The duplex was perfect for us. The fenced in yard was great for our dogs. The house is a very easy walk to the beach and easy biking distance to most island locations (for someonewho hasn't biked in 20 years). And there were deer out back every day.The house offered everything we needed.

The neighborhood was quiet and cozy, and the walk to the beach was short. The house is near some of my favorite Jekyll places: Driftwood Beach and Tortuga Jacks. We had a great experience with Jekyll Realty.

Pleasant Stay - Very Nice Area and Unit

Very nice duplex. Loved the vaulted ceilings in the kitchen and living room. Loved the large master suite bathroom and Shower. Our bed was even comfortable enough that we didn't miss our bed at home too much. Our two adult children stayed in the twin beds and didn't have any complaints and their bathroom was nice. Never made it out back so not sure of that area. Loved the separate driveway and separation from the other unit. Loved the sitting area up front in the enclosed porch. Washer and dryer was good. Close to beach access on Dexter Road which is across the street from this place. Not a far walk at all. It was cold the week we stayed so we had to turn the heater on, and it worked great. The only thing to say negative was there was a musty smell and I'm sensitive to smells, but we got used to it as we stayed there. That's why I gave 4 stars for the "Cleanliness" because of the smell, however, the place my sister's family rented on Dexter had the same smell and she had a much bigger house. We are guessing its the smell of the island homes. Overall very nice and we would stay there again.

Very nice property. Clean and near ocean and bike paths. We really enjoyed that the front porch has been screened in. We could hear the ocean nearly every morning. It was a good experience.

Wonderful Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Barnhill B! Me, my family, a couple of friends went to Jekyll Island for my cousin's wedding. We had a great time, and the accommodations made it even better! It was very clean, and everything was as advertised. The beach is about a 2 minute walk just across the street, and about a mile from the village if shopping is your thing. It was located in a quiet spot on the island, so it made it very easy to unwind at the end of a full day of activities. Jekyll Reality also started offering a linen package for an additional fee, and in our opinion it's totally worth it! Thankyou for everything, we really enjoyed our visit, and we'll definitely be back to stay here again!

Family trip

We really enjoyed our visit! The kitchen was so well stocked with everything you need to cook a good meal. We did get to see deer in the backyard. There was construction going on at the house next door, and that is not the best way to wake up while on vacation (a warning about that would have been nice when booking). Overall, we would stay there again when the house next door is done with their remodel!

Great place for the money

Enjoyed our stay, good location, everything worked inside the house. Saw several deer in the back yard. First time staying at a vrbo and didn't realize you needed to bring your own linens. Our fault for not reading the whole description but a quick stop at Walmart fixed our problem lol Hopefully we will be back here again next year.
