Family friendly bungalow with big yard and deck, close to town

A cozy and newly remodeled bungalow, close to town but with a country feel, complete with a spacious deck with a charcoal grill, firepit, and comfortable furniture. Inside you will find a cozy living room with fire place and smart tv, there is also a foosball table. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove/oven , microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffeemaker, and toaster. The beds are comfortable and there is the possibility for two more guest by pulling out the sofabed!

What a great place to come home to after a long cold day of hunting. We thought the place was very nice and comfortable. The foosball table was a very nice touch. We really appreciated everything and we will definitely be coming back next year!

The places was cozy and inviting! Great layout and had everything we needed. Autumn color all around the area was beautiful. Host was very attentive and easy to interact with. Easy drive to lake and Frankenmuth!

Nice place. Nice fire pit. Nice aesthetics. Quiet, with the exception of the train that went by at 9:30 pm and 2:30 am on the one evening. Seems to possibly be seasonal or periodic. The kids enjoyed the games, foosball, and outdoor corn hole game.Clean and stocked with pretty much what you might need. Bed in main room was crazy comfortable. Good location for branching off to go around to other cities.My personal favorite decoration were the Shawn the sheep painted rocks.

The home was situated in farm country with plenty of space to see and hear wildlife and find peace and quiet. The house was super beautiful, decorated with colors and items that gave it a sense of tranquility. We could really feel all the love from the family that prepared the space. There were games to play and a full kitchen so that we could prepare meals together. There was plenty of outdoor seating so that we could take in sunrises and sunsets together. The property was very close to a few local eats, a supermarket, and a Dollar General. About 15 minutes away is a nice roadside stop with stairs to a quiet beach. We were so blessed to use this home as a hub for our vacation around Michigan's Thumb.

This cute little house is PERFECT for a romantic getaway. Tons of privacy, cozy rooms decorated with an artists touch. Everything was really nice and updated. Lake Huron is only 12 minutes away. We were blown away with how inexpensive this place was for how nice it was. We ABSOLUTELY plan to book next year around the same time. Really nice host and really nice home.

Great stay!

The house was absolutely perfect for me and my family. It’s decorated very nice, it was exceptionally clean, and there were plenty of games and toys to keep my kids entertained. It was close to the local grocery store and gas station so it was very convenient. I highly recommend staying here, and will probably be staying here again.

Great repeat stay! Our family once again enjoyed the clean and spacious “Yellow House” in Deckerville. Very comfortable and well equipped with just about everything you’d need. Quiet area with a manageable drive to Lake Huron beach area. We’ll be back!

We stayed at the yellow cottage in Deckerville and loved it! Great location, close to everything in the thumb and the cutest house! We felt right at home. We had a rainy weekend and were able to grab a puzzle and stay in both nights after exploring during the day. Would stay here again!

Fantastic space and hosts

We stayed for a weekend baseball tournament that was in Cass City. The house has a lovely aesthetic and everything you need for time away from home. We enjoyed a fire in the backyard firepit and everyone had fun with the fusbol table. Sandra was quick to respond to questions and requests. You can tell that they built this house with love and care.

Yellow house stay

Stay was amazing, weather was rough but the driveway was neatly plowed and the home is amazing! Wonderful aesthetics and a very homie feel! Would love to stay again in the future!

Christmas in Deckerville

We gathered family to come and visit my mom who lives in assisted living. We were able to bring her to the home during the day and some family came every day for a visit. The house worked really well. The entrance was easy as my mom uses a walker. The inside is so warmly decorated that you feel right at home. It was very comfortable for us and very navigable with Mom's walker. The owner had decorated for Christmas, including a Christmas tree, which just made our visit so festive. We had gotten snow a couple of days, someone came promptly and plowed the drive. The owner herself stopped by one day to make sure that all was going well.
