Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was a nice cabin. The pool could have been a little warmer. Also the pool alarm was so high that I had to have someone else shut it off. The alarm in the pool, even when it was turned to swim it went off ( so we had to shut it off).

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was beautiful, and well kept. We could have used more trash bags and toilet paper. One thing I would suggest is decorating for Christmas. We came during Christmas time for a child’s birthday who loves Christmas. Most people travel to that area during Christmas for the festive feel. There was no Christmas decor at all. Other than that, the stay was great.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was definitely one of our best vacations yet. The cabin was clean, looked to be well maintained which is a plus. The only thing that I could maybe give a very small negative to was the pool. Although is was one of the nicest pools I’ve ever been in, the splash alarm was annoying. Even with it set to swim, the alarm kept going off and we were literally just floating around watching movies. Other than that, the overall experience was great. Great customer service and a great cabin definitely made this easily the best vacation to date. Will be coming back in the warmer months of next year. Thanks for a great experience!

Best VACA ever!!! Otter Spring Pool Cabin

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: From the beginning Elk Springs Resort customer service was wonderful. Always friendly, fast and accurate. Made booking very easy, payments made posted accurately. We got to our cabin and it was better than expected. This made our vacation amazing. Our cabin was magical, every detail was accurate described and provided. This allowed us to relax and enjoy ourselves. The pool was wonderful, Always seemed to stay at reasonable temperatures. The jacuzzi was perfect and private. We loved playing the occasionally game of pool, there was plenty of room in the large bedroom. The Resort also was very proactive by texting throughout the stay with any important updates, such as a current burn ban however letting us know we could still use gas grill as we were not sure. They had all bases covered. One of the best parts, our cabin was expected to be ready at check-in normally 3pm however as we arrived in town at 12ish we received a text stating our cabin was ready at 12:34pm. We were extatic.Thank you Elk Springs Resort for a fabulous time, we are already picking our cabin for next year! You have a lifelong customer.

I would have given 5 stars but for the security features to the pool room ... the door alarm and pool (water) alarm were a hassle, but I understand why they are needed. The cabin is only a few minutes from the main drag in Pigeon Forge, but still a quiet neighborhood and very relaxing. Would stay here again!

Cozy Cabin

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was beautiful and conveniently located just off a main road. The hot tub was a highlight—so relaxing. We did lose internet for a day, but it was back by 8 a.m. the next morning. The pool was nice too, though the water was colder than expected, especially at night. The bathrooms were well-stocked with plenty of towels, which was a plus. If you're picky about bedding, you might want to bring your own blankets—the brown ones provided were a bit rough and not very comfortable for sleeping. On the wildlife front, we spotted a beaver by the cabin, but no bears—so that’s a win! Can’t wait to plan our next cabin getaway with Elk next year.

All the alarms (especially the pool alarm) was quite a nuisance for our adult crew. The beds were not comfortable at all either. It was clean and beautiful scenery.

6 nights in Tennessee's log cabin retreat all to ourselves

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Otter Springs was perfect for the 4 of us. We explored Gatlinburg,Pigeon Forge, and the Smoky National Park. We went to Dolly's Stampede Dinner on our first night. (Highly recommend) It was a great show & fantastic food. We visited Titanic, Alcatraz, Ripleys Aquarium, and Ankeesta Night Show. We ate at Jason Aldeans restaurant it has a small menu yet delicious. Shopped in Gatlinburg as well as Pigeon Forge 's Ariat. Lots to do and our cabin was it's own activity. Hot tub in the morning and night and we loved watching movies in the theater pool room!! Perfect place to unwind and relax. You have neighbors but we barely saw anyone. Reaching out to management was super easy when we had a question. The house was clean and we ate out some and cooked some. Perfect blend of home yet vacation! Use bundles online to save money on attractions. The mountain coasters are everywhere and worth at least trying! We did Alpine and the Goat because they were sooo close to our cabin. If you want a mix of a tourists location yet you want to stay our of the crowd this would be your spot.

Spring Break Fun

The property was perfect for the 4 of us! Plenty of activities within minutes yet tucked into the mountains for privacy. The house was it's own fun. Movies every night in the pool! Hot tub in the mornings. Daytime tourism. Hosts were quickly available for any questions we had!

But for the money we spent the things inside was in poor condition!! The bed downstairs was bad. It was sloped down and was hard to sleep on. It was like sleeping in a hole. The grill outside didn’t work at all. The pool area smelled really bad. Like sewer or trash. Outside at the hot tub should have had some non slip mats. Very slippery on the concrete dew to mildew build up. And the privacy curtain was ripped to shreds. We did enjoy our time with our family there. But the quality did not match the quantity.

Reviewer Comments: The primary good:1) location- away from the hoopla but not too far away2) condition- clean with new amenities3) indoor pool- the grandkids loved thatThe areas for improvement1) bedsheets- the bedsheets on both beds was annoying because the fitted sheets kept popping off of the mattresses; waking up to find you have been sleeping on the mattress pad is not desirable2) upstairs side window- there are no blinds on this side window; I could look into the neighboring cabin’s window which meant occupants of that cabin could look into ours; I wound up fashioning a curtain out of towels and stacked chairs

Our only concern was the nails that were coming up on the 3 outside decks in the back. Screws should have been used. At least a dozen nails were lifted causing great danger to children and adults feet if stepped on. We loved the views! Stunning. Can’t wait to stay again!!

LOVE THIS CABIN

Pool and hot tub were fantastic and it's so close to pigeon forge that you are just minutes away from everything. The access to the neighborhood was super easy from the main road and the neighborhood felt super safe. This house met all of our requirements; it had a well equip kitchen for everything we needed and was super clean. The living room furniture and master bed were comfortable. We really were able to spend good family time enjoying the pool table, hot tub and movies in the pool. I wish they had a cable box connected to the projector screen. We assumed it would have it and didn't bring blue ray movies. We ended up making a Walmart trip and bought a cable to connect our laptop so we could stream our movie apps. Once we got that figured out it was great. The only other negative was the downstairs bedroom with the door was not as comfortable. The mattress had a dip in the middle and there was a mattress protector or something that was really loud when you turned over in bed. Overall, our family really enjoyed this cabin and would stay in the exact same one next time we go back. I would highly reccomend!

Everything was clean and we had a starter supply of essentials! The kids loved the pool and theater center! We did have to call maintenance out for the hot tub upon arrival, but they sent someone out quickly to get it fixed! The checkin and checkout process and maintenance issue was very easy with only a text! We would definitely book again!

I was a little nervous about check in - the cabin was supposed to be ready at 3pm and I had to call around 6pm to get the code. Besides that - no other issues at all.
