We had a really nice stay. The house layout was perfect for our group of adults and teens, it was nice having the basement for the kids to hang out. There are several twin beds in each room which is nice to be able to sleep a lot of people, but if you are a couple it can be a little weird unless you push them together. We used the fire pit which was great. It’s about 18 min to lake George village. House was clean and well stocked. Thank you!

Country home for large families

The home was a plenty big for our sons and grandchildren.We really enjoyed the fire pit. The ride to Lake George was 20 minutes and to Six Flags only 15 minutes.The gravel road that the home is on was the only negative because of its large potholes. But overall everyone enjoyed our stay.

More than enough room for 5 adults and 4 kids. Host very responsive. Clean. Loved fire pit!

Disappointed

Our stay was fine. House clean. But we pick location because of a 3 minute walk to beach. NO directions to beach witch was not marked and sign saying NO SWIMMING. Had. 2 and 6 yr old wanted to be able to walk to beach.

Perfect choice for our family vacation - and the price was very reasonable!

Nice open concept living room/dining room/kitchen was perfect for everyone being together but not crowded. The basement was fun for games and activities (such as an ongoing jigsaw puzzle). It had the perfect number of bedrooms for our group, including the one in the basement level that provided that little bit of extra privacy for our daughter's in-laws. The ac was nice and cool - a great blessing and relief from the oppressive heat outside. The location was great, both in proximity to Lake George and the beach access to Hadlock. We could pack up and walk down there in just a few minutes after the little ones woke up from their morning naps. Everyone we met in the neighborhood was friendly, too. We also enjoyed the campfire. Wish we'd had more time to spend there.

Nice weekend away

There was ample sleeping room. The spiral staircase to lower level was a bit difficult for older guests. We made use of fire pit and walked to lake but mostly enjoyed outdoor seating on porch.

Great Rental for Large Group

We had a group of 11 with 7 kids ranging from 4-16 years old. This property had plenty to space and seating to eat and relax. Very close proximity to Lake Hadlock, great yard for games with a grill and fire pit too. The property host was quick to answer any questions we had as well.

Great place!

Retired college friends had a great time! Eight adults from 5 families had more than enough room. Enjoyed kayaking on the lake (short walk), visiting Lake George and just hanging out on the porch and around the fire pit.

Plenty of room inside & out for our ten members. Great lawn for games

Great central location to visit local attractions & tourist venues. Quiet neighborhood and plenty of shade on sunny days . Did not use beach area very much due to other scheduled avlctivities.

Great Stay and Value!

We had 12 total with our extended family group trip and Bonnie's place really came through for us. More than enough beds and spaces for everyone, and the layout was great for conversation and privacy. We especially loved the firepit in the yard. A great stay for a great value!

Bonnie is an excellent host, she reaches out ahead of time, and provides all the information that you might need. Great place to stay. Well maintained. Really clean. Cute. Well designed. Beautiful interiors. Spacious. Quiet neighborhood. Perfect experience. We will ABSOLUTELY STAY AGAIN.

Nice home. Only one bath on 1st main floor. Spiral staircase tricky for children and older adults.

Hadlock Lake (it's definitely not a pond)

The home was the perfect size for our family. Plenty of beds, the kitchens had everything we needed, the washer and dryer came in handy, the wrap around porch with the back deck was perfect for morning tea and a late afternoon cocktail, the AC was comforting on warmer days, the walk to the lake was as described, the lake was clean with a sandy bottom, day hikes abound, and a short ride to Lake George provided great live music, arcades for the teenagers, and great restaurants. You may want to think about bringing your own kayaks, but the owners had plenty of floaties!

So clean and enough room! The 2 full bathrooms were great. The beach at the lake was perfect for our family as it was close and not too many others.

Convenient location for sightseeing and peace & tranquility in the Adirondacks!

Bonnie was very easy to correspond with. Their family cabin was perfect for our family getaway! Beds are comfortable! Kitchen table is large sized and perfect for meals and conversations and the openness of the living room was great too! But, spend time on the decks! Beautiful deck and wish we had more time at Lake Hadlock! We love Lake George and Lake Placid and was also able to easily venture to VT to visit family! We loved our meal at the nearby Streakjng Moose and icecream from Stewart’s. We would definitely return!

Perfect place to stay

We were a group of 10 adults and we had plenty of room and it worked out perfect for us!! The house was great and it was so nice with the beach 3 minute walk. The house was clean and everything was exactly as described. We had a great time and we will be returning our next trip to lake George area!!

Wonderful mountain trip

We had a great time on our July trip to the Lake George area. Bonnies house is very spacious with lots of sleeping space. Very close to Lake Hadlock a few minute walk where you can bring your kayak or swim. We had fun at the fire pit a few nights. The house is also very close to A drive in movies that we went to one night. The town of Lake George and Bolton Landing are a short drive from the house about 20 min I think. We enjoyed the area and visited Lake Placid one day which is 1 1/2 hr north but a very beautiful area and little town. Whiteface mountain is up by lake placid as well and is a amazing experience to drive up to see the veiws. It cost money to drive up whiteface highway but is worth it. Me and my family had a great time and I recommend this house, location and living space are a place.
