Quedan dos semanas en agosto. ¡Disfruta el final del verano!

NO tenemos WIFI. Gran vista del lago. La playa es pequeña este año. Hogueras en tierra. ¡Se acabó el agua! Patio grande para jugar al voleibol. Tenemos sillas, mesas, sombrillas y un columpio silla de madera. Puede andar en bicicleta o caminar hasta el cercano Parque Forester para tomar un helado o jugar en el patio de recreo. Usted debe revisar las estrellas por la noche !!! Disfrute de la cerrada en porche a ver los barcos pasar, el sol y la luna vienen! También una visita obligada !!! Lo llamamos el 'Million dollar view' !!! Le encantará quedarse dormido con el sonido de las olas fuera de la ventana de su !!!!!! No se puede pedir nada mejor !!! Si te gusta la belleza y sonidos de la naturaleza, este es el lugar para ti !! Nuestro piso de arriba no tiene aislamiento, por lo que puedes disfrutar del sonido de la lluvia para quedarte dormido. Incluso las tormentas son impresionantes de ver sobre el lago !!! Usted puede incluso obtener una imagen de un arco de lluvia! Sólo 7 millas al hospital más cercano y Veterinaria. A 1,6 km al sur está el bar y asador Forester Inn. Una milla al norte es gas, madera, pizza y una pequeña tienda. ¡Disfrútalo tanto como nuestra familia durante 85 años!

The house was very comfortable and we loved the sun porch. The beach is definitely rocky so if you're a rock hunter like I am it's the perfect spot. Great quite location. Was fun to watch the sailboat race and freighters.

My family and I had an awesome stay here! We loved the small property and how quiet and respectful everybody was. The owners were awesome with communication and any questions we had! Would love to stay here again!!!

Another GREAT stay!

This was our 4th stay at this quaint cottage right on the shore of Lake Huron. The weather cooperated and our vacation was perfect. Plenty of rocks for hunting and sand to dig our toes in. There were games provided but our favorite activity is to paint the flat rocks we found. I can't recommend this place enough. These hosts are the best. Thanks!

We had a wonderful stay. Was my husbands first time seeing freighters. We also saw shooting stars and the milky way. Place was very clean and the owners were amazing in responding when messaging them. Stairs down to the beach are 9 so me, being disabled, could not go down them. But the sounds of the waves crashing into shore and the view more than made up for that. We ordered food from the Forester bar down the road. Great food, everything we ordered. Th store north no longer does pizza but the bars was amazing. We hope to be able to come and stay again.

Great beach!

The annual girls trip was another success! The beach was terrific, sunroom was nice, sleeping areas were perfect accommodations for all 6 of us. The kitchen was a little small but we made do. Had a great time!

Beautiful and peaceful

We had such a blessed time here. The owners were very communicative. The property was comfortable and so clean. Although we brought everything we needed we didn’t have too. They were fully stocked with everything you could need. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will hopefully return in the future for much needed alone time. BONUS!! The shower was unexpected.Powerful for a cottage shower!! I loved it.

Beautiful view

Beautiful property highly recommend. The view of Lake Huron was breathtaking. It was quiet very few beach walkers it was like our very own private beach. Quiet neighbors I was a bit concerned with it being 4th of July week. Just wish my husband and I could have enjoyed the property a bit more and not be down with nasty cold and sinus infections and checked out a couple days early but the swing was the perfect place to just rest and enjoy the view.

Nice, clean, vintage cottage in isolated area

Nice little cottage in a super quiet area directly on Lake Huron. Large grassy area to sunbathe in, beach is very rocky, little sand. Great for rock-hounding! Luckily, there was only 1 woman and 2 children next door for just one day, so no privacy issues. Enjoyed one day of sunbathing due to crappy weather rest of week. Went shopping in Lexington twice, which was fun. Different stores open both days, which is unusual. My problem was that I went to rest, relax and de-stress, which I did….but I had no idea it was as isolated as it is. I thought that it was reasonably populated with things to do (e.g., more shopping than just Lexington, more restaurant options, etc). Thankfully, there were books and I read a lot of the time. There are a lot of games, which would work for couples or families. I just didn’t know the area well enough (definitely my fault) and the weather was mostly crummy, and you can’t do anything about the weather… I wish the listing warned you that it was in a very remote area with very limited options for food and things to do. And I assumed from the listing that said “Check back three days before you arrive for WiFi access information” that there WAS WiFi. THERE IS NO WIFI. Maybe that could be stipulated somewhere. In all caps. Finally, the front door lock sometimes works, sometimes doesn’t. Yes, there’s another entrance, it’s just a pain. It needs to be replaced. The cottage was good, but I wouldn’t go back to that area again.

The lake view is spectacular. We swam, played games, roasted marshmallows and had a blast. Property is just as described and host is very helpful!

Fantastic!

What a great cottage. The sun porch was used ALL the time. From painting rocks to just watching the waves roll in. We had a blast. The kids loved the waves and hunting beautiful rocks in the lake. The best part was the beach was only steps away. We did not want to leave. Thanks!

Last summer getaway

It was our second time staying at this property. We discovered this place last year and it was a perfect getaway. My wife and I love the location and amenities. The cabin is comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. The lake views are spectacular. It’s a bonus that it’s pet friendly and we can bring our kids along ! We definitely plan on coming back.

Million dollar view!

The million dollar view from the beautiful screened in porch is the best part of this property. We stayed there most of the time. We enjoyed our stay!

Much needed R&R

The owners were absolutely wonderful in communication during our stay! Their property was just as described and had everything we needed for a beautiful summer week on Lake Huron with beach access steps away. Would definitely return.
