Mi casa está a 1/4 de la M25 en un acantilado en una zona boscosa con vista al lago Hurón. La costa virgen ofrece la oportunidad de caminar y explorar la naturaleza. Uno podría caminar aproximadamente una milla a lo largo de la orilla en cualquier dirección y no ver a otra persona. Abundan los ciervos, los pájaros te despiertan por la mañana y el águila calva vigila la costa. Alquiler semanal solamente (sábado a sábado) durante los meses de verano. Fin de semana largo o alquiler semanal en primavera y otoño.





Actividades y recreación: Los espectáculos de artesanía y los deportes acuáticos abundan durante los meses de verano. Las carreras de motos acuáticas Can-Am y los espectaculares fuegos artificiales a lo largo de la costa son actividades de principios de julio. Mira los veleros saltar por el horizonte y pasar de camino a Mackinaw durante las carreras de Port Huron / Mackinaw. ¿Te gusta la antigüedad? El pulgar te mantendrá ocupado. El lanzamiento de botes, la pesca y las playas de arena se encuentran a pocos kilómetros de distancia. Una variedad de campos de golf públicos están dentro de un radio de 30 millas. The house and property were lovely. Gorgeous sunrises! The kitchen/living room/dining area were perfect for our small group — so much counter space! Beds were mostly all comfy, house was clean and had pretty much everything we needed. It was quite musty when we first got in, but we were able to air it out after a while. My only complaint is that the beach was murky and a little stinky so we ended up going to another nearby beach. The listing did not say swimming, so no blame there! I guess I just assumed. Overall, we enjoyed it!

Wonderful

We enjoyed our stay So much. The house had everything we needed, from the kitchen to the bathroom, bedrooms and garage! My kids ages 9-15 and my elderly parents, we all enjoyed a relaxing vacation. We had the waterfront to ourselves and enjoyed exploring the rocky shores. We immediately felt right at home. Thank you Lois for sharing it with us. Of all the places we have ever stayed- this is my favorite.

Quiet, remote and amazing!

If you are looking for a quiet, low key vacation spot, this is for you! The house had everything we needed. It was huge with enough space for everyone to stretch out. The beach access was easy to walk down and it was relaxing to just listen to the water. We saw bunnies in yard and hummingbirds at the feeder! She has fun outdoor games in the garage that are perfect for quiet evenings. Check out the local coffee shops and restaurants. The locals are very friendly! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Beautiful peace and relaxtion

We had wonderful time at Lois's house. It had all the extras you forget to bring. View was wonderful. Very peaceful and got away from the hectic life. Had a wonderful time walking the shore everyday.

Love it here!

As always, we had a very nice stay, although our week turned into 2 1/2 days as our little dog tore her acl. This place is a gem.. I hope that it always stays wild and free. We intend on returning seasonally as long as Lois shares her lovely place with the rest of us.

Beautiful hidden cabin steps from the water

We came to this area to see what it had to offer. My family and I had a great time; the weather wasn't warm enough to try swimming, but we all love fossil and rock hunting, and this beach was perfect for that! The house was huge with a classic farmhouse layout! So home-y, a true dream vacation home with lots of room for the family. We have 2 young kids, 10 yrs and 7 yrs, and they LOVED getting to pick from all of the beds. Everything was clean, the yard was beautifully maintained, and we saw lots of animals come through to visit. Not a ton to do in the town itself, but there were lots of beaches to check out nearby, as well as the one right down the steps of the cabin's property, which was exactly what we were looking for. Everything was a described, I can definitely recommend a visit to others.

Perfect Lake Getaway

Loved this property! We were in town for a wedding, but I've saved this place for future vacations. It was so quiet and peaceful, I wish I had booked a longer stay. The kitchen was well stocked, they even had a rolling pin which I used to make the crust for an apple pie from apples growing on the north side of the house! There were also instructions and supplies for stocking the hummingbird feeder, which was really neat. My 14 month daughter loved running around the yard and the beach. She even went up all the stairs by herself without issue, as did my elderly father. I really liked the yard and the wooded staircase down to the lake, I preferred this setup to some of the properties that aren't on the cliffy part of the lake, because it felt more secluded while still offering beautiful views from the living room and bedrooms. Highly recommend!!

We'd stay here again

We loved it here, it was a perfect place to relax and unwind. The house is comfortable and immaculately clean. Morning walks on the beach followed by lazy afternoons sitting on the porch watching the lake, if only real life was like that every day. The yard is beautiful! There are hummingbirds, blooming flowers, deer, and bunnies. Definitely bring water shoes you're going to want to explore the beach. The only downside I see to this place is that vacation ends and you have to leave. We hope to stay here again. Thank you, Lois!

Absolutely Magical

From sun rise to sun set - this property is stunning. Between the waves, the wildlife, the wind in the trees and the jacuzzi tub - this is the perfect setting for peaceful getaway to reset.

Beautiful home. Beautiful rocky beach. Beautiful yard overlooking the bluff. The sound of the waves mixed with the wind and then the storms that came through a couple of days - all of it was enchanting. The sunrise over the lake and the full moon - absolutely breath taking. Nice size kitchen and dinning room for meals. Jacuzzi tub and wood burning fireplace were the icing on the cake.

Ahhhh...

A great place to relax! My Mom and I had a great time walking on the beach on a sunny afternoon, to then be able to sit with a fire and enjoy snow! Clean place, lots of room!

A perfect getaway!

We had such a great time at this warm and comfortable home. It is well equipped and laid out just right for a weekend of food, friends, and games! My only note is that there are lots of beds but actually only two bedrooms. The queen bed is tucked around a corner but it is still in the common sleeping area with the twin beds.
