnishing needs to be replaced. Double bed was uncomfortable, very firm and springs could be felt through the mattress - my wife could not sleep and had to move to the second bedroom. Overall the apartment was spacious and comfortable. Pool was nice, but let down by torn and damaged sun loungers and a dirty and damaged base to the shower. Location was good (hill a challenge), centre of Funchal close by and decent views.

Appartement propre et très bien équipé. Sa situation est aussi très pratique. Il est néanmoins un peu bruyant car mal isolé, et c'est dommage de devoir subir les réflexions des résidents à l'année qui ne supportent pas les touristes, malgré notre discrétion.

Très belle location

J'ai passé un excellent séjour dans la location de Patrick.L'appartement est grand, agréable, bien équipé.Il est aussi très bien placé.Des travaux sont en cours devant l'appartement ce qui va un peu réduire la vue mer, mais celle-ci est très large donc il en restera forcément.Je recommande. Merci à Marta de s'être arrangée pour avoir la location un peu plus tôt que prévu puisque nous sommes arrivés très tôt sur l'île.

A lovely apartment

We truly enjoyed our stay. The apartment had everything we needed. It's in a good location, walkable to shops and restaurants. We loved sitting out on the balcony with its beautiful view.

Comfortable apartment with large balcony and beatiful see view

we felt very comfortable in the apartment.We loved the large balcony and actually always sat outside. The construction site was a bit annoying but luckily we didn't see it and could enjoy the beautiful sea view.

Winter escape

The apartment was well equipped and the kitchen well stocked. Suited us perfect during our nine weeks in Funchal. A fantastic view of Funchal bay and the city from the balcony. The last part of the walk from the city is a bit steep but we are 70+ and saw it as our daily exercise! You can always grab a taxi or rent a car and the parking space in the garage belonging to the apartment is wide with plenty of space.

Juste parfait !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans le logement de Patrick. Confortable, propre , bien agencé et aménagé avec goût...et avec tout le nécessaire. Résidence au calme et la piscine pour se détendre et se rafraîchir est un plus. La place de parking sous terrain est la bienvenue également. Situé à 2 pas du centre ville à pied. Des petites attentions à notre arrivée très appréciables. Communication au top. Merci à Patrick , à Marta pour ses échanges et sa disponibilité tout au long du séjour, ainsi qu'à Sara qui nous a accueilli. Nous sommes ravis et conseillons +++

Wonderful 2 weeks holiday

We had a wonderful 2 weeks holiday. The apartment had eveyrthing we could need. It was clean had a small welcome pack which was lovely. Marta was already at the aparmtment on arrival and she showed us around the apartment, all linen was provided including towels for the swimming pool. Communication was great with Marta as we had a problem with the TV on arrival as it didn't work when we tried to switch it on, she came back to the apartment in the evening to take a look, and after speaking to support it needed a new tv box, which she delivered and installed the following day after contacting us first to see if it was ok to call in. We never had a problem getting a sunbed around the pool, it was very quiet when we went. My son could hear the lift when he was in bed, but some earplugs sorted that out. Other than that is was a lovely relaxing and peacful holiday. The apartment is at the top of an extremely steep hill but is only a 10 minute walk down to the supermarket, restaurants and shops. To avoid walking back up the hill you could get a taxi back which costs around 6 euros. The supermarket is large and stocks everything, including toiletries and a pharmacy, the taxi rank is at the back of the supermarket. We ate out a few times at various restaurants, all were very nice. There is a hop on/off bus which stops off at little fishing village where we had a spot of lunch. The cable car is only 10 minute walk away and is worth going to Monte Palace Tropical Garden at the top. On another day we took a taxi to the Botanical Gardens then on to the toboggan which is a must when visiting Madeira then the taxi took us back to the top for us to get the cable car down, it was expensive but we thought it was worth it at the time as no uphill walking was involved. Overall we loved our holiday to Madeira, the island is beautiful, the apartment was perfect for our needs and will definitely return.

Comfortabel appartement met zicht op stad en zee.

Deze woning heeft alles wat je nodig hebt voor een comfortabel verblijf. Ze is ruim, smaakvol ingericht met zin voor detail. Alle toestellen werken naar behoren. Degelijk, comfortabel zitmeubilair. Goede bedding. Goed onderhouden. Hygiëne is prima. Ruim balkon met zicht op stad, haven, oceaan en privé zwembad dat voorzien is van voldoende ligstoelen. De compound is veilig: je komt er alleen in met sleutel. Ruime genummerde staanplaats voor auto in de afgesloten, ondergrondse garage. Communicatie en dienstverlening ter plaatse zijn top! Winkelcentrum met grote supermarkt op10 minuten te voet naar beneden. De weg van het centrum naar de woning is op het einde vrij steil. Doe daarom zoals de locals: ga te voet naar de supermarkt en neem een taxi terug! De taxi’s zijn goedkoop en staan aan de uitgang van de supermarkt te wachten. Voor ca. 7 euro ben je terug thuis…

God lejlighed med fantastisk altan med sol på fra morgen til sen eftermiddag

Lejligheden ligger rigtig godt i komplekset på 2. sal med en fantastisk udsigt over Funchal og havnen/havet, virkelig smukt. Lejlighedskomplekset ligger meget tæt på byen, men ligger på en stejl bakke, så kan ikke anbefales til gangbesværede. Indkøb gøres i byen. Selve lejligheden er rigtig god med alt hvad man behøver.

Schöner Ausblick

Dieses Appartement hat unseren Vorstellungen voll entsprochen. Herrlicher Blick auf den Hafen, kurzer Weg in die Stadt (zurück haben wir aber immer ein Taxi genommen) und sogar einen Garagenstellplatz für den Mietwagen. Einziges Manko - was man bei einem Madeira-Urlaub aber akzeptieren muss - ist der relativ steile Weg vom Appartement zur Innenstadt (es sind aber auch nur ca. 150 - 200 Meter richtig steil).

Sehr zufrieden!

Der Gesamteindruck der Wohnung ist sehr gut. Martha hat uns sehr liebevoll in die Wohnung eingeführt. Zuerst hatten wir einige Mühe, den Standfort der "Veranda von Funchal" zu finden, aber einmal gefunden, war es sensationell. Die Wohnung war sauber und einladend, die Aussicht genial. Eine Bemerkung an den Vermieter: leider haben wir ohne merken ein Küchentuch mit nach Hause genommen. Es wäre gewaschen und gebügelt. Aber wir haben die Anschrift von Martha nicht. Wir möchten ihr das Küchentuch mit einem süssen Gruss aus unserer Schweizer Heimat schicken. Bitte mailen Sie uns doch die Adresse von Martha. Lovely apartment close to town

Enjoyed our stay. Marta was excellent and really helpful. Nice and close to the town centre. Walk up the hill is a challenge with 2 7l bottles of water but good for fitness.

Wonderful view, spacy and comfortable

We had a wonderful week in Funchal, the apartment was in walking distance to downtown, historic district, harbour, market hall and supermarket. Although central, it was very quiet at night. Apartment was spacious, wonderful view from the balcony. Kitchen was equipped with everything necessary. Our host Marta was very friendly and helpful at any time. Would love to come again.
